The OBD port in a Ford Transit custom can be found under the steering wheel on the driver's side. You will have to remove a plastic cover that says OBD II on the top of it to access the port. The OBD II port is the diagnostic port that You can connect a scan tool or computer to. When You do that You can read the information that is in Your ECU. If You happen to have any check engine lights on at the dash You will need to connect a tool to the port in order to read the codes and clear them. It also is the port that an emissions inspection will use to check for any problems within the computer.

As with most ford trucks, you can find the obd port under the steering wheel. On this particular model, you'll need to remove the plastic door to access the port itself.
