If You own a Dodge Ram 2500, You may eventually find Yourself needing to change Your fuel filter. To do this, You will need to locate it. First, locate the yellow fuel filter drain. It will be on the housing, in the engine bay, close to the firewall. Next, position a drain pan beneath the fuel filter housing unit. You will have to use a Phillips screwdriver to help You loosen the drain. You will also need a 1 1/8 inch socket to remove the bolts, then the fuel filter within. Now, place the new filter where the old one was, replace the housing, and screw everything back into place. You can expect to pay between $8 and $25 for the part alone.
