The key fob for the 2017 Nissan Rogue takes a CR2032 size battery. Replacing it is very simple. You will need a small flathead screwdriver. To begin, press the small C-HRome button at the top left corner. This releases the ignition key. Remove this by releasing the latch on the back side of the fob. Use the screwdriver to pry apart the fob into two halves. At this point, You should see the old battery. Take note of how it is positioned so You know which side needs to be up when You install the new one. Use Your nail or the screwdriver to pry the old battery out. Push the new one in it's place. The positive side should be facing down so the negative side is towards You. Replace the key and put the two halves back together. You may need to progRam Your key to work the door locks.

2017 Rogue Sport SV. Energizer 2025. They come in a two-pack. I purchased two of them and threw the extra pack in my fridge door. I also took a picture of it and saved it to my cloud photos for easy remembering.
