The vehicle is very comfortable and rides well. I like the little features like how the back seats recline and the bar in the very back that slides and locks in different positions to hold cargo in place. That is especially helpful with groceries, heavy items or bottles that may roll around. I also like that you can see how your driving affects the gas mileage by showing if you are using 4 cylinders or 6 cylinders. I love all the safety features like the blind spot indicators, the lights and vibration if you are coming up behind someone too fast and all the sensors around the vehicle to help you know if you are too close to something. The main complaint about the vehicle is the touch screen/stereo system. It does not respond well to the touch and is not super user friendly. And the fingerprints show up really well so I constantly have to clean it.

Seat control danger
My 3 month old car is scary. While my husband was driving down a major highway the driver seat controls started moving on there own and pushed him all the way forward to the steering wheel. This is highly dangerous he couldn’t move the seat back and thank god he was able to break with his left foot. This continued to be a problem that will differently be taking the car back to get fixed however I’m very worried this will happen again and if I should get an entire different vehicle.

My next vehicle will not be a Cadillac xt5.
I have had issues with this car after a few months of having it. All the warning lights would turn on, and the shop could not identify the issue. I drove another luxury vehicle before this car and I prefer that one over my Cadillac. I do not think this car drive as smooth as it should abs find it to be loud.

Amazing interior work for Cadillac.
Very comfortable with a smooth overall drive. My favorite features of the car have to do with the audio and electronic system within the car. The speakers in the car are Bose, which is a high quality speaker brand. The music sounds amazing when played inside the car. Another aspect of the car I like is the interior lighting. The sides of the car have dim blue lights surrounding the doors. It adds a high tech vibe to the car and adds a nice touch. All in all, I would highly recommend this car to anyone who is looking into new cars. I have had no problems with it and it has left me with nothing but positive opinions regarding the model and the Cadillac brand in general.

Xt5 great family vehicle 2020.
It is a great car and reliable. I haven't had any problem and it is super comfortable. I utilized my car for my daily commute to work, home and personal issues. The commodity of the vehicle makes it great, also gives you a great mileage per gallon. I used to have another mini SUV and the Cadillac xt5 is wonderful.

The interior looks like cockpit of an airplane, this is what I have been told.
A little more road noise than I expected. Everything else good. The roof is a full piece of glass that opens. When the driver door opens the seat retracts back to let you in easier in the car. The v6 is enough horsepower for passing others.The 18 inch tires are big for traction. The car is aerodynamic design.

WORST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED!!!
WORST CAR IVE EVER OWNED!!! The worst problem happened 3/7/2020 My car rapidly accelerated and would not stop. I had to hold the brake at 80MPH. I could not get the transmission to change into a different gear until I exited the freeway holding the brakes as hard as I could trying to keep the car from hitting anyone or anything else. I finally got the car to a spot on the road that I had to turn the ignition off. This was the scariest thing that has ever happened while driving a car. Had I not stayed on the brakes which I'm sure I need new pad and rotors now I would have wrecked at a high speed. It was not slowing down. The car will be going back to Cadillac in the morning for the 3rd time since I've owned it. It has 8000 miles on it. DANGEROUS CAR DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!

First time SUV driver. Love the look and the safety features.
First time SUV driver so it was difficult to get used to. I am not a fan of the size but I do like the safety features. I love the lane assist and blind spot mirrors. My favorite thing is the panoramic sunroof. Both of my previous cars have been small turbo cars so I like that they were small and fast and easier to navigate around. This SUV was the only one that I liked in my budget. When I leased in 2019 all sedans were way over my budget so this was a good deal on this car. I like the automatic start and the heated leather seats. It has apple play which is a must for me. However apple play once in a while will freeze and my maps will not load. It has OnStar which is good and probably a lot of other safety features I am still unaware of. I am not sure if I will get another SUV but this was a good car to get me used to it. I haven’t had any issues with the car other than some bad luck of having a rock hit and crack the windshield. I drive a decent amount. My job is about 20 miles away and I would say the car is pretty good on gas. If I get as good of a deal as I did this time I might get the same car when it is time for a new lease.

Luxury feel and great radio.
I feel like it sways too much. I love the comfort and reliability however it makes me dizzy sometimes. It definitely has a luxury feel. I am used to a more sporty feel. I do not like that when you have the window down on the drivers side you have to crack the passenger side window or it makes an echo in your ears.

This is one of the most enjoyable vehicles, to see, to drive and to own, we have ever had. The car has many safety features
I recently purchased a 2019 XT5 and I love everything about the car except the auto stop start. It is annoying and I am frustrated that this model does not have the button to disable this feature. Cadillac needs to develop a way to permanently disable this feature. I will be totally happy when that happens

Quick acceleration and smooth shifting from the 8 speed transmission.
The 2019 Cadillac xt5 is fun to drive. He v6 engine is very responsive and provides plenty of get up and go when getting on the freeway. The eight speed transmission shifts very smoothly when accelerating up hills or getting on the freeway. That is all for now.

Excellent vehicle, rides smooth, corners well. Surprisingly good gas mileage. Vehicle is well equipped. Vehicle is plush and comfortable inside. Smooth ride, great pick up. Vehicle is quiet and comfortable. Nice paint color selection, has sufficient storage space.

Quality, comfortable and loaded with lots of standard options included.
My first caddy was a 2012 srx which was the old version of the new xt5 which I currently own and the improvements are great. Gone are all the blind spots looking forward that were caused by massive mirror and windshield pillar. Line of site is greatly improved. I wish it was built a little lower because it is very prone to cross winds.

Wish it was smoother but a good car.
Cadillac xt5 offers good fuel economy with the base engine. The helping system in the car is extremely reliable and helpful. The various settings on the car helps a lot to the driver as well as the passenger. However, it is not the most comfortable SUV to be in. Although its large and has decent space in the back, my passengers in the back have often complained about the headroom and the movement while driving. All in all, it's a good car but wish it was a smoother drive.

Very nice interior! And nice model.
The comfort of the car is really nice and comfortable. The reliability is overall 10/10 in my opinion and experience. The features are really nice and new. I haven't had any problems with this car so far since I have only had it for 6 months. The performance is pretty good.

I have had a 2017 Cadillac XT5 and now I have the 2019 Cadillac XT5. Both luxury models The brakes in both cars squeaked very badly I am a Real Estate Broker and this is an embarrassment for me It is also an embarrassment for Cadillac! I have had my 19 in the Shop at least 4 times in less than a year for these squeaky brakes no one seems to help me they say they can't hear it! You can hear me going down the street blocks away it is 1 of my pet peeves and I should not have to pay $500 a month to live with that on a lease My 2017 XT5 brakes squeaked as well until they change the brake pads. They won't change them on this car! And I've bought Both cars from the same dealership in less than 2 years! I am tired of going there!

Cadillac xt5 for everyone.
My Cadillac xt5 is an outstanding SUV. Handling, comfort and safety are at the forefront of my Cadillac xt5. The SUV sit up and is smart looking. This is my second xt5. Basically with regular service and tire rotation the vehicle is maintenance free. Cadillac does not have free maintenance on this vehicle as in the past. The xt5 only gets about 20 miles per gallium on the highway!

Cadillac xt5 for the new generation.
My new Cadillac xt5 is stylish, comfortable, sleek and well-designed. I traded in my 2016 xt5 to purchase the new one! Cadillac serviced my vehicle faithfully. My vehicle is white with a very light interior. The cargo room is very sufficient. The drawbacks to the xt5 are 20 miles per gallon, and poor visibility thru the back window!

The best car we have ever owned. Quiet, well appointed, great styling and handles like a sports car. The soundproofing is so good that you cannot hear the engine running when in park. I am a car guy who is thoroughly impressed with the performance, handling and fuel efficiency of the XT5!

Is very comfortable and reliable. It is very good in gas. Is also very quiet while on the highway and has nice leather interior. The exterior is beautiful and has a lot of extra features. The trunk is big and the seats fold down for extra room also the front seats are adjustable.

Cadillac xt5 not as premium as it should be.
Hate the auto off - must have a disable feature. The transmission is not as smooth as expected for luxury vehicle. There is more wind noise on the highway than there should be for such a luxury vehicle. This is especially evident with the screen opened above the panoramic roof.

Cadillac SUV takes the cake
The back seat slides forward and backward, which makes for easier installation of car seats. Heated steering wheel and seats are a nice perk. The SUV drives smoothly, and is fully automated (windows, seats, etc). There is also a hands-free system that allows you to safely drive.

Best midsize luxury SUV for the price.
I really like the performance of this car. Very good handling, and gas mileage. Like the interior leather seats of the car, they clean up very easily. Very comfortable. All wheel drive in the winter. All the features you would expect from a luxury vehicle but at a very reasonable price point. I think the perfect size for a mid-size SUV. Not too big, but very comfortable and plenty of trunk space for trips.

Cadillac xt5 step up from sts series.
No problems so far. Performance and reliability are top notch. The car is stylish and looks great. They really put thought into the trim details. The trunk is roomy and the back seats are slightly elevated and have a ton of legroom for passengers. Overall I am very happy with my car!

I absolutely love my car. The comfort, safety and style are the best. This is my first luxury car. The heated leather seats are extremely comfortable. I also love the heated steering wheel on cold days. The safety features are amazing as well. It also has automatic rain sensors. The windshield wipers will come on automatically.

Interestingly, has quite good gas mileage for such a large vehicle.
Very comfortable and stylish vehicle. Do not like then pearlized white color of exterior. Performance has been great. Recently took a road trip to FL and got fabulous gas mileage. Quite reliable. Love the service and attention to detail and customer that being a Cadillac owner gets me.

No available CD player at any trim level.
Has been very reliable. Performance is great. Love the engine. Front seats are comfortable and roomy. I would opt for the heated seats. Interior quality is good, but too much plastic trim. Not enough options on this model. Does not include heated seats or heated steering wheel. There is no option for a CD player in any trim level.

Enjoying our xt5 Cadillac.
I have driven this Cadillac for around 11 months. I love the look of the car. It has plenty of room which we use when traveling. We. Have not had any problems with the car since we have owned it. The service has been done when needed and they have found no problems with the vehicle at this time.

Very comfortable. Backseat needs more head room for taller adults. Smooth ride and fun to drive. Gas mileage us average but better than earlier version. Climate control works very well. Heated seats in back great. Cooled seats nice. Interior nice.

I just love driving my car.
I have had no problems it is very reliable it is extremely comfortable. The features all work for me with your standard equipment, and I find it really easy to drive. Storage space is perfect, the technology inside is exactly what I need, and the exterior looks extremely stylish.
