If Your Toyota Camry's USB port is no longer working, there are three possible causes. The first, and I'd argue most likely, is also the most embarrassing. I'd recommend trying a different cable before You engage in any attempted repairs; even the best of us sometimes occasionally get caught up and don't realize that our cable is damaged or otherwise inoperable. Alternatively, if it is the USB drive itself, You'll find the point of failure in one of two different locations. It's possible that the pins on the port have become damaged, so that's a place You can start. This will, unfortunately, necessitate replacement. Otherwise, it's Your wiring; depending on model year, some USB ports are located in the center console. This introduces more wiring (read: more points of failure) into the system. Check connectors and test for continuity.
Can anyone point to a parts diagram with the USB ports located in the center console? The driver's side port used to work for my 2018 Camry, but stopped one day while driving. My dealer said the center console ports never supported carplay; they are for power only. I'd like to order the replacement cable and fix this myself. Thanks!

If the USB port on the Toyota Camry is not working then there may be something wrong with the contact plate, they can get damaged easy, or the USB is not getting power.

Could having a damaged windshield replaced and then reprogrammed one hour prior to failure have anything to do with it?
