The Audi is a luxury car for a reason. The car runs extremely well and has all the bells and whistles you would want in a luxury car. The only issue with having a luxury vehicle like the Audi q5 is the maintenance. Oil changes are more pricy because you need better oil. Brake pads are crazy expensive because mechanics recommend changing the routers and they have to change a wire in the brake pads as well. Regardless it is a great car that does not have issues ever.

Average performance. The sleek design of the Audi q5 is without peer, however performance and comfort in driving is equal to a non luxury brand. Taking sharp turns feels precarious. Mpg is 17 mpg, average for a compact SUV. The speed and acceleration is equal to a ford.

Sporty and luxurious ride with good looks
I do maintence when I am supposed to. I have not had any mechanical issues and the car is at 52,000 miles. Very reliable in snow with AWD. Has a techy and luxurious interior. 2 liter turbo isn’t a monster, but it gets the job done when you need it. I appreciate the good gas mileage.

The q5 is a car I would recommend to anyone!
My Audi q5 is great for road trips and everyday use. Other than a nail in a tire, I have not had any issues with this vehicle. It is very comfortable and reliable. Also, the engine is surprisingly quiet compared to my last car. Overall this car is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone who is able to buy it. The computer of the car is very user friendly, however the navigation feature could use some work.

For a 2016 vehicle, the q5 is outdated especially compared to the 2016 q3.
Mostly comfort features. The car is 2016, but does not have a backup camera, an updated front console for. Media, seats are not automatic memory, no storage in front for a phone/cup holder. Aside from that the car is 4wd and drives very well has a moonroof and is aesthetically pleasing.

The moonroof raffles but the service and quality is superb. Affordable luxury. I wish though it had apple carplay and a touch screen and I would expect that from a luxury brand. Also updating software is expensive and should be cheaper. Definitely get the insurance/extended warranty.

Not simple, to high maintenance.
This car is not a all user friendly. The doors are heavy so with kids it gets very annoying very quickly. The drive is smooth but nothing amazing. I have had to take the car into the dealership multiple times to fix things even though I take the car regularly to service. In car dialing works with a dial instead of keypad and it is very time consuming to use.

My opinion on the Audi q5.
The breaks made this loud squeaky noise when they need to be looked at and I wish I had some more space on the inside. It is a really good car otherwise. It gets about 28 mph and even though the gas has to be premium, it is worth the extra money. 9.5/10 because the air conditioning vents do not blow very much air.

Switching from jeep to Audi.
The ride is very smooth and quiet. The lumbar/seat adjustments for the driver are very important to me. It handles well in the snow. I like the alert light for cars that are in your blind spot. The only downfall was it took a bit to learn how to navigate using the scroll button.

2016 Audi Q5: Fun, sporty, perfectly sized miniature SUV
This is my first Audi, and most likely NOT my last. I am 24 years old and have had 4 cars and have found my favorite so far. There are many things that I like about my 2016 Audi Q5. It looks sporty. It is the perfect size for me and my dog, and other belongings. It has no problem giving my life a little speed. Gadgets are fairly easy to use once you get used to them.

It is a great car. Very reliable and rarely needs serviced, but when it does it can get expensive. I have had it for a little over a year now and my only complaint is that this model does not come equipped with a backup camera. For the price, I think it was a good deal for the mileage.

Audi q5 premium model 2016 feedback with pros and cons of the bells and whistles.
Overall the q5 is a great vehicle but I do not like that it requires premium fuel. It has decent fuel efficiency for an SUV vehicle and the turbo engine allows for quick 'get-up-and-go'. The leather heated seats are nice and the dual controlled air conditioning and heating is great. My vehicle does not come with a back-up camera which is a downside but my multi-media interface for radio and other media is fantastic. It includes a DVD player and two SD card slots for additional music or movies to be played. The glass top ceiling is a nice feature as well. The battery is located in the trunk as opposed to the front hood.

Understated luxury - sporty driving experience.
Fantastic car - understated luxury. Great engine responsiveness and it feels safe driving. Have the current 2016 model since roughly 2 years without any issues or concerns. Interior is great quality, ac works well (live in hi) and the sound system is amazing - would not want to step down from this. Even at higher speeds engine/ car does not become noisy. Would buy this car again and plan to get a newer model hopefully next year.

I love the comfort, reliability has been great, I love the way it looks as well as the way it performs. I have just done routine maintenance on the car and not much more outside of regular spark plugs, filters, tires, brakes and such. The size of the car is also very manageable but I have found that you can pack the car more than I expected.

Amazing except reliability.
Honestly, I had higher expectations with this car because Audi has a really reputable brand name. The design of the car, both interior and exterior, are really nice-looking. The Drivability is good. It is. A German made car I believe so there are a lot of features you wouldn't see in traditional American cars (cigarette holders for example) but it is nothing negative. There are a lot of features you wouldn't see in lower quality car brands like seat coolers in the front seats, seat warmers in the front and back, great temperature control, etc. But what really bothers me about the vehicle is it is reliability, durability, etc. The car is constantly 'breaking' in one way or another, and repairs for it are not cheap.

What I don't like about my Audi Q5
Not enough storage space in the dash area. I find it hard to keep things up front and close where I need them. Also the space between the seats and center console is hard to fish things out of when they fall down. Other thing is I have yet to use all the technology to its full capacity since it isn't super easy to do so and sometimes the radio has to reset itself for some reason which is very odd

It is a sporty luxury performance car option.
I like the sporty look, the performance and power especially the all wheel drive. I wish the seats were more comfortable for long drives and the GPS was easier to use with the voice options. There is also a possibility of accidentally locking yourself out of the car with the fob inside and the cars running.

My car is a very nice car, but for it to be priced as a luxury car is not correct in my opinion. It is a 2016, but all media features are outdated and difficult to use. The seats need to be adjusted manually. The ac unit is awful. My partners care is older/cheaper but updated in all these areas.

Very comfortable, but beware of blind spot.
Very comfortable, smooth ride, good handling. The controllers and dashboard is sleek and easy to use. However there is a large and dangerous blind spot on the drivers side. Before turning left, you must lean forward quite a bit so you can see beyond the frame of the windshield.

2016 Audi q5 review - love it!
I love everything about my q5! It is sleek and elegant in appearance. It is very comfortable inside. The leather seats are also heated which is wonderful in the winter and also feels nice when you have a backache! Climate control is a great feature and means the car always feels exactly the temperature that you like. The digital controls are easy to manipulate, and having built in Bluetooth capability makes listening to music from my phone a breeze. Maybe my favorite feature is the huge panoramic sunroof which also features a retractable sun screen! I am extremely happy with my purchase!

We bought it used, but haven't had any mechanical issues. We like the keyless start feature. The entertainment system is not terribly user friendly, but the sound is good.

The vehicle is good for long distances, but does need a certain type of gas that can only be found at certain gas stations, which can make it difficult when you need to fill the tank. Compact SUV with nice extras.
It rides well so it is easy to speed in it. I wish it had remote start and steering wheel heater. Otherwise, it is a very nice looking car and performs well. I have had to replace an a/c fan motor in it after more than 80k miles, but so far that is it. I have got leather seats that are easy to clean, they fold down in the back to get larger items into the trunk. The spare tire situation is strange though, I am not sure how to change it. I was told if it went flat roadside to just call someone to fix it.

Audi q5 is an amazing car, drives smooth, has a great sound system. The trunk has a great feature where it hides the items in the back when you put the door down. When the car is locked it puts the side mirrors in so they will not get banged up. The car is keyless start meaning you just push a button to turn on.

Steering wheel and tuner radio check!
The vehicle drives well. One feature that I do not like is the radio steering wheel control. When the radio is in the favorites section, you cannot see the name of the song or control what station you would like to change to from the steering wheel. The tuner to choose a radio station is also something that is uncomfortable to control while operating.

It's a really good car but needs more features in it.
The vehicle was very efficient in gas, mileage, and battery power. It is the best car I've ever owned in forever. Still have it 2 years later. Everyone should get one now before it's gone. But it's hard to clean up on the inside at times. If there was a portable vacuum in there, it would be much better.

Reliability: I have had so many problems. I m always at the dealership. Without the protection plan, which I pay a fortune for monthly, I'd be paying a large fortune. Also the features are outdated for a 2016. Just behind the curve for a limited edition top of the line vehicle.

I like the warning lights on the wing mirrors.
This vehicle has very few no issues. Drives well is very comfortable, acceleration can be sharp. I have difficulty with the voice activated navigation but that could be due to my accent. The tires that came on the vehicle are supposed to be snow and mud tires. I will replace them next winter with all season tires as I felt the road holding in poor weather was not as good as I had expected. Over all I am very pleased with this car and would certainly buy again.

My favorite addition is the panoramic moonroof.
No problems as of yet. This is my second Audi to own and I love them. They ride extremely smooth and you really get your money’s worth with details and features. The bigger engine is a nice edition and it has extra features such as a panoramic moon / sunroof, heated seats, navigation and backup camera and Bluetooth capabilities. I looked at several. Other luxury SUVs including Mercedes, Infiniti, BMW and land rover and none of them offered the same comfort and extra amenities for the price as the Audi did.

Bug machine
Considering this model has been made for 8 years there shouldn't be so many bugs with the system. Dashboard and screen will be blank when starting vehicle or goes blank. Have to turn off car and most of the time restarting it resolves it. Door handle sensors detecting key fails frequently. The entire system has been replaced and new system reprogrammed and now working more reliable. Engine overheats for no reason to be found occasionally leaving you stranded. Brakes squeal very loud, even when new. Replaced with a different brake but less than a year later had a$1700 brake job needed. It's just a very buggy vehicle that was never improved upon in the 8 years.

It shifts hard, it is kind of slow. Overall it is an ok car but it could handle better. The brakes should be better. Steering should be tighter. The transmission in sport mode should drive more smoothly. I think it should have more pick up on the passing gear as well.

Audi cars require high maintenance which can be difficult to cover.
With an Audi it requires a lot of maintenance. I am currently a college student and when there is something wrong with my car, it takes a lot of energy and money to fix it. Especially, with having loans and paying gas for my car for the distance, the amount of money to fix it can be a real pain. The model seems to always show there is a problem and as someone who does not know a lot about cars it can be extremely frustrating at times too.

It doesn't have the newer models carplay features which is kind of annoying but it is okay. Otherwise, I have used it every year and put on about 10k miles a year and it has performed perfectly. I moved to Chicago for 2 years and it survived the winter there and does amazing in California as well. It is super comfortable, I can pack a ton of stuff in the back even if I have a full car of people. The technology is good especially for music/Bluetooth/navigation.

Squeaky brakes, accelerates nicely but not a supercharged vehicle, so far is reliable, comfortable, smooth ride, big trunk and can put the seats down if needed for more room. Sound system is nice. Sturdy vehicle that is an SUV but on the smaller side. I feel safe.

Audi q5 - economical luxury.
This is the favorite car of all that I have owned. I love the way it handles and the quietness of the ride. I have had zero problems with it over the four years of ownership. Controls are located conveniently and are responsive. Sound quality of stereo/radio is great. It has impressive gas mileage. It rides and drives very smoothly and performs well in adverse climate conditions.

I think one of the best cars ever, really comfortable and smooth to drive with lot of features and of course a durable car. I have noticed one slight problem which is the seating capacity which is just 5 which I believe should be expanded to 7 with some adjustments.

Audi q5 is extremely comfortable and reliable.
It is extremely comfortable, very low maintenance. Audi service is incredible. It has a very smooth and enjoyable ride. It is attractive and fun to drive. I enjoy features such as the moon roof, navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity. I have had zero issues with this car.

Great drive! Great comfort and quiet engine.
The car is very comfortable and the engine is essentially silent which makes for smooth driving and more peace of mind. The vehicle does inform you when work needs to be done on it. My vehicle does not have a reverse camera so it is a bit more inconvenient to reverse, but does not affect the drivability of the car.

Love my q5 5 years later and 65000 miles in.
The Audi q5 has been very reliable. I have not had any issues. The only repairs have been done to factory recalls and routine maintenance. The vehicle gets excellent gas mileage, handles well in all conditions due to the quattro system. I could not be happier.

All around great car with one minor flaw.
I haven't had many serious problems with the car itself, mainly just tires. It is super comfortable, easy to drive and navigate. The trunk has ample storage, although may be tight for a family of four. The only thing I would modify is the knob that allows you to change your light settings, as in “auto”, “fog”, “lowlights” “off” etc. Its to the left of the steering wheel and my knee has bumped it to the off position a few times without realizing.

Great for winter driving...
The Audi q5 handles wonderfully in snowy conditions. This was my main influencer for buying it as I wanted something safe and reliable for winter. It has a very smooth ride and handles like a sports car with the space of an SUV. There is plenty of legroom. My brother (6'4') can fit comfortably in the back seat. My biggest complaint is for my model. There is no aux/charging jack. You can play your own device through Bluetooth. My previous vehicle (2015 rav4) had a USB port and I wish this one did as well.

My car has a backup camera and a built in assistant.
My car is beautiful and reliable, it looks nice and functions nice. I have never been in any accidents, it is expensive but worth it. My car has leather seats and the windows are tinted. The exterior color is a gorgeous glossy black and it looks so sharp.

Great car with excellent performance.
Excellent vehicle with very comfortable ride. The 3. 0t has great handling and above average acceleration for the size of the vehicle. Sound system is clear and allows you to adjust the surround Focus of the speakers as well. I haven't had any major issues with the performance or the mechanics of the Audi q5.

It is a smooth ride with lots of pickup.
The mirrors are too big, cannot see out when I turn left. Radio turns on louder than I had it on when I get back in car and turn it on. The door beeps extremely too loud. It is obnoxious. It very is comfortable and reliable. It is roomy enough for what I need.

From the city to farmland, the q5 is the best for me.
There is no USB input for charging devices but otherwise I love everything about this vehicle. It is comfortable and I typically get very good gas mileage for my long commute to work. The seats fold down in the back, leaving plenty of space for moving large items (or chauffeuring a few four-legged friends). The roof rack was easy for me to install myself (and I am only 5'3") and I use it all the time for transporting my paddle board. The leather is easy to clean - I use a cover in the back seats so my dog does not scratch the leather or shed all over - and it has stayed relatively clean with little effort. I drove my q5 while living in the back bay of Boston and now in rural NH, and it is versatile and dependable in both environments.

This vehicle is very road trip capable.
This vehicle has many pros, but also a few cons. The gas mileage for an compact SUV is decent. I get and average of about 29 mpg. The turbo on the car is great when is kicks in and really pulls you for a SUV, but it does have a lag to it. The throttle response is not the greatest on this car. Also, when you put the car in reverse it also has a bit of lag time to it. So, when you are trying to parallel park quickly, it take a bit more time to do. The tech on the car is great for how much I use it for. It needs a little bit of updating since it doesn't have apple carplay or android auto, but it still functions very well. The best part for me when it comes to the tech is the full panoramic roof. So far the car has been very reliable. If you also have the right tools to do so, maintenance on the car is fairly easy to do on your own.

Overall: Audi q5 great car.
The car goes through tires very quickly but overall it has been a great car. I love having an SUV. It has only required a couple mechanical fixes that were all under $1,000.00. I wish the 2016, which is not old, came with a better dashboard. It seems very outdated for the year of car.
