Changing the power steering fluid in the 2010 Ford Escape is a simple enough task. To change the power steering fluid You will need to first locate the container, which will be under the hood near the window. It will be a clear plastic container. Using a pump You will want to extract all of the fluid from the container. Once the fluid gets low You will want to turn the steering wheel, all the way to one side, then all the way to the other. This will cause the fluid in the wheel to drain into the container, remove this as well. Once the container is dry You can go ahead and fill it to the full line, but not over. It will take a little bit for the wheel to loosen up, so try driving for about 20 minutes to make sure it worked.
Is their a REAL mechanic there???? NOT someone who pumps gas and fills tires then calls himself a "mechanic"!!!!!!!! One says it's on the passenger side, the other says it's on the drivers side!!!!! WTF??????? THERE IS NO PS RESERVOIR ANYWHERE!!!!!!

2010 Ford Escape has electric power steering there is no fluid reservoir because that car doesn’t use power steering fluid. It’s electric power steering. For me I hate it

It’s electric steering. No fluid. If you’re steering sticks or your battery lite comes on, but your battery is good, then it’s your alternator
