The normal oil pressure for the Dodge Ram 1500 5 7 hemi is 25 to 65 psi. Your oil needs to be changed eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't change it, there will be problems with the engine. Having high quality oil is essential for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with this fluid at some point. A normal problem is a nasty burning smell. This needs to be looked into as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. You could experience bad gas mileage. Knocking noise may show up from the engine.
When I start my truck it was at 55 psi. Then after warming up started dropping. Is that normal?

The range given is accurate. If your pressure says 96psi, replace your oil pressure sensor. Super easy to do yourself with 1/2 breaker bar, 1 1/16 deep well socket and 3-5” extender.
I have a 2012 ram 1500 big horn and i idle at 30 psi for my oil. Is that good?

2013 ram 1500 hemi. 150k. . Depends on Oil! Now running PUP with 2 qt of redline. Reads 60 psi cold after change and idle about 37psi at temp... Usually not going passed 54 psi on highway warm.. Truck burns about a quarter every 2k mi .. Old or low oil psi would be 52 cold and as low a 24psi but usually 30 at idle
