It is a Buick which makes it one of the top of the line vehicles.
This vehicle looks good and stands out in the crowd. It is well-appointed and a comfortable ride. This vehicle has excellent clearance, handled well, and gets reasonable fuel mileage.

For the make and model year, maintenance has been minimal.
My car is dependable and comfortable. I feel secure worry free behind the wheel. If given the choice to buy a new one, I would not hesitate to get the same make and model.

The big, family friendly locomotive with simple and roomy interior.
It provides plenty of room for the whole family and being almost 20 years old, it still runs smoothly and reliably. It is comfortable and not terrible on gas for being the size vehicle that it is. It is a heavy vehicle and runs as such, it is slow in corners and you need plenty of room. However, overall, this vehicle has been great for me and the family. Easily get in and out and go about your errands and travels!

This Buick has been very reliable. It has over 230,000 miles at this point and I plan to keep it a few more years.
I really like this vehicle, otherwise I wouldn't still have it. I truly like the fact that the seats in back (middle) are completely removable in addition to being able to fold forward. The only thing I don't like it that the side mirrors are so big that on occasion they block view and I have to spend longer time trying to see before driving.

Nice car good dependable smooth driving car.
I love my car all except I wish it got better gas mileage, otherwise I usually do not have a lot of problems with it as it is it is been reliable, good running and drives smooth, I would recommend this vehicle to people needing one, nice body style and all the older stuff you need.

Buy GM Made in USA If something gets broken, you don't have to go across the pond for replacements
No problems great car bought it used in 2004 still has only 62000 miles on it think Buick is a great car is all GM cars

Good engine, no oil consumption between changes. First major expense is fuel line replacement.
I have a 2002 Rendezvous since new. Great car with few problems until now. With a little over 100,00 miles the fuel lines under the vehicle have corroded to the point they need replacement. Parts are difficult to find. My garage will repace the lines for $715.00 claiming the lines are not available any more but found them new online. Did not state the price of the lines to me except they are expensive. My wife loves the vehicle and decided to repair. Parts on the way. Expect another 100,000 miles after repair.

The fuel pump goes out regularly on it. I've had my vehicle for 4 years and have replaced it twice now.
The fuel pump goes out every couple of years. It's very roomy. I got it for a good price and I got low mileage on it

Bad review for a Buick 2002.
It is runs hot all of the time and stops. The window came down and got stuck also I get parts changed and it breaks shortly after.

Worst GM product ever made.
I purchased this vehicle used in September 2017. The pros to the SUV is that for a mother of three there is plenty of room with the third row seating. Cons is the engine and mechanical. In the course of two years this truck has overheated due to head gaskets blowing and water pump failing. Both front calipers locked up. Air compressor for rear shocks is very loud when pumping up due to internal bearings failing. I have AWD and when taking a sharp turn on either side the rear differential whines very loud. Oil pan gasket started to leak, starter failed, and transmission is slipping. Catalytic converter has been replaced a year ago but is needed a new again already. This SUV is the worst used vehicle I have ever purchased.

The engine is terrible and I wouldn't recommend it.
I like that it has lots of room. I hate that the engine is terrible and it overheats often. It's a big money pit.

GM REALLY LET ME DOWN
We purchased a 2002 rendezvous 13 months ago & it's only been 3000 miles in between numerous mechanical problems now it's the transmission. In my opinion it's the worst vehicle ever made & I'm a Chevy fan but GM really let me down. I'll never by another one from them after this.

Overheating and climate control
No way would i recommend this model. I have struggled to keep it on the road. Everything thats listed as major problems has occured multiple times.

The high number of problems that affect this model vehicle.
My vehicle has so many problems I can not afford to fix them. I bought it from a dealer who didn't disclose the real history of the car. It had been declared to be "totaled" not for sale. But he fixed a few things and sold it anyway. That particular model was never a good vehicle to start with from what I have heard. I would not ever buy another Buick.

Family effectiveness and affordable quality.
Expensive repairs, too many special simple fixes that are not simple. Tires are an odd size not affordable, the security system is faulty, it is dings and must be turned on and off every start or it will not stop. To repair that sensors is over 400. 00 it is not gas effective even after tune up and oil change.

The rendezvous summoned up: it is an awkward oversized wobbly piece of plastic.
The problem with it is that it is a bulky vehicle but it is very light and can be knocked around on a windy day or slides very easily when it snows. The reliability is decent on the car. The comfort level is great when you are sitting in the front but if you are in the back, the car is terribly uncomfortable and shaky and makes me physically sick. I like the feature of it being very roomy in the car.

It's a family car for drivers who aren't looking for a technology advanced vehicle.
My current vehicle is outdated in technology which is a dislike. I do like that the car fits three growing children and me comfortably. I also like that it is dependable with low maintenance issues.
