There are no blind spots!
This car has not given me any problems. I love sitting high to see all traffic. The dark color (blue) shows dirt quickly. Plenty of room in the back seats and the cargo hold. Makes my life easier! I can carry more people in it than our other car. We get great mileage around town and on the open road!

Luxurious inside and out and detailed show through the beautiful stitching.
Interior and the exterior is beautifully crafted and designed by the stitch. Panoramic sunroof makes the car feel roomier and luxurious. Only bad side is the gas does not speed up when driving on freeway you have to press on the gas to speed up when going on the freeway or sometimes when you are passing through lanes.

My 2014 Cadillac srx is one of my favorite cars I have owned.Its luxury and a very comfortable ride. All the features that it has makes it so luxury: leather seats,sunroof,heat warmers, steering wheel heater, you can adjust your driving test to be longer or shorter(no other vehicle I have had has ever had that),love the radio system, hiding departments, it took awhile to notice them, back seats are really comfortable has cup holders in the middle of seat, the trunk has a lot of room, the color(pearl white )of the vehicle is beautiful. I love to travel in it. The rims are very nice. I usually get a different vehicle every 3 years. This Cadillac has had me very satisfied, I haven't thought of getting a new one yet. I haven't found a vehicle that has caught my eye to change my mind. My Mercedes I had before this is nothing compare to this vehicle.

Heated steering wheel and double sunroof.
Drives really smooth, love the heated steering wheel. At one time had recall on headlights due to when there on dim you can't see anything so if you drive at night time they have to stay on bright. Vehicle has practically all the bells and whistles and I couldn't ask for a better vehicle.

Another comfortable and stylish model from Cadillac.
Comfort level, style and premium features such as heated and cooled leather seats in the front and back are second to none. The maintenance costs are high but the service received is excellent. The car does feel heavy and the blind spots take a bit of time to get use to.

Great luxury car with spacious trunk
I love my car. Worth every penny to go with the luxury options this offers. With back seat folded down, you can lay down fully extended. Have used for camping with a thin blow up often.

It is fuel efficient and easy to drive.
The only problem I have experienced with this vehicle is the Cadillac cue system has had to be replaced twice since I have owned it.

Not worth the money
Do not recommend. This car has a lot of issues. 1st I've taken it to the dealership 6x with transmission issues. Even after an overhaul the car did not perform right. Second, the CUE cracked and was told to repair it will cost 1,500 out of pocket, 3rd the headlights at night are horrible and dangerous.

Run the other way if your thinking about buying this automobile.
The CUE system is the worst nightmare GM has come up with. Iv'e replaced the screen last year and a year later it needs replaced again and they say there is no problem.

Be very careful when hearing a whining noise while driving. It will increase and decrease with speed, not rpm's. That indicates a bad bearing. Get it replaced ASAP as the axel can shear off. Very dangerous along with no headlights at night. Piece of junk.

Comfortable with problems.
Numerous problems with electrical instruments. Including dash, backup camera, dash video screen and warning sounds going off with no indicator of why. I do enjoy the comfort of the seating and extra perks like the panoramic sunroof. Have taken it on long road trips and the comfort is outstanding.

It is very expensive to fix.
Too many electronics. Expensive to repair. The tailgate does not have a key entry. The quality of the seat leather is poor.

Think twice before buying a Cadillac, lots of costly repair.
Have had numerous problems with the computer system. Repair is very costly, generally $1,000 or more. Have owned 3 Cadillac's, but very unhappy with the 2014 model. I do like the safety feature, it was an extra cost, but worth the money. Have also had many problems with the electric side mirrors.

Only for daytime driving- not safe when dark
The poor headlights make this vehicle unsafe to drive at night unless high beams are on. Company refuses to acknowledge this safety issue even though they know there is a problem. The beam is so low you can't see 5 feet ahead of the car. Installed after market beams at dealer which improved the lighting a bit but still not enough to feel safe driving at night. Wished we had known about this common complaint before buying- I don't think anyone buys a car with the idea to only drive during the day.

It gets very poor gas mileage. It only gets 18 miles per gallon.
I think my car is a sharp looking vehicle and I love the wheels. I also like my seat heaters. I prefer a little bigger SUV that sits up higher off of the road.

Love my SRX LUXURY, I have also had Love my Cadillac SRX, I’ve also had issues with the Cue screen has been replaced twice, wheel bearings and headlights. I have also noticed transmission being very jerky and blind spots.

The pros include a luxury interior, sunroof; Bose sound system, lane warnings, good gas mileage and gorgeous candy apple red paint which looks as good as it did when the car was new. It drives like a dream and draws attention from others.

Smooth driving, reclined seats high end air conditioning, and adjustable steering. Nice compartment, good glove compartment, two speedometers, warns you how much gas you have, tells you what cruise you are going at, car radar, close objective radar.

There are very few cons. The only ones I can think of are the CD changer does not take multiple discs. I enjoy books-on-tape when going a distance from home and must change the disc as each gets done. Also, the tires are very expensive when they must be replaced.

Not high end quality backup camera, sometimes you cannot always rely on the car or object radar, low quality Bluetooth phone calling, when using siri it says you are on a phone call, the Cadillac command cannot hear you that well when you want it to do something.

How Reliable Is The 2014 Cadillac SRX?

The screen quit working but was easily replaced. The heated drivers seat quit working but motor was replaced and works fine now..

Only issue so far has been minor engine leaks and a faulty starter relay. It was an easy fix so really no issues so far.
