Why the new BMW series is a great buy for anyone looking for a smart car.
My car is a smart car and it is really amazing to use and drive around in. The seats are highly comfortable because you have the option to have the warmers on during the colder temperatures. Also because it is a smart car, you also have access to the Bluetooth features and the installed GPS system which is great for travel and helps with safety precautions. Another thing I love about it is that the system also has a camera view for you so when you are parking, you have the option to actually see behind you, before you park and or hit something that you may not have been able to catch in the rear view mirrors these days. My car definitely helps with the blind spot issues other cars companies are just now catching up to. It makes me feel safe as a driver and yet comfortable in the responsibility of the car. I will say that one should be careful with buying a car such as this one though. The reason being is because when you press on the gas or brake pedal, it is a very easy press. I would be careful with pressing down so easily or so hard when driving. Especially when driving on the interstate or other main highways in your area, you could potentially ruin the tires of your car by breaking too hard, or with the other way around, you could lay on the gas too hard as well. The ac and the heat go well if not perfectly with the colder climates. Just put on the proper tires for the weather and your good to go. It is a warming kind of car, so it can get really hot quickly in the winter time. I prefer the seat warmers because they are individual that way no one has to complain about it being too warm or too cold. You have the option for yourself and I like that very much without all the arguing from friends and family.

The Awesome BMW Model X5!
I love this car so much!! It drives very smoothly, and it doesn't feel plastic-y like some vehicles, you can really feel the sturdiness of the car. The console is very clean and tidy, and I feel safe in the car. There is a shade for privacy in the trunk too which is awesome!

Reliable, safe, excellent mileage.
This is our 2nd x5 diesel. Both have been trouble free. Mileage is much better than projected. Highway mpg is 35-37 depending on terrain. Same for previous x5. Diesel prices average 10% higher in FL, but mileage is 60-80% better than v8 gasoline. No brainer since torque is similar. The one thing I would like to see with BMW is weather radar/ability to access iPhone apps for such via LTE networks. BMW says that is coming. X5 is adequate in size, bigger families may wait for the x7. This has been a superior vehicle and rides better than our ml series did. Yes, we will continue to buy the x5 diesel.

In government crash tests, the x5 received five out of five stars for overall, front and side crash protection, and four stars for rollover protection. The x5 model delivers the best combination of performance and efficiency. The BMW x5 is an outstanding car, with the exception that it can consume a lot of gas if you are not driving in the eco mode. Really enjoy the heads up display feature. Note- polarized sunglasses disable visibility of the HUD. The safety features and comforts this vehicle offer are bar none. I love the steering wheel vibration, the animal/people visual alerts and the distance monitoring when the cruise control is set. It does take a while to get used to the auto stop safety feature (to protect against front impact collision) when another driver cuts you off. Big surprise when you aren't expecting it!! Awesome once you realize what happened but a big shocker when the car is in control not you!!

Even when you take the BMW x5 to higher speeds, it remains consistently steady on its feet. If you opt for the active steering features, the x5 will perform flawlessly at higher speeds, which is where the vehicle seems to thrive the most. Of course, the x5 handles lower speeds just as well and is easy to navigate around on crowded city streets and through cramped parking lots.

BMW x5 35d - bring back the diesel!
No issues. Make sure you maintain it and it will treat you well. Oil changes every 5k miles, fuel filter, particulate filters, etc. The 35d is the best way to go, amazing at towing, biggest drives (30 mpg) and all around driving comfort. Newer display is a nice improvement from the last one.

Totally worth the investment!
It drives so smooth. Really makes me feel the level of luxury that I am paying for. Maintenance is so important with this car, though. Never miss any needed services! So comfortable and reliable. I love the larger SUV because it makes me feel safe as well.

The car does require more filling up due to a bigger engine.
I love how the car drives and handles. Seats are comfortable and the car is roomy. The moon roof allows for a lot of light.

BMW x5 excellent family car.
The car is dependable, fast and safe. The extra features like heated seats and inlay are phenomenal. I love the automatic wipers that sense the rain, it is fantastic! There is ample trunk space for strollers and groceries. I like the ability to change the car performance, sport, comfort or economy.

My x5 has been extremely reliable. I had one headlight issue, but the dealership was amazing about fixing and provided a rental.

Good car for road trips including high elevation its a winner.
No problems just take care of the car in addition you should replace shocks after a year and also you may have a motor mount issue depending on year other than that it's safe fun and fast... Fun features XM radio iPhone comes on screen leather always feels new it's great for a day in sunshine or backroads.

It is a very high fashion car.
It always has lost tire pressure the one right wheel always goes flat. It is a fast car it goes up to 130 mph. It is a shiny gray high car the radio lights up when it gets dark. I have shiny silver rims on my wheel on my car. And I also have tints on mine.

BMW x5 is one of the best car I had ever bought. It has a great gear system. It starts very fast than others vehicles. If you are riding in a BMW you will really feel very comfortable. This car is even better than it was before.
I have had zero issues with my x5 so far. I have been loving it! I have owned a previous year's model. The first thing I immediately noticed was how quiet this car is! The driver's seat is a lot more comfortable, too (although, this depends on customization). This car has a seriously incredible sound system. What I love the most about this car is how reliable the brakes are - they are very responsive.

I really like that the vehicle feels like you're driving a car rather than a big SUV. It has very smooth controls and I enjoy that. The only the i would complain about would be the screen system, it's a little hard to understand.

Amazing car, perfect if you want an adventure.
It is a very reliable and super safe car. On the highway it does not struggle and will speed up to pass with little to no effort, and it will not shake or show any type of struggle or slowing. Overall great car that I strongly recommend looking into or buying.
