BMW m235i, a fast nimble BMW coupe at a fair price.
Never had any major problems for over 40k miles only normal maintenance. Powerful and comfortable it is a great car that has great handling. Has keyless entry and push button start which is great because I never have to take the key out of my pocket. Also mine has the harmon kardon upgraded speaker system which provides very good audio quality.

This car is all class and will hold resale value when the time comes to upgrade.
Love this car, its a two door, but 4 seater. The trunk has good room for a small car. Lots of power and good gas mileage. Has run flat tires that eliminates a blow out at high mph and can drive to get repair. The convertible is electric and easily operated. Corners exceptionally and holds cruising speed well.

Life with my BMW is great. I wouldn't choose anything else. Love it.
To be honest it is a great car. It does not take too much gas and it is very comfortable also adjustable. I like how I can start it and have the air conditioner running before I get in the car which is very useful during the hot and humid days in my state.

The most fun I have had driving.
I love that my car has adjustable seat bolsters and push button start. It is low maintenance and reliable and fun to drive. Although it is a small car I feel like I still have plenty of room. The BMW dealership has been very helpful whenever there has been a question about my car.

The BMW 235xi is an absolute joy to own and drive!!
I simply love my 2016 BMW 235xi!! It is very fun to drive. After years of owning "family cars", it was different and exciting to buy a new 2-door sports coupe, but I have been very satisfied with my purchase. I have owned a BMW before, and so I was familiar with the quality and reliability of their vehicles. Everything has exceeded my already high expectations!!

BMW are not reliable they will always break on you.
Gas gauge leak, transmission failure, ac no longer blows cold air. Car does not drive smoothly and there is always a problem that needs to be fixed. Have that car for less than a year. Very small not enough space in the vehicle the tires are overly priced to buy and it is not worth the money.

The car is okay but would not recommend.
I do not prefer all the high tech savvy cars. The BMW I have has too many little features j do not care for and has come to be irritating. Many things I am the BMW requires knowledge on how to work the electronic system. I do not like that the car turns off every time I get out of it. The leather seats also get really hot.

Love the color white. Just a few scratches.
Many miles more to come, does not waste gas as fast, brakes are starting a problem. Replacing mirrors and lights constantly every other week. Diesel works best for all occasions and warm up car before I leave. No electricity booster available for this model.

Inside of the car looks brand new and light are customized to be blue.
It is secondhand and needs the brakes and other things fixed. The pain is chipping a little near the front of the car where the headlights are and the paint is black. The engine needs a little fixing as well and the back of the car has a few scratches due to car accident.

Good performance but expensive to upkeep.
The car is great for performance. The car hugs the curves and has really good handling. Although the car does not have much horsepower, it can accelerate fairly quickly due to the size and turbo. Very expensive to upkeep - maintenance and parts can be a hassle to find and replace. Seems to require much more upkeep than other cars I have had.

I love that I can listen to music with my iPhone, it is something that really we.
My vehicle has been in the workshop for about at least three to four times, but at the end of the end I can definitely say that I am thankful to be having a vehicle to drive with. I have this vehicle for 4 years. The reason my vehicle has been in the ship was because of the electrical problems but after all it does work really well.

50 miles per gallon is amazing.
It is a BMW, that is from 2016 and is a serious. It is black and very good in most ways. It gets about 50 miles per gallon, which for $2 a gallon definitely isn't the worse to pay for and although expensive overall, it makes it worth it not only for the gas mileage, but because of how smoothly the car also runs.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Douglas W.

Very good quality, very good size and well built. The reputation of BMW is they stand by what they sell. The options on the current market does not support a better product and there are few alternatives in size and quality to the BMW 228I.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Douglas W.

I have few cons with this vehicle. The electronic transmission has a learning curve to be able to master, but the savings in gas and mechanical wear and tear, make the electronic transmission well worth the time to learn.

How Reliable Is The 2016 BMW 2 Series?

I haven't had any problems with my car at all. I drove it for two hours and there were no issues. I can fit a lot of items in the car, and do not have to fill up gas too often.

Is The 2016 BMW 2 Series A Good Value?

It depends if you buy it new or used. Ours was on a ridiculous sale when we bought it and had super low mileage for a car that was several years old. For us it was a bargain we couldn't pass up.
Susan R.
I do not remember exactly how much the car costed since I am leasing it for a few years. But for what I paid for the lease it seems like good value for what I got.
