Very expensive upkeep of the car.
I love how fast it but hate the maintenance cost of it. It is overall a fantastic car in many ways I think it is a car many people would want to own.

07 Z4 M Roadster ROCKS
After years of having domestic hot rods & numerous project vehicles; I caught the car bug again. My answer is an 07 BMW Z4 M Roadster. This E85 totally takes all that BMW offered back in 06. She’s very nimble & opens up when you pedal it! The naturally aspirated 3.2 liter paired with a 6 speed gearbox makes for a great driving experience. With the top down, she holds her own both in traffic & open roads. The best part is this roadster gives you all the amenities of true sports car & can be maintained with quality with mid-range finances. It’s not cheap bc I’d be lying if I claimed that. Rather, it’s a great running out of the box performance roadster. With mild add ons, good set of tires & steady maintenance; this car I love so much so; rather than consider newer upcoming models... My future purchase will probably be a pre-owned 06-08 Z4 M Coupe! I ♥️ ///M

It's different and even though it looks new, it's 11 years old.
It's unique, and sleek. I can move quickly and I feel safe when I'm driving it. It's a coupe, not a convertible which I LOVE.

It's a cool car. It will s**k up all your money but if you can afford it then it's worth it.
I love the look of the car. Very fast and reliable. The wheels need to be constantly washed because of the brake dust that builds up.

An impressive sports car, but not designed for everyday driving
This car is not a good choice for a primary vehicle. First, it is expensive to operate, maintain, and repair. For example, the headlights must be replaced at a dealership or auto shop. The car requires premium gas. Most frustratingly, the convertible top has a design defect, whereby water gets into the motor, which subsequently fails. This has happened twice for me, and I have refused to have it fixed the second time. The dealership says the labor and parts cost $2400 to repair this issue. Second, the ride is very bumpy, which makes long trips uncomfortable. The seats do not have lumbar adjustments, which compounds this issue. However, for the occasional drive, the car is very fun. The handling is tight, as a sports car should be, and the acceleration is equally impressive.
