This full size vehicle has by far the best air conditioning system
The engine is the northstar V8 which is great with performance. The air conditioner is amazing in this car

Beautiful Buick. My car is very stylish, affordable, and reliable.
I have owned it for 6 years and had very little problems. It has very good gas mileage. It is a very smooth ride. It has been very reliable. It is still very sleek looking even being 8 years old. I love the leather seats and the interior. It is very now.

This vehicle is comfortable, reliable, has many great features!
This vehicle is very reliable. It has menu settings easily accessible in the cars dashboard. This menu includes items such as vehicle information, mileage/ fuel economy, navigation, etc. My vehicle is comfortable, however there is limited room inside. Not a great choice for small families. This car has great gas mileage and keeps you up to date on your car's fuel economy, you can access this feature through the cars menu option. This vehicles sound system is excellent, very clear. For those people who like a nice bass in their vehicle this car is a nice choice. You can access the cars sound system without leaving the wheel, you can answer calls without leaving the wheel, you can access your car's menu without leaving the wheel. This car rides smoothly, you can keep up in your tire pressure by accessing the vehicles menu option. I have leather seats in my vehicle, seat warmers, and he seats are fitted to your bum. This car has good maneuverability, nice handling.

Why getting a Buick is a good answer.
Good car to drive, only had minor problems so far. I would suggest getting a Buick. We have had a Buick cars for over 10 years. Each vehicle has had a long life. This vehicle that we have now has heated seats, which is a must for people with back issues!

My Buick regal sports car.
GPS available, child security locks on door, automatic windows, nice drive, seatbelt verification, radio and speakers awesome, chairs leather which is nice, cruise control, automatic headlights, trunk button, security lock, many windshield wiper options, heated seating, auto temperature.

I love how luxurious my car is & looks.
It is a very comfortable car to ride in for long distance travel. I also love that I get great gas mileage as well. I have yet to have any major issues with my car. It is been very reliable car & I will always purchase any type of Buick after having this car.
accountCircle Becky E
It is stylish and dependable. It hasn't had any issues other than routine maintenance. It has a turbo so it has some get up and go and the size is just right for my family now.
That's it's comfortable and easy to drive, it also looks great.

This car has to many recalls every other year it is a recall.
It is slow it is small it is made for a woman or a little or small man or for a person first car for a man that is 30 like me it is a waste of time.

Slow moving vehicle ahead move get out the way.
It's just slow it has no pick up and go power its small inside the car the windshield wiper handle is backwards.
accountCircle Ebony S
Reduced engine power and timing chain issues. This car has electrical issues.
My Buick regal has electrical problems it loses engine power frequently. Also I believe there is a problem with the timing chain. The engine has been replaced before but it still continues to have an issue with the timing chain so I believe there is an engine issue.
accountCircle Celestine M
It is a good reliable car just more on the luxury and expensive side.
It is fast and pretty reliable the gas just goes quickly and it has minor issues that can lead to bigger issues sometimes. I like the seat warming options and the blinkers on the side mirrors and the sports like build on the car that lets it go faster quicker and it has Sirius XM radio feature and on star with road assistance. It also has a five star crash rating for safety. USB port to charge phone.

Overall it is not very great. Pretty basic.
It is overall not the best car. It runs alright I guess. It is pretty comfortable to chill in though. It has some pretty basic features, just the same as every other car. Nothing too special. I'd go with a Chevy if I were you. It is really bad with gas (mine is anyways) and will drain your pockets.
accountCircle Julie K
It is just a good reliable vehicle. Very few problems.
It has a lot of options on it but not great on gas for a smaller car. I wish the car was better on gas.
accountCircle Alison P
Okay but some big problems.
It is comfortable for road trips and I love the heated seats but the engine has had a lot of problems. Just had to replace the exhaust manifold because it broke completely in half and it needs a wheel bearing but it has been on long road trips without many issues.

Buick regal 2012 best car I have owned.
I have to say that my Buick regal is by far one of the best motor vehicles I've waver owned. I haven't had a single problem from my car in over 3 years when I purchased it from an older woman who had less than 30, 000 miles on it. The engine always runs smoothly. Great in gas mileage and exceptional seating. I find it very room and comfortable rather I am driving or a passenger.

My 3 year old Buick regal sedan.
Driver seat warmer do not work. It will come on for about 30 seconds to a minute. Air condition don't fully put out snowballs in the summer. Having the turbo requires you to add an extra quart of oil when it is time for an oil change. The car itself makes you feel like you are in a sports car.

Buick regal is all around okay car.
Air does not have off button and it stinks. Low front end bumper. Blind spots. Drives smooth and nice interior. Speakers are decent. Trunk is deep. Seatbelts and car seat fastener difficult to use. Heated seats are nice as well as very adjustable. Overall the car is decent.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Corey F.

Great gas mileage and rides smooth, also has plenty of room for the family! Buick has taken real good care of me as well with any issue that has come up! As far as tire rotation and balance! Servicing the car has been very cheap as far as oil changes alignments.

likeFilled Elisabeth I.

Pros are gets up to speed very quickly, minimal issues, looks sharp, leather heated seats, spacious trunk, clean inside with light blue soft light in back seat area good for kids because it is not pitch dark at night.

likeFilled Patty M.

The pros are: it is very comfortable and easily seats four adults with trunk room for luggage. I love the look of the vehicle. It is very classy. I get very decent gas mileage. It does well in the city as well as the highway.

likeFilled Meg S.

Gets decent mileage, looks nice, still in good shape for a 2012 and I really do not do anything special with it. So far it is pretty good and I hope to have it for a good long while. I would purchase a newer model if it wouldn't be so expensive.

likeFilled Ann C.

It runs well, low maintenance. It is the perfect size vehicle for me. It had a keyless ignition. It also has the modern features like heated seats. It also had Sirius radio. My vehicle also had motion capabilities so that if I get close to an object it lets me know.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Corey F.

This being my First real car new off a lot I haven't had any cons with this car. As far as traveling as well as just everyday use this car has been amazing! Very thankful and humble for this car I've had it about 2 years!

dislikeFilled Elisabeth I.

Some spots of chipped paint, defrost stopped working after 6 years, did have to have motor replaced after 5 years but now works great. Not a lot of space in back seat, not ideal for a family with lots of kids.

dislikeFilled Patty M.

The biggest con is that it has blind spots. You really have to pay attention and double check when turning or changing lanes. I always remind my kids if they are driving my car to really pay attention. I cannot think of another con.

dislikeFilled Meg S.

I cannot think of any real cons to the vehicle even though it was not what I intended to go with. I would like it if they made a hybrid model because I really do like hybrids a great deal and I would honestly prefer to have fully electric or hybrid vehicles going forward.

dislikeFilled Ann C.

The only con is that it is not good on gas. Lately my check engine light is on and I am in the process of fixing it. On the past, I have spend a considerable amount of money on repairs. Examples are wheel problem as well as some engine problems. Overall a good car, but given the age, I think that is why I had these problems.

Is The 2012 Buick Regal A Good Value?

We purchased it for $18,000 and excellent for the money. We have had several offer to purchase our car.

$15000 when I first purchased it but now it probably cost $2000. I think it's still a great value and good buy.
Monica B.
I am currently financing my Buick Regal. The total price for the vehicle was 10,000 even. I'm making monthly payments in hopes of one day owning this great car.
Katie B.
I got it used for $14,000 and I do not think that was a good value for the car with the amount of miles on the car.
Marisol M.
Great value for the cost especially since every GMC after 2015 are factory equipped with Wi-Fi. Also each GMC has OnStar built in for a yearly fee
