It is so easy to drive and has many bells and whistles!
I like that it is a SUV, I have never had a SUV. I like its compact size, not too large or not too small. I love the silver color! There is nothing about it that I do not like!

It is stylish and reliable. It is comfortable and has many bells and whistles and is intriguing
I love the color and the shape of the vehicle. I love the color and feel of the interior and it is comfortable and fits me perfectly. It is so reliable too
accountCircle Courtney D
Amazing, nicely sized, efficient, good on gas.
I love my car! It was my first car that I have ever driven and as a new driver I felt as though it was a good size and easy to control. The Bluetooth features work very well as does the ac and heat. The car is smaller so good for small families or a single person. The driver's seat is electric adjustable, the rest are not. There is enough leg room in the back if you are average-tall.

A safe yet stylish compact SUV.
We love our Buick encore. It handles well and has amazing gas mileage. It is small enough for me to feel comfortable driving yet large enough to store much luggage when we travel to visit two of our children who live out of state. It is both stylish and practical and understated yet fashionable. My favorite safety feature is the. Lane change warning lights which enables me to feel safe with my peripheral vision problem. It is the ideal compact SUV for us!

Gas mileage and I hate having to write so many words when it can be said.
I live how easy it is to drive. I love the backup camera. I am disappointed in the storage. The only complaint us that I have to fill in this question.

Buick encore is the car you didn't know you needed...
I absolutely love my Buick encore! I bought it used in 2017, and have had no problems at all with it. My encore is comfortable, with easy to adjust seats. I love how my phone automatically hooks up to Bluetooth, and I honestly have no idea how I functioned without a backup camera before I purchased! It is good on gas mileage, and has a very smooth ride. It is compact size makes it very easy to maneuver and park in crowded areas. Even though it is a small SUV, it has tons of trunk space. I cannot recommend this car highly enough!

Horrible car
Got buick encore for 4 years the engine light cames on and off all the time there is always something going on breaks, had to change baterry its really a headache im sick and tired putting money into this car.i will never get GM brand .

Fantastic interior, great space for size of car.
Really comfortable seats and interior. Gauges are really sporty looking. The seat material is really durable and great looking. This is the smaller SUV, so hatch space is limited, but is more than what it looks like on first glance. Bluetooth is touchy at times, but a small nit at best.

Worst car we ever had
Obviously we like the cars looks. We bought car with 10k miles on it. Turbo went out and was fixed under warranty. At 72k miles warranty was out and turbo went out again. $1200. Then valve in valve cover went out.$230 now it’s drinking oil. Come to find out the rings are shot. So a lil over 70k miles it needs a rebuild on engine. I’ve heard same problems from Chevy owners with the 1.4. Probably same engine. Bypass the 1.4

Nice looking car!! But junk
Honestly biggest pos I ever had. 80k miles and engine needspistons and rings. Have all my documents where oil was changed on time. And GM won’t do anything about it.. Sad!

Buick encores are nothing but issues.
It is not a jeep and ever since I bought the encore it is been nothing but a money guzzler. I have had to replace the tires the brake the gas pump and so much more in just 2 years that I have owned it. I will never buy a Buick again. They are unreliable vehicles and totally not worth the amount of money you pay for them.

Engine Failure at 88,079 miles
I do not recommend this vehicle. I bought the 2015 Buick Encore off the lot. At 88,079 miles on August 29, 2019 the car experienced “internal engine failure, turbo charger failure and complete exhaust system contamination”. Car was a total loss. I did not have the extended warranty and had to buy a new car. Buick Corporate Customer Car did give me $2,000 toward a new car. I never dreamt a 2015 would cease to function when it had proper maintenance at 88,079 miles.

As long as the car was under warranty the dealer was great, once it was out of warranty I am driving a bomb and heading for bankruptcy trying to keep the car running. Do not buy this car from Mossy Motors

Great space and affordable. Bluetooth is nice.
Very reliable and comfortable. It is pretty cheap and dependable. Does not need much changes to as easy to fix. But oil changes are expensive due to using the essential oil. But it is a very good reliable care that stores all the things that you generally need.

It's a beautiful caramel car with black customs seats
It's amazing. The interior is great. The engine is amazing. I've got a lot done to it by adding additional paint and objects to it. The AC blows beautifully. It's GREAT. You'll really love this car and want to drive it any and everywhere. My family and I always go on vacations just to ride in the car.

Not completely satisfied with my Buick encore!
The seats are not comfortable, to the point of having my back hurt at some times. I have had to replace the turbo, ac that quit out of nowhere. There are a lot of blind spots when driving on the road. The back seats are a bit hard to get in and out of.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Shelia D.

Handles great, good gas mileage, looks nice, back seats fold down easily. Would like for back seats to be a little larger. Like the back up camera and how the large windows help see around the vehicle.

likeFilled Veronica G.

It is perfect for a small family or a single person. It is easy to park and easy to drive. The blind spots are minimal, and the rear view camera is very helpful when backing out. The car fits a lot of luggage when the back seats are folded down.

likeFilled Kristin C.

I love the comfort of this car. It gets really good gas mileage and sits up high to be able to get my baby in and out. I also like the way it drives so smooth. The tank is not a huge gas tank, so it does not cost a lot to fill it up.

likeFilled Keri L.

It is a. Ice modem design. Seats are comfortable and it has nice features. It is a small car that drives fast and smooth. I have the blue car which is different and makes a good impression. It feels like a higher end vehicle.

likeFilled Kylie R.

The car is very compact making it easy to maneuver. It has good gas mileage, approximately 25 mpg. It is easy to drive because it is lightweight. It has enough space to store things and to have 4-5 people.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Shelia D.

Would like for the back seats to be a little larger. Would like for the navigation system to be a little more updated. Would prefer a different design for the back storage cover. Would like an armrest for both front seats not just the driver seat.

dislikeFilled Veronica G.

Problems with the AC (I read online other people with this make/model/year have the same problems). The front passenger seat does not have an armrest like the drivers, making it an awkward design. Storage in the front console is small.

dislikeFilled Kristin C.

I do not like the trunk space, it is very small and I can't put much in there. I didn't realize how small the trunk space is until I already bought the car and needed to move something. My husbands Regal has more trunk space.

dislikeFilled Keri L.

There is a lack of storage space in the trunk and it is hard to store a purse or other items when passengers are in the vehicle. The gas tank is small so it takes frequent fill ups. Price was higher but worth the comfort.

dislikeFilled Kylie R.

The tires are thin and pop very easily. I have been through approximately 5 tires in the past 4 years due to how thin they are, by simply hitting a curb. My model is a 4 cylinder so it takes a while to reach high speeds on the highway.

The catalytic converters conked out at 74000 miles but was still covered under the warranty. I do not like the rear window washer button setup.

Is The 2015 Buick Encore A Good Value?

$5,000. I paid cash for the car. It was a used car, but it was like new to me. I would buy this car over if I could. It was worth what I paid for.
Sharess M.
Its ok but it cost to much but the controls are not good on the air conditioner and it use a lot gas..
Mike W.
$16,000 when I purchased it and it had 16,000 miles on it. The trade in value is way less at ~ 12 or 13 grand . I will never purchase a buick again.
Melissa B.
I do not recall the cost of the convenience package but I feel it was well worth what I paid. Since I bought my encore, my husband liked it so much that he bought an encore too.
Diane S.
$13,700 (used) yes it was a good value. I paid exactly what it was appraised at but that was before knowing about the two bad parts
Renee H.
I paid a awesome amount for my Buick. It was. Really good value. Kept me in my budget which was wonderful. I'm looking forward to more years with it
Mal Z.
I think it's a good value for a smaller SUV. I believe what I paid is a reasonable price, which was $13,490.
