A Chevy 1500 rear bumper will fit a 2500 bumper. The holes that are used to attach it to the vehicle are the same, so You use the same bolts and tools. The only real difference is that the plastic guard on 2500 is larger than the other, but this is more cosmetic than anything else.

The chevy 1500 rear bumper and the 2500 rear bumper are interchangeable, the only real difference is larger plastic on the 2500.

Everything works The rear Brackets only thing that won't work 1500 and 2500 brackets different because they have body lift on 2500 1500 brackets lower way down.
