Energy efficient - “shuts off” when stopped. Do not hear engine at red lights.
I get low tire pressure regularly but not sure if that is a matter of the model. I bought her used with 30,000 miles. Leather seats get hot in the summer and sometimes takes a while to cool down. My key (electric) does not work anymore so I have to lock and unlock and start the car manually. Other than that she runs very well and is comfortable.

Love - hate tails of my BMW.
Problems is fog/mist in the fog lights. They charge extra for digital display. Performance is outstanding. Never broke down, so reliability is off the charts as well. Features could be better compared with cars from same segment like Audi or GMC. Comfort wise it is pretty average but hey it's the driving pleasure what I am after.

Light, efficient,fast,cool.
It drives and very nicely I like it so much. It goes vroom and I go places. I wish it had more cup holders. But that is ok. Also it smells funky. But it looks just so amazing and good that I love it. I think the heated seats are the best part though they get hot.

Very comfortable and Great color!
This vehicle has the get up and go that I enjoy during my daily commute. The seating makes it a more comfortable ride along with the temperature control, adjustable seats. I love the Orange color because the vehicle stands out from others, but I can still find accessories to match the color. The one problem that is a bit aggravating is the phone connectivity via Bluetooth or USB. I have not been able to get my phone to reconnect via Bluetooth and there are times when my phone is connected via USB, that the music playback skips as if my phone is an old style CD player.

The overall look of this car is very chic but it is got great utility.
The car drives effortlessly. It is stylish. Easy to maneuver. It has a great audio system. Unfortunately it does not have Bluetooth or a GPS monitor. However I have driven it up and down the country, numerous times and have always felt comfortable and safe in my vehicle.

It is very reliable. Very comfortable for trips.
Bought this car slightly used. . Had been a loaner car. . . And it has been very reliable. Other than servicing it on a regular basis we have had no problems with the car at all. It gets good mileage for a sporty car. Love the car and hate that they have stopped making this engine in this car.

Love my BMW-- Great fun to dive.
Everything is covered until warranty runs out. Great to drive, lots of pickup, feels like it's hugging the road. Parts are expensive once the warranty is done. Very reliable!

BMW X1 is unreliable with costly repairs and maintenance
I feel like it has constantly been falling apart. I do not drive this vehicle hard and it seems like there's always an issue and the repairs cost an astronomical amount of money. Any service as expected with a high-end vehicle should be done at the dealership and you have to be willing to pay that price. However it is a flashy car and I do love the turbo. It is comfortable in the front seats but there is no realistic way of having passengers in the backseat. It does have a nice amount of trunk space and I do appreciate that I can lay the rear seats down. It is definitely a singles car and not a family car in my opinion.

Great Starter Car for first time drivers
It performs well but has had start up issues over the years. Overall, I have enjoyed it because it is very convenient with everything I am in need of. It is a very reliable vehicle and definitely a great starter car. I'm hoping to keep it for a few more years and most likely change it out for a newer model.

The overall car size allows for me to be able to get suitable parking in rush hour
The overall storage capacity in the car is not efficient and has very limited trunk space

2013 BMW review and reliability.
Very durable and reliable. Hardly breaks down but when it does it is expensive. Good enough. Very happy with it. Love BMW and will continue to drive them as I have all my life. Looking to purchase a newer model soon mine is getting kind of old. Overall very good.

Great family car not too much power not too impressive either.
Vehicle drives good, can be a gas guzzler without the economic option. Definitely feels like a family vehicle however has reserve power in situations that need it. Reliable car would definitely recommend it for a small family. Leather seats make it very comfortable.

Is The 2013 BMW X1 A Good Car?

Yes, it is reliable but oil changes and servicing is a bit pricey if going to the dealer. I have only have minor electrical problems.

Electrical which I thought was a fuse because it had to do with the interior lights otherwise mechanically no problems.
