2020 Chevy blazer is a very nice crossover.
A very nice crossover SUV fun to drive and very great looking. Handles very well in the snow and other conditions. Heated seats and steering wheel are both very nice in the Colorado winters. I have no complaints of this vehicle and would recommend to someone looking to purchase it.

2020 Chevy blazer is not your ordinary crossover.
The 2020 Chevy blazer is a gorgeous crossover vehicle. I own the redline edition and it has turbo power. It performs like a sports car but offers the room and storage of an SUV. It also comes with all the bells and whistles that are important to me: lane crossing assistance, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.

Extremely Comfortable
What a vehicle, best drive yet out of all the vehicles I've owned. Very classy looking SUV with al the trim features available. The transmission has 5 drive positions which make driving a snap, 2X, 4X, Hilly, Sport and Towing. All this coupled with a 9 speed transmission. Great vehicle.

Love this car!
This car is so comfortable. We have never had a problem of any kind so far. We have plenty of room for groceries, grand kids, suitcases. When we go on long trips the seats in front and in back are very comfortable. There is plenty of leg room for the tall folks. The heated seats and steering wheel automatically come on when its cold outside and the air in the seats come on automatically when it's hot outside. I love my blazer.

Great look, great comfort, and great performance!
The pick up is really perfect and powerful. The seats are very comfortable. I love the sleek design and shape of the car. It has a smooth drive and all of the features are easy to use. I love the size of the touch screen on the dash, it is easy to see, read, and use. The reverse camera is very clear and has a more accurate show of behind you than many of the cars I have driven before. The breaks are not harsh, when you stop it feels natural and you do not have to worry about accidentally stopping short when you first start to drive it.

Fabulous new ride: long car rides made easy!
I have absolutely loved my new 2020 blazer! It is very reliable, great performance, and very comfortable. I drive a lot (2 or more hours a day) and I am very pleased with my purchase! It is so comfortable and reliable! The heated seats, remote start feature, and apple carplay are the top three things!

Blazer 2020: an excellent option.
It is almost perfect, the only problem that I have it is about gasoline consumption, it is expensive to get a full tank of that. In other hand, it is good vehicle, very familiar, comfortable, spacious, reliable, luxury and technological vehicle considering the relation cost/quality.

Best of all we tested
We test drove several different vehicles from several manufacturers and without a doubt the Chevy Blazer was the best of the lot. Surprisingly, the Toyota Highlander was the worst of the lot due to high levels of road noise. We drove the Blazer over the same stretch of road just to be sure it was the vehicle and not our bias toward this vehicle. We ended up with the 2LT model with a V-6 engine. What a powerhouse of an engine. Also, I am an amputee and the doors are large enough for me to easily get in and out of this vehicle. Again, the Toyota Highlander was the worst for this attribute. I think GM hit a home run with this vehicle. Time will tell as we drove our old Malibu Maxx for 15 years with nothing more than routine maintenance.

308-hpv-6 and the rs model s torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system.
The 2020 blazer is a mostly ordinary crossover with exaggerated styling. With an aggressive front end and rakish bodywork, this two-row mid-size definitely stands out, even compared with its diverse competitors. The blazer supports its sporty looks with engaging driving dynamics, especially when equipped with the 308-hpv-6 and the rs model's torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system. Inside, there's a spacious back.

Not what I expected it to be.
I was so excited to get the Chevy blazer because it brought back memories of my childhood. Unfortunately the new blazer is nothing like the 80’s k5 blazer. It has a lot of great features and gadgets though and is a very comfortable car. Paint job on them is cheap though and I always seem to be finding chips and so forth in my paint job.

What Do Critics Say About the Chevy Blazer?

  • Consumer Reports says the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is a modern SUV focused on styling and tech rather than off-road features, with average owner satisfaction scores.
  • Edmunds rates the Blazer at 4.1/5, praising the smooth suspension at highway speeds, but doesn’t like the limited headroom for rear passengers.
  • Kelley Blue Book users give the 2020 Blazer a 4.4/5, enjoying the great technology, but owners don’t like the weak base engine.

What Common Problems Does the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer Have?

Common problems found on the 2020 Chevy Blazer include the rear hatch opening on its own, uneven tire wear, along with a speed sensor issue. Overall, these problems are not very serious compared to other compact SUVs on the market, leading to lower repair bills.

The rear hatch opening on its own is the most widespread complaint from 2020 Blazer owners in the first 5,000 miles. Usually, the problem is just caused by a damaged or dirty sensor, which makes the Blazer think the hatch release was pressed. Replacing the sensor costs around $85, depending on local labor rates.

Uneven tire wear is another issue reported by Blazer owners at around 10,000 miles. Most of the time, uneven tire wear is simply a sign of poor alignment. Driving on uneven roads or on dirt a lot can throw the suspension out of alignment. Having the vehicle aligned is just part of the routine maintenance, and costs around $100.

Speed sensor issues also show up on some Blazer models at around 1,500 miles. This is just caused by a damaged or faulty speed sensor from when the vehicle was new. Most of the time a speed sensor replacement will be covered for free under warranty, although if it fails out of warranty it’s around $250 to replace.

There are three recalls on the 2020 Chevy Blazer, which is similar to other compact SUVs from the same year. The most serious recall is for missing bolts on the start/stop accumulator. Chevy will install new bolts on affected models for free. The other recalls cover air bags along with a tire failure, which are less widespread.

How Long Will the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer Last?

A well-maintained 2020 Chevy Blazer can last around 250,000 miles, which is around 50,000 miles less than the long-lasting Toyota RAV4. Regular annual maintenance costs are similar to other small SUVs, according to data provided by Repair Pal, at $403 per year.

As a used 2020 Chevy Blazer reaches 100,000 miles owners should be prepared to replace the crankshaft position sensor for $200, seat heaters costing $270, along with the chocks and struts which cost $550.

How Is the Technology?

Entertainment technology is great in the 2020 Chevy Blazer since it offers a standard 8-inch touchscreen stereo system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Optional upgrades include more powerful stereo systems, along with wireless phone charging.

Standard safety technology is fairly basic, only offering a rearview camera and teen driver mode which allows you to set speed and volume limits.

Optional advanced driver assistance features include:

  • Forward collision warning
  • Pedestrian detection
  • Automatic high-beam headlights
  • Rear cross traffic alert
  • Lane keep assist
  • Safety alert seats
  • Forward automatic emergency braking
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane departure warning
  • Surround-view parking camera system

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer a Good Value?

Yes, the 2020 Chevy Blazer is a good value since it’s cheaper than many of the other compact SUVs on the market. The blue book fair purchase price ranges from $22,950 to $39,998, making it less than a Honda CR-V or Mazda CX-5. When new, the price range was $28,800 to $45,600. Depreciation is similar to other small SUVs, losing about 10% of its current value per year.

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The first generation of the new Chevy Blazer was introduced for the 2019 model year, after the name being out of production since 2005.

2019: First model year for the new Chevy Blazer with a standard 4-cylinder engine or optional V6, with enough room for up to five passengers.

The GMC Terrain is another small SUV which is available for around $1,500 less. Passenger room is a bit better in the GMC Terrain, while predicted reliability ratings are higher in the Chevy Blazer. We recommend the Chevy Blazer since ownership costs should be lower as it ages.

The Jeep Cherokee is a competitor available for around $1,000 less. Off-road performance is much better in the Jeep Cherokee, while the Chevy Blazer offers a smoother ride on the road. We recommend the Chevy Blazer, although both are decent small SUVs, so it’s worth test driving both to see which you prefer.

Piece of JUNK!
My 2020 Blazer RS is a piece of c**p. It is in the shop as I write this. My Blazer has only about 1600 miles because I am a 100% retired disabled Army veteran and, I love being home with my family. The battery was replaced about 4 months ago. That is 2 months before my 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty ran out. This is the worst car that I have ever owned and, I've owned a lot of cars in my 74 years.

Size, speed, and appearance really make this vehicle worth it.
After going from a Cruz to a blazer there was a brief adjustment period. However, the blazer is a vehicle that I certainly do not regret leasing. I got a more stylish version of the vehicle with black rims and blacked out Chevy emblems. I also put rain guards and a bug deflector on the vehicle myself and it truly improves the look to the car.

The car is really nice. I think it gives way too many messengers that do not make much sense until you look them up. I wish it would clearly tell you how many miles to e or at least change the wording in the panel so you know what it is. It is a pretty smooth ride though. 2020 blazin blazer review.
I absolutely love my new 2020 blazer. I was skeptical at first since my first vehicle was a 1976 blazer. But it was redone so nice! Pictures do not do it justice. Once you go see it in person and drive it, you are wowed! Which is how it should be when you are picking out a new vehicle. It looks sporty, yet classy! The inside is also sporty, yet classy. And has all the features you could think of. The only downfall in my opinion is the cup holders and the rear view mirror adjustability. I wish it had two different sizes for the cup holders. And as far as the rear view mirror, I am tall, I would like it to be able to have more range. It is not a deal breaker but would be nice. Overall I love every about my new car. Chevrolet went above and beyond with the 2020 blazer rs package!
Not many issues at all with this vehicle. I bought it when they first hit the showroom floor. It burned oil at first but after two oil changes. Not a problem any longer. I got the rs, mostly because it did have the v6 engine option and was not a continuous variable transmission like most SUVs are going to these days so the vehicle definitely has the get up and go that I prefer. The ride in general in very smooth. I live out a country road so lots of bumps and barely noticeable.

So happy I bought my blazer!
I have had my blazer for 2 months and I love it! No problems and drives so well! The engine is very quiet and has really great get up and go for a 4 cylinder. It has a lot of fancy features that you would expect in the higher end model. I would highly recommend a Chevy blazer to anyone and everyone!

Very sporty, comfortable SUV.
I love the blazer rs, it has a very sporty look with great wheels. It has great pick up and many added features that are helpful with safety. The radio can be controlled by things on the steering wheel. It accelerates well and has good pickup. It is very easy to handle and takes curves very well. The interior is very comfortable and has a lot of space in the hatchback area. It also has a button to turn off the feature that stops the car when you are at a light. The interior is very sporty and comfortable.

This vehicle is sleek and comfortable.
I have only had the vehicle about 6 months and have not had any issues with it so far. I love the look of it because it is sporty. It drives smooth and I love that is 4wd. It is also roomy for a smaller SUV. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a midsize SUV.

2020 never looked this good.
This vehicle is great and has caused no problems thus far. It's under warranty if anything happens and that means so much to me as I can drive and not worry about what and if something may occur. Great vehicle so go out and buy it as its great and no worries.

My favorite vehicle fully loaded with all of the features anyone would love.
It is brand new so I have had no problems with it. The color is midnight blue and is a rally sport. It has a sunroof and is fully loaded with everything. It drives like a dream and I enjoy driving it very much. It has heated seats as well as cooling seats. The sound system is awesome sound and it is my favorite vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle to everyone.

Overall a great vehicle for our family!
I love the look and comfort of my vehicle! It is spacious for my child and have lots of trunk space. The vehicle is great on gas and has lots of high end features. My only complaint is that I would like more cup holders. I have really enjoyed this vehicle and the extras such as power liftgate and heated seats! I like the SUV feel without being to big!

Chevrolet blazer the best car on the road!
I love my car it has room for everything I need to carry and also goes fast with the rs package! It has heated and cooled seats in the front and heated in the back which makes it comfortable for long distances for all individuals riding! It also has automatic headlights when another car is coming towards me they automatically dim!

Chevrolet blazer is amazing.
It is really a nice car and I recommend it to any family. It is on the smaller side but is really good for the price and reliability. If performs very well and it really comfortable. To get all of the fancy features you need the premier package which also bumps you up to a six cylinder engine.

Think camaro meets crossover.
I love my blazer. I was worried about going up to a crossover because I had only driven sedans or smaller most of my driving life. But after my husband and I did some searching, we found the stylish and appealing blazer. It was only 7 inches longer than my 2017 Cruze and so after my test drive I was sold. It has all the get up and go of a sedan with the stylish interior of a camaro and the AWD capabilities of a crossover. It was said in many articles that it was a camaro crossover. I also love all the safety features, like lane assist and crash reduction as well as adaptive cruise. I would recommend the blazer to anyone looking to upgrade from a sedan.

This vehicle is a dream car, it is very reliable and comfortable.
The 2020 Chevy blazer is a dream car. It drives very nice on the highway, is a reliable car, and has great mileage. I feel like I am secure in the vehicle, it has wonderful features such as the stereo system, heated seating, and an amazing camera system, along with a very nice, fancy exterior design.

2020 Chevy blazer review-perfect.
I love the color choices of the exterior and the interior red trim of the 2020 Chevy blazers. The automatic lights and heated seats are new for me and a pleasant upgrade. I wanted something bigger than a sedan and it does not disappoint. It drives nice and smooth. I am so glad I updated from a 4 cylinder!

Guys! That gas mileage through.
This vehicle is by far the best car I have owned! The gas mileage is incredible. The tank holds roughly 18 gallons and last me 400-500 miles on average. The interior of the car is by far my favorite part of the car. It's very spacious. The CarPlay stereo helps time pass by on long road trips.
