The Ford F-150's instrument cluster can stop working due to a combination of causes that include a blown fuse and a faulty wiring harness in the steering column. Check the F29 fuse to see if it's blown and replace. This fuse is known to give out in the F-150. Next examine the wiring harness surrounding the shift lever. The wires can over time short out and cause #29 to keep blowing and the gauges in the instrument cluster to simultaneously stop working. This is a recurring scenario for owners of the Ford F-150. In addition, faulty sensors, can cause malfunction of the gauges and if instrument cluster readings are erratic or emitting low readings, the voltage regulator may need to be replaced.

To reset the instrument cluster in a ford f150 you should take the following steps: insert the ignition key into the ignition lock. Leave it in the 0 or i position. Push and hold the sel/reset knob (on the instrument panel by the fuel gauge), or the sel/reset button on the right hand of the steering wheel below the multi-information display info button.

Unhook the battery March 12, 2022
Unhook the battery for 20 min and hook it back up. This reboots the system. If this fixes the problem your good. If not see what systems remain offline and address each one.

Just had this issue. No instrument cluster. Could not shut off radio or change volume. No turn signals. I disconnected the battery for two minutes and now all is working again.

I replaced the instrument cluster in my 2008 F-150, on 07.19.22. The fulling day it became inoperable along with the AC. Which worked but stopped blowing cold, Power windows, and sunroof. The fix, after four hours of riding a rounding in 80 plus degrees looking for a 30 A 14V breaker, was to unhook the positive battery cable for 10 minutes. Not sure why-or what happened, the battery cable was a tiny bit loose. Well, hopefully its not a recurring issues. Thank you,
