The jack for a Ford Explorer is going to be located in trunk. First pop open the trunk and then look on the left hand side. You will see two plastic hinges on the side compartment. Screw out these two plastic hinge knobs by hand and then pull the panel off. Hidden in this secret compartment will be the jack and tools You will need to replace Your tire. The spare tire will be located in the trunk also. It can be found beneath the carpet/mat. You will need to lift it up and then remove the wing nut that is holding Your spare tire in place.

To find the jack within a ford explorer, this can be found within the rear loading space near the climate control option.
