Great first electric vehicle experience!
It is a really great vehicle, and a great experience as my first electric vehicle. Charging is easy, and all the features are really good. The only thing that is missing is homelink for a garage door opener. We have only owned it for a few months, but everything has been pretty good so far.

The good and the bad, I'd do it again.
Husband and I each own the 2020 Chevy bolt and we love them. Mine has had a battery issue in which one of the cells in the battery was bad. Now one section of the battery cluster has to be replaced. It has so far been in the shop for about a month waiting on a special tool the dealership needs to replace it. Our other bolt has had no problems at all. They are fun to drive, peppy, roomy for as small as they look.

Some learning curves, but overall and amazing intro to evs!
We used our bolt to move cross country from NYC to Iowa! While it is a little tedious to have to stop every couple of hours to charge, with a little planning it is not so bad. And in a situation where we weren't dealing with a global pandemic, the charge time gives everyone time to stretch, go to the bathroom, eat, etc, which passes the charge time and is nice on a 2 day drive. Shocking amount of space for the outside appearance of the car, I couldn't believe how much we've been able to pack into this car since we got it.

2020 bolt ev for local driving.
Very roomy. Comfortable and quiet ride. Bigger than expected cargo capacity. Quick acceleration. Braking is exceptionally good when using regenerative braking. Range decreases a lot when driving at highway speeds. This vehicle is best for driving around town and short trips (less than 100 miles) out of town.

Anti Lock brakes electronic stability control.
A car’s airbags will deploy in a crash and cushion both the driver and passengers from common impact points, like the steering wheel, dash, and sides of the vehicle. You would be hard-pressed to find a car that did not have airbags in it, but when shopping for a car make sure the airbags have not been recalled. Also, check for safety features that will turn off the airbags if a child is placed in the front seat, as airbags are quite dangerous when children are not riding in the back.

The Chevrolet bolt ev is really fast.
My 2020 Chevrolet bolt ev is affordable and is great quality with well performing speed. You can customize the type of Chevrolet that you desire to have of course. The 2020 Chevrolet bolt ev is a smooth riding experience and it stands out. The car itself can range from 3,535 to 3,637 pounds. It is really fast and you'll love it. I believe it does not have a manual but that is ok.

Amazing little car hard to believe it's all elective.
I haven't had any problems. It is very confidante, convenient, versatile and spacious. Rides great. Lots of power. Quick. Fun to drive. I have the oasis blue and it is q head turner for sure. I get a lot of compliments on it. My husband had one as well and we will not look back.

Love driving an electric vehicle.
Very low maintenance costs. Great performance and acceleration. Very low electric costs. Love the recharge braking in low gear to recharge batteries when going downhill and not having to use the friction braking. Car is very quiet no engine noise at all. Only downside is using the heater in winter months.

Family left because they hated the car.
Just not a good enough car for me. It's not fun to drive. I would recommend deeply against getting what I have. I hate it and it's ruining my life how much I hate it. My family literally left cause they hate this car so much I don't know what to do anymore god.

The amazing car of the year.
It has a very nice interior along with a great, reliable engine and tires so you will not be getting stuck anywhere anytime soon. I love how the multimedia system has different channels and a CD player which you do not find in a lot of new cars. It is a great car overall.

Fun But Has Issues
The electronics connectivity is appalling. Sometimes the flat screen does not start for 10 minutes. There is no bluetooth hands free calling. The phone connection needs to be redone occasionally if you have more than one phone. The heater/air conditioner selection is on the touch screen that doesn't always come on. This is 1980's electronics in 2020. The car is more fun to drive and more capable than we expected it to be.

Reliable, thrifty and fun love it
We are a retired couple 71 and 68. We purchased a 2019 Chevy Bolt EV May 19, 2019. Currently, we have approximately 24,500 miles, this is in less than 11 months driving . Our total maintenance has been. 3 tire rotations and changing the cabin filter. We are on a fixed income. Monthly savings has been approximately $350 to 400 per month in gas alone. We love this car. Seats are fine even on a long trip, Winter Range in below zero weather at 80% charge between 165 to 180 miles. Starts like a light switch heater starts working immediately. I could start it before leaving also. Heavy car almost 4K lbs+ front wheel drive=good in snow. We didn’t change to snow tires. If we lived in a mountainous region maybe, Just a tip I use the L setting for max regen therefore my car stops using mostly the electric motor. Even in the pack snow and ice of our midwestern winters I’ve found good results. We had no range anxiety whatsoever. The regen I’ve noticed is really great. I live in a river valley in Illinois with lots of hills and flatlands. My wife says this car is like the man you want in your life “dependable “ and “low maintenance”. I have not noticed any degradation in the battery. Now it’s summer and my range has actually improved to 260 miles or max of 296, if I drove I guess at 40 mph all day. My wife loves to drive it and I do too. It has brought fun back to driving. We drive 3 Or 4 times a week to give our big kid a break from her 2 kids. 55 miles One Way mostly at 75 sometimes 85. On the tollway. Passing is a breeze since There is no lag and it has a hell of o pickup. Blown the wheels of a Mach. Only bad thing we found was Android integration sucked when we first got it, but appears to have been fixed. Only fixed cost were installation of 50 amp outlet (250) Mustart level 2 charging cable 236 bucks. We get approx 28 miles per hr at approximately 6 cents a kWh. (We are on hourly rate per Com Ed we saved $197 since switching from flat rate. Make sure to check this plan out. Word about retirement from a person who retired early. You have the choice to buy an Ice car or a Chevy Bolt. The Bolt has Approximately 13 moving parts vs over 2k parts including little washers, plastic pieces etc. That are constantly subjected to extreme heat, taxes, 110 per hour labor charge. In the long run what is cheaper? I’ve owned 17 vehicles. Best car has been electric ergo the 2019 Bolt Premier. PS the Tesla Model 3 was approximately 18k more than what we paid. I don’t need super chargers or autonomous driving yet. I also own a 2019 Ford Ranger commonly known in our house as “the shelf”. We drive it that little.
