MDX best SUV on the market
Well built, won safety awards, accelerates quickly, very comfortable ride, room for 7 (although the 3rd row seat would be cramped for adults). Comes with built in TV and Bluetooth, leather seats, and heated front seats, rear controls for a/c & heat in the back seats. Has surround speakers. Seats fold down for cargo. Gets good gas mileage for an SUV. LOVE my MDX!

What a LEMON
II purchased this vehicle about six months ago and I’ve had nothing but problems. For starters I found out I had a blown head gasket with 162,000 miles on it, Then I took it to a mechanic and asked him to check my battery, and after diagnosing my battery he said that my battery and my alternator were good but my battery wouldn’t hold charge. This is when my real nightmare started! After spending countless hours on the web I come to find out that something, could be audio system, Bluetooth, door locks, fuses, ETC, (none of which are inexpensive fixes) was drawing amps off the battery. Every time I went to start the car I just prayed that it would start, about 1/2 the time it wouldn’t. Come to find out that ACURA knew about this electrical problem but wouldn’t put out a recall! Also the gas mileage is terrible and with the fact that you have to put in premium gas just makes it that much worse. On the positive side… This MDX is a beast in snow! Also, the interior has an incredible amount of room and has a lot of extras in it.

What a LEMON
Bought a lemon ! Since I purchased this vehicle 6 months ago I’ve had nothing but problem after problem. First, found out it had a blown head gasket w/162,000 miles on it. I was told it could be one of multiple things from the fuses, audio system, Bluetooth, door locks, ETC... None of which are inexpensive. The icing on the cake is the gas mileage. Wow does this thing s**k gas then you add in that it only take premium gas it makes it worse. To end on a positive note... This MDX is a beast in the snow and has an awesome amount of interior room

The problems of the car are non existent, it runs smoothly and it is very comfortable and I would recommend it for other Acura buyers. The car is very reliable, it is simple as getting you from point A to point B. It also includes a built in TV for those family road trips.

I really love my vehicle. It looks smaller than it is.
I love the fact that a tank of gas carry me along way. I traveled 1250 miles and only refilled my tank once. It's very spacious and roomy. I also have a third row for moving big items.. It doesn't need much maintenance, more than routine service. I actually would like to, get the newer model because I am very satisfied with the performance. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be, when driving 70+ miles or more the steering wheel shakes.

I would recommend this to anyone that wants a nice, reliable family car.
My husband and I bought an Acura mdx, about 3 years ago, and have been very satisfied with the consistency of its performance. We have only had to get basic maintenance work done on it, and a few important repairs to the struts and boots and brakes. It has not been overly expensive to keep up with repairs. The sound system inside is very good. I especially like the built in DVD player for the kids, as we like to make long road trips occasionally. The GPS system was not working properly when we bought it, and needed replacing. We mail ordered and installed the GPS system and it had been very useful. There is a rearview camera, that works well, though it is difficult to gauge the distance of object we see in it. This car is comfortable, reliable, and looks good. I'd be likely to buy another Acura in the future.

Great touring SUV for all types of families.
Great package, touring model with leather, navigation, entertainment system including 6 disc CD changer and DVD player with auxiliary ports and headphone jacks. Replaced timing belt, a/c compressor and brakes and tires. All wheel drive with stability control and roof rack.

I love that my vehicle has a third row and can fit 7 people, however the third row stores flat so we have an expansive back storage. I love my heated seats. I also love that the lights come on automatically. I wish that when the third row was up we had move room like we do in our Honda Odyssey.
It drives so smoothly and has a very quiet running on the interior.

It gets 34 miles per gallon. In this economy it is a beautiful thing.
Dependable, stylish, utilitarian? The mdx is aging, but it is the best vehicle I have owned. I am a little disappointed in the cosmetics, but what can you do? Its 14 years old.

My Acura is a smooth reliable and dependable car I have keep up on all its oil and filter as well as belts and tires changes and I havent had any major problems with my Acura mdx. I am planning buying a new Acura in the near future. I am so satisfied with my car I plan to buy another.

Great car for work and for families!
The comfort of this vehicle is the primary feature. It has plenty of room for our family of 4 plus the dog and luggage or plus a couple of friends. The drive is smooth, and it has all the features I need. I added after market Bluetooth to complete what I wanted in a car. We have had no big issues, but we take good care of it maintenance-wise. We have taken this car across the country on long road trips and not had issues. It's versatile with the third row of seats and even my kids can manipulate the mechanisms to put seats up and down. Because it's older, finding accessories can be a challenge, but we eventually find what we need.

Acura mdx- very safe and reliable. High performance qualities in an classy SUV
The mdx is a very reliable car! I have had it for about 6 years now and I have had a few recalls for airbags etc nothing serious. I have not had any major issues with my vehicle since I have owned it besides replacing a few things here and there and tires etc as on any vehicles It drives so smoothly especially for an SUV and has so much room on the inside you never feel cramped even with a full 7 passengers. The 3rd row folds down creating a larger trunk area wonderful for family trips! I always put premium gas in as it states to ensure the best performance out of my SUV. There is a separate ac control for the back seat passengers which is a nice touch. The leather interior and large display on the dash make it more luxurious.

Drives through snow like a dream. I recently drove around a snow plow that was stuck! It is very comfortable, the seats are heated which I appreciate living in a very cold area. Generous space, does not feel cramped. Has third row seating which is convenient. The repair parts for this vehicle are surprisingly affordable.

It is a comfortable luxury vehicle.
I feel like it is a really reliable car up until it hit higher mileage. After the miles got high, there was some problems such as steering, battery, and exhaust. It is a nice comfort car, has good interior. It does not get great gas mileage around 17 mph around town and 23 highway.

It is easy to drive car everything works great there is a lot of room in the trunk and the third row of seats are an amazing feature and I like the sunroof and the speakers are awesome. We have one issue with one of the door locks it is an electrical problem and we have to manually unlock it because it buttons will not do it.

My review about the 2005 Acura mdx.
I like that my car is AWD, allows me to drive safely in different types of terrains. The vehicle handles well and grips well to the road. There is plenty of space for long car rides. Plenty of space with the 3rd row seat. There are very little blind spots which makes for easy driving.

This car is wonderful. Super reliable, super comfortable. Excellent performance. Not too terrible of gas mileage, about 20 miles a gallon. Not bad for a 2005 car. Have only had a little bit of problems with the alternator and the battery going out on the same day but that comes with having an old car.

The Acura MDX is a well made, vehicle that is reliable, drives well, and that I trust to keep me going and keep me safe.
We bought the MDX because we liked the reliability of the brand and the fact that it drives more car-like than truck-like. It has had some minor issues, but overall we are very happy with the car, its performance and reliability, as well as the versatility of carrying 7 passengers or putting seats down to carry cargo.

Gas is expensive, and this car gets bad gas mileage.
I really like the vehicle as a whole. It's spacious, comfortable and drives well. My only complaint is the gas mileage. It is also expensive to maintain. The owner's manual also recommends you use premium gas, which is of course more expensive the regular gas.

I call my car little beast.
Love my car it is durable and reliable. Very spacious for large families and comfortable. Problems that I have had was manufacturers recalls which were taken care of quick and accurate. Leather seats which driver and passenger have heated seats. Sunroof, a/c and rear window defrost.

Acura MDX 2005 really great SUV
I love my vehicle it performs really well in all conditions rain, snow,you name it it's great. It's very comfortable no problems with it. Really good in gas even do its a v6. The only thing I have replace its the alternator and the radiator other than that for the miles that it have 155,000 miles rides like new.

Reliable teenage car for students.
I love the leather interior that has maintained great condition over the years. My car is great on gas and continues to drive smoothly. I do not have an AUX player or phone connected which is a set back. But overall this car is very reliable and helps me drive long distances every weekend.

It is great on gas, leather seats are super nice, design is very safe for teen drivers to use. The drive is very smooth with no noise coming from engine even if it is old. Works like a new car. The radio is very loud and clear with portable charging station and a CD player. It shows you how many miles 'till empty you have.

Gas mileage is only about 16 in the city and 21 highway. I love the look of the interior and the features it has. Mine seats 7 people and it really feels like a great amount of room on the inside.

A durable, comfortable car that feels safe in all weather conditions.
Even after a t-bone collision to the passenger side of the car, my vehicle works amazingly, and did a wonderful job protecting everyone inside. It runs well, is comfortable for long car rides, and the built in gps is a huge bonus. It's survived many cross country trips in its lifetime, and I'm looking forward to many more!

The right turn signal is very helpful.
I love that my car gets me from place to place. It can also seat 7 people which I enjoy when I need to transport lots of people. One feature I do not like is the air conditioning is a little to strong for my liking and I feel like it is always blowing on me.

Good vehicle, reliable, and sturdy.
Had to get motor replaced around 170, 000 miles. Its sturdy, quiet, fairly reliable. I feel safe letting my 16 year old drive it. I got rear-ended a few weeks ago, the person wasn't going fast so it wasn't a hard collision, but it just scratches the paint a little. I expected my bumper to be falling off. My vehicles holds up well. It wasn't what I wanted, but I am glad to have it now.

The Acura MDX will last you a while. It's been in my family for 14 years, and hasn't needed any major fixes

Acura is a great family car
Acura is a trusted brand. My family had a choice of Acura or Honda. The Acura had more room. It's more comfortable. By chance we liked the color of the Acura better. The Acura has a sunroof which is very nice. I like the way the Acura drives. We have two children ages 1 and 2.5. It's very easy to put our children in the vehicle. It's also room for our children on longer road trips.

It's held up quite well over the years, but now it's starting to break down. The dashboard sometimes freezes so I can't get AC or radio. It still drives well. Not many complaints.

Great features and remarkable wishbone suspension.
Overall I love my Acura mdx. It is my 3rd Acura. The best things are the luxury class features such as stereo, leather seats, heated seats, defrost on side mirrors. The very best feature is the wishbone suspension! No matter how old it gets it drives like a brand new car. Fortunately there are few repairs because they are pricey. The worst is the $1000 timing chain maintenance at 108, 000 miles and also Honda motor corporation cannot make a window motor or door lock worth 15 cents. They all break well under 100, 000 miles. I have replaced window motors twice on one side. Overall they are quality fun to drive, long lasting cars.
