My car has heat lines that defrost the back window.
I love my car. My grandfather passed it down to me, and he kept it in great condition so it runs pretty well. There is some problems getting it to start in extremely cold and extremely hot weather but after a few tries it starts. The only issue I had recently was the air conditioner wasn't running cold, but I just had a friend recharge the air conditioner.

That it is one of a kind.
The 2005 Buick lesabre is the most comfortable, most dependable vehicle, & it gets 35 mpg. My complaint is that 2005 was the last year that Buick made the lesabre. I feel that the decision to stop making them was because they are virtually maintenance free & they get. Very good gas mileage.

A land yacht for all ages
For a granny mobile, it's a great car. That said, it feels like you're driving a land yacht and you'll feel every bump for half a mile as the super soft suspension gently rocks the car back and forth.

Buick Lesabre: the true land boat.
I love my Buick. It has tons of space for being just a car, gas mileage is great, and it's not expensive to fill up. I can go at least 600 miles per tank of gas. Because it is a Buick the parts are so common and the build is so easy it is simple and cheap to fix. Since I drive a lot I do have to change the oil quite frequently otherwise there's a shake to the car. Since my Buick is older it does shake/vibrate quite a bit once I hit 70 MPH. I still love my car though.

Seats are great easy to buckle in a baby’s seat and get them out of the car.
The only thing I can see wrong with thin car is the transmission is slipping. I bought it used(the car) so they might have fixed it where on test drive it didn't slip. Everything else on the car is great. It has plenty of room, handles well. Nice car!!

Comfortable car with a great ride.
My car is very comfortable to drive. It has air ride which makes for a smooth ride. It has plenty of pick up, I am able to pass other cars easily. The biggest issue is that there is rust that develops under the gas cap, which sets off the sensor to service the car and which continues to come back.

It is a comfortable car that you can dependable upon.
It is a comfortable ride. The heater/air conditioner works quite well providing either heat or cool air almost instantly. The added feature of heated front seats adds to the comfort of the passengers. The miles per hour show up in the lower part of the front window which makes it easier to keep your eyes on the road. The system is in tune with each key and will automatically adjust the seat for that particular driver. You always know which direction that you are headed in since that shows up in the rear view mirror. The only real problem that I have with this car is that it is rear wheel drive, a problem when when you are driving in the snow or a muddy lane.

Reasons to avoid a Buick lesabre that is close to 2005.
It has low gas mileage. There is almost always a time when I need to buy a part or have the vehicle serviced. It is the worst in winter if it snows it is hard to handle and wont go up hills very well the acceleration is also not very good it is slow driving.

You should know that it does have some get up and go to it, but you should still try and take things slow.
My car is very comfortable and works pretty well considering how old it is. The only real problem i've had with it has been the alternator and i was able to fix that myself quite easily.

My amazing dependable automobile
This is the most amazing car...i've had it for 14 years...its never had to be tuned up...it does not leak oil after all these years..i've only had to change oil and filters, tires and a gasket that caused my antifreeze to leak. A car that anyone would for dependability.

Dependable, spacious, with great gas mileage.
It is a nice spacious car, with good gas mileage. It fits three car seats in the backseat comfortably. If you maintain the car regularly it will stay in a good condition. It has a v6 engine that will get you where you need to on a regular basis. It tells you miles until empty, if you have low tire pressure or low oil or when you need to get an oil change.

Family car safe for long or short travels with low maintenance costs.
Its old is all...it completely spacious..lots of room. The seatbelts tend to only fit skinny people..the hideaway compartments never stay hidden but overall it drives wonderfully.Its great on gas mileage in town or traveling out of town with low maintenance conditions.

The battery is under the backseat.
I love my car. It is comfortable and roomy. I like the fact the back is not jacked up, the windows are not tinted, the Windows are full size. I can see out of all the windows. I can turn my head when changing lanes to actually see there is no one in my blind side. The only complaint I have is the battery is underneath the back seat. If you have car seats in the back seat and you need to jump the battery it is very difficult for me to accomplish all of that with small children. The you have to put it all back together.

I like the touch screen radio system.
I like the space and room for all the children to sit comfortably and safely. I also like the design and color as well as the interior. The gas take is very large which is great for long distance trips. I think the Bluetooth is a great feature and the sportiness of the vehicle is a plus.

Very safe and drives for a long time.
This car has been drivable for a long time. Buick’s in my opinion are the most reliable cars. The only problem I have had with them are the bumpers eventually falling off from wear and tear (e. G. Deer, animals, bumping into trees). Other than that Buick’s are pretty reliable.

One thing others should know about my car is that even know it was made in 2005 it still runs very well and it is still in good condition without any scratches, dents, or anything like that.
I like that my car is reliable and gets me to the places that I need to go. And it seems like it is durable and is made very well. And what I dislike is that it does have it's problems like things wearing out like the breaks that I have to get fixed and a few other small things.

My Buick runs great, very happy and content with it.
I really love my Buick lesabre custom 2005. It had 115 thousand when I bought it, but had some trouble, but easily fixed by a mechanic, once fixed it runs great, it is very comfortable to drive, lots of bells and whistles, I always had a small car, but I love the big car feel, it is like you have more car on the road, type of feel, very happy with my used Buick lesabre custom.

Great, comfortable and reliable vehicle!
I love the luxury, it is very comfortable for long drives. It has a v-6 with plenty of power and 21 mpg. All power, seat, windows, etc. I love the satellite radio, I can listen to the same station while driving long distances. The only problems that I have had was replacing the water pump and fuel pump. Now the air conditioning compressor is going out.

We never really had a problem with the car. There has been one accident. To the front left fender. We had repaired by the dealer. There has been no other issues with the car. It has run very well for many years. Some of the parts are getting older and may make some sounds. But the car still keeps up with traffic, and looks very nice. With regular maintenance it is still a good car.

Older vehicle, may be a fixer upper.
The car runs fine, it is an older vehicle so I have to keep up with it more. Like new brakes and tires, oil changes quit often. The window will not go down anymore. It was a fixer upper when I first got it. The battery is under that back sit so that is a pain to change.

Comfy Car for road trips!
For the most part I really love my car. It has been very reliable and extremely comfortable to take on trips. The only issue we have had is that the air conditioning started to be a bit warmer on the driver side. It was a simple fix if you know someone handy. We used one of the ac chargers you can buy at any auto store.

Love my Lesabre! Wish they would make them again. All the beach stuff and golf clubs fit in the trunk plus the cooler and suitcases. Drives great on ice and snow. Great gas mileage

The thing I change is oil. I think the body style is great and beautiful classy it's easy and comfortable on long trips. Get great gas mileage. . We haven't had any mechanical problems other than nails in flat tires. The feathers on the dash are easy to see both day and night. I have had to refurbish the headlights lens due UV sun rays.

I think with these early cars, have less electrical when maintained thoroughly.
The 2005 Buick lesabre has some electrical problems. Trunk pops open, gauges are not reading, tail light often goes out. It has problems in the heat whereas, the air conditioner does blow cold. The thermostat & radiator has the main, overheating.

I really find this vehicle comfortable as I am pretty tall and that makes it difficult to find a car with head room. Nice features with power windows and locks, heated seats and steering wheel (especially handy for MN winters), and a CD player. Lots of trunk space and large arm console. Gas mileage is average. All in all would recommend!

It will last forever with proper maintenance, even if the gas mileage does start slowing down after ~100,000 miles!
My car was driven by my grandma for 10 years before me and was still in nearly perfect condition when I purchased it from her. I have now owned it for ~3 years and have yet to have a problem. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because the gas mileage isn't fantastic and I'm having to fill up more and more often, but for an 18 year old car it does the job!

Transmission solenoid problem
Nice car but why GM did not modify the transmission shift solenoids. Mine is a 2005 and this problem went on for years with these transmissions.

This car is so nice I feel as if I am entering a luxurious hotel suite!
My Lesabre is leather interior, all power locks, windows,cruise control, air conditioning and radio button on the steering wheel. It has a anti-theft system for not only the car but the radio as well! I really enjoy driving this car, it rides nice and smooth, had excellent pickup and fantastic breaks. There is a great sound system in the car, which makes driving all the more pleasurable. The only thing I would say about it is that it is kind of larger than what I am used to. I feel safe being in this car and highly recommended it to anyone who enjoys a comfortable ride in a safe car. I had a near fatal car accident in 2013 with a smaller vehicle, so for me safety was a very important selling point.
