The Dodge Ram 1500 starter solenoid can be found in the main fuse panel that is located under the hood. This can be found directly behind the battery and has a plastic cover over it, when You remove the cover there is a label on the bottom that will let You know which solenoid is for the starter. If Your starter is not working then the first thing that You will want to check is the solenoid and the wiring to it. This will usually break before the actual starter motor breaks, so it is most likely the source of the problem.

The solenoid is attached to the starter. The fuse box has only fuses and relays. If you Google it you will see a picture of it.
