This vehicle is not only reliable but performs exceptionally well. Smooth. Great trims with a 20' alloy wheel base. The interior finish of all round supple leather is great. Bose surround system with navigation and satellite radio. There has been no major issue with this car. Mostly routine oil change. Single owner and maintenance done by dealer.

This is a great car for moms who have one or two kids.
I love my car because it is a great size, it is very roomy, but not huge. It drives great and gets good gas mileage. I have not had any problems with it so far and enjoy driving it. The only problem I do have is with the rear facing air vents. They do not sit in the best place to allow my daughter to get a good air flow. We live in a hot climate and she is still rear facing so that also does not help with the air flow as well.

I like the styling of this particular srx.
The biggest problem is with water getting blocked up in the upper part of the door, then flooding down to the floor. I have had this problem at least 3 or more times. Also, once water stayed in a back door & ruined my speakers. The SUV has good power & a comfortable ride. My SUV is not 4 wheel drive but we have managed okay in the Ohio winter weather.

Review and concerns of cadillac srx.
I originally loved this vehicle. It is very comfortable driving and riding. Lots of amenities. Fits my family of 3 nicely. The interior is luxury leather with heated seats and heated steering wheel which is great on those cold winter mornings. This vehicle also came with a sunroof for the warmer days. I have had 2 major issues with this vehicle. The first being the headlights. They are very dim and make it hard to see at night. I have even had them replaced and it still made no difference. Cadillac sent out a notice that they were aware of the issue and offered to reimburse for any money spent toward replacing the headlamps. I did as they requested but never received any compensation. The other major issue are the brakes. They squeak alot even after they have been replaced.

My Cadillac srx has great performance I really haven't had too many problems with it. As far as replacement parts they get expensive and sometimes it takes a while. There is a blind spot which I have gotten use to. I would highly recommend this car for purchase.

It's sporty can fit 3 car seats in the back which is a plus.
Do not have any problems out of it.It's a good reliable vehicle. Its comfortable has a lot of unique features. Radio is nice. Has loudspeakers. Nice luxury SUV from Cadillac.
The Cadillac srx is a nice vehicle. The downside is space. We thought it had a little more space than it does. We love the heated seats and air conditioned seats. I wish for the cost we would have received DVD players. The sunroof is amazing, I wish we could use it more (weather sadly doesn't always permit).

Great features on the Cadillac srx.
Some of the features that I love most about my car are the panoramic sunroof/moonroof, leather seats, automatic lift gate, and the back-up camera. I also really like the front parking sensors and the heating steering wheel option. I keep a regular maintenance routine with this vehicle and have never had any issues with it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle.

Very comfortable and smooth.
The only problems with my vehicle have been minor. The rear passenger wheel will not hold air. The bcm had to be replaced because the headlight went out this wasn't covered on the extended warranty. I do wish when the fuel level becomes low it would tell you what exactly it is at instead of just a red warning.

Cadillac srx AWD classy and consistent.
Love the Cadillac srx AWD! Great panoramic roof and sound system. . I normally purchase a new vehicle every 3 years and cannot part with this car. Everything is working great, no tears in seats, carpet looks great and just a very comfortable car to maneuver around town in and take trips with. Good visibility for pulling out into traffic. No blind spots. I am truly wanting to buy a new car, as driving a car 6 years old has never been my style, but this cadi still has retained its looks, class and there's really no reason to sell it.

It is extremely comfortable and rides well. The heated seats and steering wheel are great. The automatic trunk door works really well. The full sun roof allows for a lot light, but is tough to keep cool on a sunny day. But it is expensive to take care of with oil changes and engine repair. The stereo cut out and is much too expensive to repair.

I have not had any problems. Regular maintenance keeps the vehicle running smooth and all the bells and whistles. Work. It handles the road perfectly. Due to its age at this time, new brakes and tires will be purchased within the next six months. Based on performance right now, there are no issues.

The SRX is a good luxury crossover vehicle. That could be even better with a few tweeks.
The SRX has a great ride, it is comfortable and nicely appointed. The engine has plenty of power, but the gas mileage could be better. Visibility out of the rear window is not good, backing up without the backup camera would be a real challenge. There are two large blind spots out of the front windshield due to the size of the support pillars, which can be dangerous.

This is a very popular make model and color.
I love my daddy. I bought it as a salvage with 97000 miles about 6 months ago. I have had no major problems I would definitely recommend a caddy they are built tough built to last. It has heated seats adjustable temps for each side. It will go from 0 to 60 pretty quickly.

Best inheritance gift ever!
I inherited this vehicle or I would never have been able to purchase such an expensive vehicle. It drives very smoothly. It has only needed new tires and normal oil changes. No problems except the no key system. I closed the doors and my car locked even though the key fob was in the car. I had no warning this might happen and it cost $75 to gain entry in my vehicle. Love the car though!!

Best vehicle to travel in.
It is a great vehicle but there was recalls on some parts that you had to pay for and wait to get paid back. Like the headlights that fog and leaking when rains. It has good gas mileage and very comfortable in long trips. Has a lot of room for when you travel.

Cadillac srx headlight issues.
Dim headlights fog up after use for a while making it more difficult to see at night. Buying headlights off market on amazon is much cheaper than getting them fixed at a repair shop. Makes them look brand new and no further issues. Very excellent car besides that issue, but definitely needs to be fixed.

Great for tall drivers, but not tall rear seat passengers!
I love the driver's seat, because I am tall it is the only car I found that has a thigh support that extends outward and then retracts for other driver's. The convenience packages with Sirius, OnStar phone pairing, etc. Are great. Steering wheel controls are easy to use. The backseat is not the best because it is fixed in place with only a slight adjustment that can be made to the seat back. I love the rear lift gate controls!

It is one of the best vehicles I have drove! I absolutely love the sunroof. It goes past the second row of seating which you do not see in many vehicles. One of the best features would be how smooth it drives and how quiet it is in the vehicle. One disadvantage I see is it will have problems starting when it gets way too cold out. That is the only disadvantage but the pros outweighs that by far!

Blind spots only negative.
Everything is good except for blind spots while driving. Takes some extra time to get use to them. The pullers for the front windshield crest a very big blind spot for turning left. Several close calls due to this. You do get use to it and learn to look around a bit more than on other sub’s. No other major issues with the car.

No problems, it's great on gas, it is very comfortable. It includes heated seats; as well as, a heated steering wheel. The leather interior is soft and durable, my car is four years old and it looks new on the inside. You have the option to add a third row. The seats in the back can be pulled down. There is a privacy shade in the back of the vehicle and the glove compartment has a cooling option to store cold drinks. This vehicle can be driven manually or as a shift. I love my car.

I like that my vehicle takes flex fuel 88 grade. It is good on gas mileage and has a smooth ride. I wish that the seat heaters had more settings and the seats were larger and plush. I have had issues with my sunroof. Had to get a new motor and casing. Thankfully, it was covered under my extended warranty. I would purchase another Cadillac. However, I would buy a newer model. Definitely interested in the new SUV models.

Rides smoothly and easy to drive. Not sure about maintenance since I haven't had car very long. I have heard it is good Only drawback is the wide posts at both ends of windshield. They block vision at times. Computer screen could be less complicated. Use icons for maneuvering. Since I am relatively short, I'd like to sit up higher to see over hood.

Cadillac - the good and bad of luxury.
It has a big blind spot with the way the posts that surround the front windshield are placed. Right in the viewpoint that can make turning somewhat difficult to see danger. Comfort level is very good with many 'electronic' features that add to the enjoyment of the vehicle. Heated seats and steering wheel are very nice in northern Indiana.

Best car I have ever had!!
I love my car, its roomy and comfortable. There's extra storage in the back hatch under the floor. All my sheets fold down flat into the floor and I can haul a lot if needed. There is a backup camera in the rear view mirror. The seats are all Italian leather and very tough. It runs great even though its 7 years old. So far no major mechanical issues. My only complaint are the headlights are not very bright and can be hard to see when raining at night.

It has a hands free phone call ability.
It is too automatic. Too much technology. It is hard to unlock doors unless you are in possession of the key. Also, once the drivers door is open the other doors stay locked. The back hatch door also is hard to open unless you are holding the key. If key is left in car, it beeps and is difficult to start.

Overtaking is sluggish, takes a few seconds to gain power.
Pros: I like the comfort of a cadillac. Interior has very nice detailing, what one expects for cadillac. I like the way it handles & sustain its speed once its up & running... Cons: prefer if navigation system was easier to use. The srx lacks pick up when going for slow speed to faster speed. Once its at a steady speed, seems to have no problem. Cannot find any other negatives really. Nice looking SUV.

Like my car a lot but the navigation screen will not go up and down anymore. I like the amount of space I have in the back. It is an SUV. I have leather seat and the panoramic sunroof, that I love. It does have limited visibility because the car is big, sort of feels like I am driving a tank.

I love my 2012 srx. I bought the vehicle because I like gm vehicles & am familiar with the Cadillac brand. It rides very well & is super dependable. I also like he has mileage. My only complaint is the lack of storage. If a family of 4 took a vacation, all their luggage would not fit in the back of the vehicle.

I can listen to all music I like on FM, XM radio, or on my USB jump drive.
It is a great vehicle. Picks up speed well. When it rains sometimes it is hard to turn. There was 2. One of recalls was for front lights fogging up. And the other was for leaking in from roof. Had to pay for them to fix it and had to wait 3 months for refund of funds.

Srx highlights for Cadillac.
Overall meets expectations!! Drives well especially on interstate! Have had problems with the front headlights losing the seal and allowing water to penetrate. Thankful that it was under warranty because the cost to replace these was over $3000. Also front hubs go bad quickly. And will need replaced around 50000 miles. The style is one of Cadillacs most popular and a consistent best seller. I would definitely buy another one. The gas mileage is pretty good averaging about 21 both highway and city driving. Interior is made well and has performed perfectly. Quiet ride and does well at any speeds.

Easy to get into and out of. My wife and I both have knee and hip issues. The vehicle high makes it easy for us. We love the heated seats. We use the navigation system all the time. It is very accurate and works great. The radio and CD player are both awesome. The sound is terrific. The service from our dealer (Faulkner Cadillac), is great too.

This car has terrible blind spots. There is not much space in the back seat area. It has been very reliable. The sunroof is panoramic. The menu options conveniently show tire pressure per a wheel, percentage of oil remaining, miles left for remaining gas, speed limit in area you are driving.

Negative about the. 2012 srx.
It does not have Bluetooth for music, just phone. I would much rather have a car that allows me to play my music without plugging my phone in. Also, the lights are not bright enough at night. I have had the low beams replaced, but that has not helped. Other than that, I like everything about my car.

Sunroof leaks,floor board fills up with water , lift gate module is corroded,stopped working, head lamps are very dim, have to drive with high beams on, standing water in the two side cubby holes in the back and under the carpet in the back is mold and rust stains from water leaking from the sunroof drain tubes

The headlights are HORRIBLE at night. You have to have your brights on all the time at night just to see where you are going.

100,000 Miles and Beyond!
Fell in love when I sat in this vehicle at the dealership. The cockpit design is thoughtful and has a rounded shape with some lighting that goes around the edges. A hidden storage behind the touch screen display. Hubby is over 6ft and he is comfortable in the passenger seat. The steering is a solid feel and I feel very safe when driving. The backseat has very little leg room, that's really the only downside of the vehicle. Great cargo room with a privacy cover that is removable. The original paint has lasted very well, headlights are getting foggy but after 7 years that's the only physical/cosmetic wear that's visible. Will drive for another year or two at least.

Luxuriously comfortable. From the space to the comfort of the adjustable seats.
The moon roof really opens up the space and let’s a lot of light in. The leather seats are not only beautiful but they give the design a luxurious feel. I am a petite women but I can adjust the seats to my comfortable level and have a great view of the road. I love the backup cameras and the warning signal to my rear and front bumper. If you want space for strollers, groceries, traveling, the hatch allows room for all of that without invading the space upfront.

Beautiful style. Like it better than the 2017.
Original tires were shot at 24k, Michelins. That was a shock! But other than that, no issues. I have had the oil changed on a regular basis and have done everything as required and thank goodness I cannot complain. I have a 2012 srx and I currently have 49k miles on it. The hood is corroding on the inside and outside so I have to have the entire thing sanded down and repainted. Of course it didn't appear until after the gm warranty expired for that issue. So that will be quite an expense. But other than that, just the usual, front brakes at 42k miles and I need new shocks and back brakes now.

I enjoy the car because it is a really smooth ride.
The touch screen sometimes does not work. It is very comfortable and the sound is very good. It alerts you if you are too close to a another object/car and has a very good heating system. The interior is very nice to look at and the seats are nice and cozy. There are seat warmers for the front seats but none for the back.:(.

Sporty vehicle, holds it is value, fast, good gas mileage.
Very comfortable. Handles well. Reliable. Good gas mileage. Tires are expensive to replace because they are low profile performance tires. My back up camera has a glitch ne is currently not working. Other than that, has been a great SUV crossover.

Feels like your riding on air when driving on the highway. Smooth and fast.
It has plenty of room for the family. The trunk is very large, enough for groceries to feed 7. The backup camera is amazing with a good view. The front seats have TVs behind the head rest and has a aux for headphones. The interior is beige with dark brown that is makes the colors pop. It came with original Cadillac rims that shine bright. There’s a sunroof that opens all the way to the back so the passengers can get some wind in their hair as well.

Cadillac srx-most comfortable ride ever.
Super comfortable! I love the cadillac features of heated seats, backup camera, dual a/c controls, heated steering wheel, gps, bluetooth phone. Automatic start...However I have had problems with my key. It has to be very close to unlock and lock and start. And yes I put a new battery in it. Also, the trunk is very sensitive where it will go down and come back up when you want it to shut. And I guess the sensors are off from the tire being rotated so there I an error message always coming up about fixing it. . It is an 8 year old car though. I would purchase another cadillac in a heartbeat.

While it is a cadillac and it is a nice car, it really isn't special compared to other other cars not named cadillac

Joy of the Cadillac srx on the road.
I enjoy the comfort and smooth ride of my Cadillac srx. I know that when I am out in it eyes of admiration are on it. The chrome look grill, the fog lights, the chrome rims, and the sunroof are eye catchers. The interior roomy comfort of five passengers, on the smooth, luxury leather seats is a definite winner. Both front passenger seats are electronically adjustable. There is front and back controls for the air conditioner. There are front and back USB ports. The Bose sound system is awesome. The vehicle does have OnStar, provides hands free phone use and security. Economic fuel use. The one thing that I am disappointed about is that the steering wheel does not adjust up and down. The seat has to be adjusted for steering wheel comfort.

Reliable car, not for parents of small children.
I have an air intake problem, but besides that this car has been wonderful. I really wish I would have upgraded because the trunk does not open automatically or with a button, I have to walk around and open it. I know that sounds lazy, but I had a minivan before and everything was hands free automatic, I really thought a Cadillac would be a step-up, but it was not.

I enjoy the smooth quiet ride. I love the panoramic moonroof. I am so irritated by the constant flashes on dash about problems that do not exist with tire pressure and rear axle.

Black Cadillac srx 2012 vehicle review.
The brakes have gone bad but otherwise it's a great car. Rides very smooth and very dependable! The seats are leather but I prefer cloth actually. I love the large sunroof. It's one of my favorite parts about the vehicle! I also love the Cadillac name and brand.

Best car I have ever owned!
I love it! I have not had any problems. It runs great - I run it I. The economy mode all the time for better gas mileage. It is easy to handle and I have no problems in any type of weather. The GPS screen hides away which I like better than the ones you can see all the time.

My srx drives and rides great.
The only thing I do not like about my srx is it's hard to see for the side mirrors and backing up is hard to see if you do not use the camera. Other than not being able to see how to backup without the camera and the side mirrors being hard to see when making turns.

The Cadillac srx--high end reliability that is also luxurious.
I love my Cadillac srx, it is reliable but also feels like pure luxury. It is a 2012 but has all the tech bells and whistles--USB, GPS, Bluetooth, backup camera, seat warmer. I love the sun/moonroof. The driving is smooth and I love the feel of where you sit up high. As a small SUV it has a great feel, it is not too big. There are really nice extras of interior lighting of the Cadillac name on the floor boards, which feels very expensive and it just a nice extra.

2012 Cadillac srx. Reliable, smooth ride, good gas mileage for SUV..
My Cadillac srx is a very reliable vehicle. It is my second srx with a few differences from the first one. It has 4 wheel drive which gives it a little more power. I have driven it on many short trips of 250 miles and a couple longer trips without incident. Gas mileage is about 18 to the gallon. It has a beautiful sounding Bose radio system although the CD player only holds one at a time. Have not had any mechanical issues. I get regular oil changes and it now has a little over 106,00 miles. It had 68,000 miles when I bought it.
