The Buick enclave is a luxury ride.
My vehicle has a problem with the power liftgate causing it not to be able to open. It is called a failed latch release. That is the only problem. The performance is outstanding, it has all the bells and whistles with a smooth ride. It also has 3rd row seating which I love.
accountCircle Amy W
It has a lot of legroom , the middle seats recline and slide forward and back
Love that it has 3rd row seating, sunroof and a moonroof. Very family friendly. Can get the kids in and out easily. Lots of legroom

Smooth ride! I love the sunroof and the moon roof!
I have not had any problems. Absolutely love it! I would recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing one. Rides very smooth. Looks beautiful! Can fit the whole family and more with the third row seating. It has proven very reliable and I take it on vacations all the time.

Drives like a dream come true.
My car is fully loaded. It has heated seats and air seats I'drives good. It's very reliable. The seats are comfortable I am short so it lets up enough for me to drive comfortable. Love that it has GPS. We also have TV in there for the kids to enjoy when we go on long trips.

An interesting detail, is the size. It is a good economical size,
My vehicle, is excellent for families, it is spacious, filled with latest technology(airbags, Sirius radio, CD player, seatbelts, good tires, foldable seats, comfortable headrests, ac/heat, 4 door vehicle, not too expensive regarding gas, affordable price. Excellent for a student as well.

My back seats including the third row seat fold down.
My vehicle Is Definitely comfortable, has great seat warmers and rides nicely. For midsize SUV it is pretty good on gas mileage and has always been reliable. We've had to make a few repairs but overall we've really liked it. We've always been a Buick family and thus far this model has been one of our favorites.
accountCircle Laura D
It is attractive and reliable.
The best feature about this vehicle is how roomy it is. It also provides a smooth and comfortable ride. It has Dual seat warmers which is an extra plus in frigid temperatures. I always feel safe when riding in this vehicle.

Worse car I've had in 10 years
I bought the car used from the same dealer I always use. Motor went completely out after 3 weeks. Stayed in the dealership to fix for over a month.Soon after the new motor went completely out on Christmas eve going out of town.. Was in the shop for around 2 months. They couldnt figure it out. Put 2 rebuilt motors in. They had to pay over $7000 for this. Now the ac doesnt work. Crack in the motor mount causing major problems. And 4 different motor lights coming on. They should have stuck to the vortec motor. Dealer said I must have gotten a 2009 motor. And it doesnt get good gas mileage. Mostly 16mpg. I bought it for the looks and amenities. Never had so many problems. Try fixing a cracked battery terminal under the floorboard. Cost a fortune.

GOD ALWAYS COMES THRU
I would NOT recommend this vehicle. I bought it from Carmax(which was my 1st mistake) and I only had this vehicle 1 month and the engine blew...Of course Carmax or Buick would not help at all. Thankfully my Church prayed about it and they felt GOD was telling them to put a motor in it for me...so thank You God, but if it wasn't for Him my credit would've been ruined. So go somewhere else for a different car and a different place.

Unfortunate Lemon Soon to be Replaced
Multiple issues throughout the past several year. Mechanics charge extra to work on it because it is so difficult to get to everything. The transmission is failing and will have to be replaced literally any day now.

Will never purchase another Buick
I have had 4 recalls. I have taken this car in for warranty repair 5 times, and 3 of the 5 times, Buick dealership gave me difficulties in correcting these issues. What is the purpose of a warranty? To date, I have paid $1500 out of pocket for air conditioning issues, that still can not be resolved. I will never buy another Buick because they have not honored their warranty and do not respect customer service.
accountCircle Jordan H
It is constantly in need of repairs, sometimes over and over again.
This car has convinced me to never buy a Buick again. The entire engine had to be replaced around 100k miles. The temperature sensor has been replaced 5 - 6 times and needs replaced again. I believe every part except the seats and steering wheel have been replaced and we have just reached 150k miles. I do like the interior roominess. That is the only thing I will really miss when I eventually replace this car.

It looks more and is comfortable to drive on but has performance issues.
It appears to be defective from the onset, and the reviews are wrong on this car with regards to engine performance, which I have I have seen first hand. The body of the car is more, and the entire id loves not, overall is has underperformed since I purchased the vehicle.

Love the room inside but too many problems. Many repairs have had to be done.
I bought this car 3 years ago and have spent over $10000 in repairs. Every time we spend a tremendous amount of money getting it fixed, something else breaks. It has 119000 miles on it and it's starting to have transmission problems. I have never been so disappointed. The only thing I can say I love about it is the massive amount of room inside.
accountCircle Nick H
Avoid this car if it is used.
While I bought this car used, I have had nothing but problems since I bought it. I have had electrical issues dealing with the cabin fan system and the brake light system. I have also had issues with the cooling system. I am currently dealing with a completely ruined engine due to the burning of oil and the timing chain. This problem is requiring a complete engine replacement. I do not know what this vehicle is like new, but do not get one used. Internet searches showed that I am by no means a rare case. Buy with caution.

Buick has a monopoly on your vehicle.
Buick has a monopoly on the vehicle, where you must take it to the dealer to get certain parts fixed. So in essence, we own a vehicle that someone else has a monopoly on if you need certain parts fixed (air conditioner/heat). It is very expensive to have certain parts replaced. I resent not having the ability to have someone I trust fix what is needed, and I have no respect for a company that will hold its customers hostage in that way.

Buick enclave car review details.
My car is really good for people with a big family. The car is really roomy and has a lot of space of in it. The car is good on gas and it gets me everywhere I need to go. It does not have too many miles on it as well. I have drove from state to state and it is still going fine.

Good family car - lots of space.
I love the luxury feel of the car and all the added bonuses, like the automatic lift gate and automatic window controls. It has lots of storage room when the back 3 seats are laid down. I currently have 3 child car seats in mine with no issues. I do have the captain chairs in the middle, so that helps with getting the children to the back row. I have only had a few minor mechanical issues, and I bought my car used.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Tori S.

Lots of room, quiet engine, dual AC, good handling, great family vehicle, breaks work well, great in town and on the highway. Overall the enclave is very nice vehicle that I would recommend to anyone with a family or if you are just a single person.

The following are the pros of the 2010 Buick Enclave. It is spacious inside, it has good radio system and navigation. We have driven it out of state and in state, and it has been dependable on each trip.

likeFilled Kevin P.

Very comfortable and spacious. Great features and easy to drive. Lots of storage, looks great. Seats are supple. Many safety features. Great for long road trips. Center seats are captain seats with console in the middle giving passengers a nice and comfortable ride.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Tori S.

The navigation system is not great and really is not with using. I always end up using my iPhone when I have to use GPS. The Enclave also seems a little pricey when I purchased it but other than that I love my enclave and there is not much that I do not like about it.

dislikeFilled Mike K.

Below are the cons of the vehicle. The fuel economy is not great, low 20's on the road. Air pressure in the tires has always been a problem, not sure that is due to the car or the tires. Also the rear hatch has given us some problems.

dislikeFilled Kevin P.

The gas mileage for the 2010 Buick enclave is good but it is not so great. I am getting somewhere in the neighborhood of sixteen or so miles for each gallon of gasoline when I am driving in city traffic and low twenties whilst driving on our beautiful highways and byways.

Is The 2010 Buick Enclave A Good Car?

Yes! It is safe and reliable, it gets me where I need to go. I have 4 kids and it fits my family very well. There are airbags all around the car which is a nice safety feature.
Megan H.
I love my enclave. It is very spacious on the inside and I can haul my 2 kids around and all of our stuff. We all feel very safe in it and it is very luxurious. Highly recommend this car!
Lauren G.
Yes it is just required you to keep up on the maintenance and you need to ensure it always has a tune up to prevent any issues to occur otherwise it’ll be just fine
Tara E.

How Reliable Is The 2010 Buick Enclave?

It is reliable! I haven't had any major things wrong besides blower motor slowly going out but nothing too crazy.
Megan H.
Very reliable and have had little to no problems. Just like any car, you need to get checkups and oil changes when due.
Lauren G.
The enclave does have issues with the hatch back if you leave the keys in the car in the ignition and open and close the back hatch it will automatically lock all the doors on the car
Heather F.

Is The 2010 Buick Enclave A Good Value?

I believe we paid around $13,000 which is very good value. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned.
Megan H.
It can cost in the 3500-5000 range. Yes, this car is a good value and if taken care of, driven for a while.
Lauren G.
It cost about $27,000 and it’s not a bad deal for a car that has tons of room and many features that even include the Backup camera and heated seats however it can be an issue
