The car is more expensive than other comparable options, but you get a premium vehicle for those premium costs.
2013 BMW 3 Series
I like the feel and drive of a luxury car over my last car (2010 ford focus), it makes a noticeable difference in ride quality. The cabin aesthetics and internal components are also higher quality - you can't hear pieces rattling from slamming the doors, playing music loudly, or rough roadways. I love having a sunroof because I really like natural light. The engine is lively and you can feel the torque produced from the turbo charged 4-cylinder. It's fun to drive. However, the car is expensive. I've replaced 2 tires in the past 9 months and they are not cheap. They have to be run flat tires since BMW doesn't supply spares. The vehicle also requires premium gas and more insurance coverage (and costs). My warranty covers mechanical failures, but regular maintenance is expensive by itself.
