None of you are 100% correct. Each year and drivetrain have different points in which the limiter kicks in. The true way to know is to get the RR tune that eliminates it, and to run the car to its max. Very few people have actually done this.
I own a 2016 Lexus is350ive maxed it out at 149/150 before the governor limited me from going any further. I’ve drove for 20 minutes hovering in the 140s. San Diego to Coachella valley. I love Lexus and its reliability.
