The correct size for a Honda CR-V spare, for recent model years 2017-2020, is going to be a 235/65R17. While Your Honda doesn't come with a compact spare anymore, instead dumping a cheesy "repair kit" where You'd expect one, You can buy a useful kit off Amazon for $145 that's an OEM replacement. If You have an older CR-V, there's an 18 inch also You can buy, a bit more pricey, at $172, to have that as a spare. These tires weight 30 to 36 pounds when inflated properly, so that's a bit of additional weight in the back of Your CR-V, but the piece of mind more than makes up for Your lost fuel economy.

The honda crv does not come with a spare tire, but you can get a kit to mount on either on the back, or under the tail end.

Just found flat tire on my 2031 CRV. Had a tow truck pick me up because I was told no spare. When I got my car towed, I opened the back and there was a dang spare back there!!
