At 117,000 miles my car has always been in the shop. Certain things with the evap system that will not go away. Though I do like the car in general I would love to be able to drive it more.

Buick lacrosse two thousand and six.
Reliable, not good on gas, smooth ride. Definitely a luxury car. Drives nice like a Cadillac. I like the interior it is leather. Stereo system is awesome and you are going to love all of the bells and whistles. Headlights and windows are giving me problems. But otherwise it is a nice car.

It is a fuel efficient sedan for its weight and year. I love the speakers. It has some bass on it even though Chevrolet is notorious for their bass and speakers. I love how responsive the back up sensors are.
The performance is great. The brakes stop on a dime and so far I have only had light maintenance work. Only issue I have with it is that it could be faster at jumping from 0 to 60. Other than that, I get great gas miles for a heavy sedan.

Buick lacrosse is a really nice 4 door sedan.
The car drives well and is very quiet when running. Many time I have to check the tach to see if I started it is I get distracted after starting the car. It has great foot room up front and not bad in the back even when the front seat is all the way back. It has a large trunk, electric seats and windows and a rear defroster for the back window. Seats are comfortable with decent lower back support. The ac/heat quickly do their thing as required. The only negatives I can think of is the key ring bob stops working easily and after two replacements, I do without it. The other thing is there is only one lock and with the bob not working you have to open the drivers door to unlock the other doors and trunk.

I love the Buick Lacrosse the body shape I love. The seats are very comfortable and they adjust back and up. It also adjusts to your back. There's cup holders in the front and back. And the air conditioner is really great you can feel it from the front to the back.

Dependable and nice looking car
This has been a dependable car. Most of the repairs on this car have been normal wear and repairs expected when you have had a car for awhile. I love the heated seats in the winter and the roominess as well. The four door model makes it easier for passengers to get in and out and the ride is smooth with little to no noise. This is a great and dependable family vehicle .

I don't have a car payment any more! This car is very comfortable to drive. Friends like when I volunteer to do the driving.
I like my Buick LaCrosse because it is comfortable to drive and ride in. I prefer the window vision available in this older model compared to the newer models. My car has held up quite well for it's age and the costs of upkeep has been reasonable. The gas mileage on this model is comparable to newer models too.

How I would describe my 2006 Buick Lacrosse
Very smooth ride, nice tight steering. Very solid built car. Very roomy extremely comfortable on long road trips. No problems so far, very happy with my car. Engine is really powerful, goes when you need it to, without hesitation. Very little road noise.

My Awesome vehicle the lacrosse
We just bought a 2017 La Crosse Premium which is loaded. We drove it 30 miles and the transmission was slipping, did not shut off when stopped, a "Check Transmission" light came on, and the service symbol came on and stayed on. I would push the gas pedal after the stop lighted changed, and the car hesitated. Obvious transmission issues. I pulled over and called the dealership. They told me to go home and bring it back in the morning. I told them I was afraid of being stranded. I brought it back and they gave us a loaner. Close

Mileage and comfort of red is the best things about this auto.
I have had very little trouble with this Buick. I love the ride, it has plenty of power and the gas mileage is over 18 out of town. In town I get probably 10-12 mpg. The tires wear very evenly and alignment seems very good. The inside is very clean and looks great.

Attractive to look at. Handles well in all types of weather. Loaded with features including PS, PB, cruise control, power windows, moon/sun roof. Very good gas mileage. Heated seat. Auto start comes in very handy in the winter. Also has theft deterrent. I've had it for several years and aside from routine maintenance, it's only had three trips to the mechanic, for minor repairs. Love it!!

It is overall a good car. You have to put premium gas in it and it runs better.
It is a great car. It is older so it goes in the shop more often, but still gets around great. It gets me down to Florida every year for college and has always been dependable. Also gets me to and from work. I would definitely consider getting another Buick. It is also super safe and very well built. Got in an accident and kept everyone safe.

Drives good as long as I keep it maintained, change oil, etc. Comes with OnStar and the option for XM radio, but I do not care for those features. No big problems with the car, but I wish for old fashioned roll-up windows instead of power windows which can stop working when least expected.

The best family car with great features
It's a really comfortable car for a family. The only complaint I have is my husband is 6 foot 5 inches and he says he feels cramped. It gets good gas mileage and it's really dependable as it will go fast. The woodgrain and leather seats are really nice. The best feature is the radio will go up the faster your speed is and goes lower the slower you go.

A Quick Review of my 2006 Buick LaCrosse
This car has a smooth ride, CD player, auto AC and heat functions and digital displays. This car currently has over 200,000 miles and has run like a charm. I've only had this car for about two years. It previously belonged to my mother who passed away some years ago. I complete regular maintenance, and have replaced the glove compartment door, coolant reservoir, and the fan belt; but those are the only major repairs. My Dad has also replaced the glove compartment door, apparently the latch is too fragile and the door can't be opened much. Apart from those minor issues, this car is fantastic!

Great car for anyone looking to travel or just get around town.
It feels sturdy and safe. Drives well and it's very comfortable. I've frequently taken it on lots of long drives (Ohio to Connecticut/Rhode Island) and it's a great long distance car. I had some minor anti lock brake and traction control issues that have come and gone but got it fixed after a few tries finding the problem. Other than that no issues and it's a great car.

Dependability and Reliability of the Buick
I love my vehicle! It is reliable and starts up everytime. I have not had any major problems with the car. Motor is quiet and there is no shake to it. I do get regular oil changes and keep up with all the fluid changes. One problem I did have us the heat stopped working, which after reading about it, that is a common problem with the vehicle. Also, the exhaust fell off while I driving but that was a cheap fix, although the car was very loud until I did get it repaired.

Though it says the hood is ajar it is not, it is just how those cars were made.
The problem that I am finding is that the "hood ajar" alert constantly comes on. The power steering fluid is hard to put it. What I like about the car is that it is reliable and runs really smooth.

Comfortable, gets good mileage.
I seem to have problems with car batteries in this model. I've had to have a battery replaced multiple times, even when it's still under warranty. The driver's side door latch came completely unhinged from the inside recently, so I had to roll down the window to open the car door. The sight lines on this car are really terrible, and it sits so low that it's sometimes difficult to see around other vehicles when waiting to make a turn.

I've had the vehicle for approximately 3 yrs purchased it with 30k miles, runs really well, issues with breaks, front end issues i.e. Tie rods. For some reason have had to replace battery at least 3 times due to corrosion. As vehicle is older, there is a rubber piece in front window that has dry rotted and now water comes in and drips on the floor. Nevertheless, no major issues far. (knock on wood) Would love to buy another one but just a newer year.

Buicks are steady until they hit 220k miles.
I like Buicks in general but ours has over 230k miles on it and the radiator is going bad, the water pump is going bad, all the hoses all at once. It's like it hit a mileage marker and POOF everything's breaking.

Comfort, class, and streamlined style in a midsize luxury car.
My Buick is extremely comfortable, clean, and smooth riding. The downside to the 2006 model is that it is in between feature years as far as Bluetooth or AUX abilities, leaving the user with only a CD player, or having to use a radio transmitter for audio. For people like me that travel a lot and like to listen to their own music/podcasts/audiobooks, this can sometimes be a bit of a hassle. The car's leather features and interior are comfortable and easy to maintain. The only trouble I have had is with the transmission in first gear, but this is only due to previous ownership using the car to pull small travel trailers. The car is still going strong at 120 k+ thousand miles and has minimal rust, despite living in a northern, high salt area. We take good care of it and so far, it has taken great care of us. It has started to burn a bit more oil that it should, but we anticipate getting at least 2 more years of use out of the car with changing the oil every 3k miles.

The most important part about the car in my opinion, is the air conditioner.
Heavily reliable. The air conditioning is amazing when having separate temperatures for driver and passenger. The v6 gives great power but too much power to where gas is an issue. As long as you do not have a lead foot, you should be fine. The trunk is very spacious as well as the seating.

To be honest, I've always thought that Buick had a higher standard for quality until I bought this car 7 years ago. The car has definitely served Its purpose but I feel I've had to fix stuff a lot sooner than I have for previous vehicles. I have kind of a love/hate relationship towards the car. I feel she doesn't owe me anything but then it burns me that I had to replace the transmission in her before she even hit 130,000 miles. Besides that though, she has never left me stranded & if it broke down, she always did it in my driveway. It used to be a pretty good looking car but early on, I lost a hubcap that never got replaced & after that she pretty much looked ghetto.

It has so much room and is very comfortable. If you take care of it, it will last forever. Drives so smooth and picks up very easy and smooth. It can fit up to 5 large people. It has a huge trunk. Basic oil changes which helps save on money and it is. An American made car so repairs are very inexpensive.

Frequent problems and unreliable lights
I have had ongoing problems with the wiring. At one point the vehicle would lose power steering while I was driving it. The lights cut off at night for no reason and I have to switch to brights quickly. The check engine light stays on since 17,000 miles and I have almost 100,000 now. I have had several issues with the vehicle fuel system.

The car rides like a dream. Has very good get up and go. Blows really cold air conditioning. The blower is a bit loud but really heats and or cools the car in a hurry. It's kind of low to the ground but not too low. It has a very spacious back seat and a huge trunk that has held everything I have ever tried to fit in there. It golds my wheelchair collapsed with room still for groceries and essentials.
