Tiny car that is reliable.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

My car is a 2 door, which makes it almost impossible to drive a group of people. I usually friend with friends if we're driving as a group somewhere. However, my car has been very reliable. I haven't had a lot of mechanical issues. One time the a/c went out because a coil burned up and I have had tires go flat (which is going to happen no matter what car you drive). I make sure to keep up on oil changes, which I believe has helped extend the life of my vehicle. It is a small car, which is good for fitting into tight parking spaces but bad for looking directly below you. The gas mileage is also pretty great. I do not remember what I get a gallon, but I can go quite a while before adding more gas.

2008 Chevy Cobalt LT coupe

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

It was great for a first vehicle. The mileage is excellent; I can easily make a tank of gas last around 2 weeks only costing about $25 to fill up. It is compact which can make hauling things a hassle, but the trunk is very spacious. Getting into the backseat is difficult for larger people/item like car seats. I've had this car for 11 years and never had a serious mechanical problem. The speakers did go out last year, but considering how much I use them it was expected. This car picks up speed fast and easily maneuvered through traffic or just downtown parking scrunch. Overall performance, it's met all my needs and has been reliable for years and still doesn't have any signs of break down.

Great little car for traveling light!

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Love the car size and mileage. My only complaint is the opening of the trunk is too narrow to fit most boxes or a large suitcase. Very reliable, I have no engine problems, and I change my oil as soon as I get the notice on my dash. Child lock doors and windows are a great option also. One thing that isn't reliable is the tire pressure monitoring system. Went out and I replaced but it went out again. It been a great little car for me.

Great Car, Just a Little Rusty

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

The Chevy Cobalt is a cute car. It's like an upgraded Cavalier. I have had few problems with my Cobalt. The only problem I've had is with rust. My hood is rusting out horribly, but the rest of the car is good. I love the audio controls on the steering wheel and the AUX cord capability. The Cobalt is sharp and drives like a dream.

My car is fire-truck red with a spoiler on the back.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

I have had frequent problems with the front tire shocks. I also wish I had bought a sedan instead of a coupe, because the doors are big and heavy, and I can lose my grip on them when the weather is very windy. Other than these problems, I love my car. It can go fast when I need it to and it is got good gas mileage.

A bit small for a person who is 5'11.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

I love my cobalt, but it is a bit cramped being a 2 door. It is extremely reliable though. Unfortunately, the radio is a bit busted, so the speaker does not work on one side. Sometimes the trunk does not open either. Lights are very bright and brights are even brighter. Always hitting the horn on accident though.

Awesome car. Would purchase again if I had the chance.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

The only issues I have had is factory recalls and they have all been taken care of. I love my care have owned it for 6 years. I purchased it used and it was in good shape and still is. I take very good care of my car and followed all needed maintenance required by the purchase and have owned my care since 2016.

- Laura C

My car is in good shape it only has some rust cause it came from different state

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Nothing my car is in good shape it has no problems but the tire light in my car keeps coming on due to the fact that I have to change my tired but that is about it nothing else the engine and everything is pretty much good the only thing that needs to be worked on is the key locking up when the battery is dead

A basic, but very good car

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

My car is small, which is very nice because I am below average height and it makes it easier for me to see. Gas mileage is very good I typically only spend $20 to fill it up. My car is very reliable so far, I've only had a problem with my universal joint, but the dealership was very nice about fixing it.

Reliable cobalt: 2 thumbs up!

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

The cobalt runs really well. Its 11 years old now, and in the time I have had it, I haven't had any problems with the way it runs. With regular maintenance and upkeep, it is very reliable. One thing worth mentioning is that the speakers in the front (located on the doors) do not work reliably.

- Olivia T

Not a bad vehicle for the price. Nice and small good on gas

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Have a lot of problems with the headlights always burning out you always have to replace them. I've had problems with changing my oil as well when I take it to a shop they always have problems with getting the filter out. I always have problems with the gear shift it broke a few times

- Crystal W

It is 11 years old and still runs amazingly with only minor issues.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

This car has literally been all over the world and has not had many issues. It is 11 years old and almost 150,000 miles but it still runs beautifully. The heated seats, the aux port, and the sunroof are just added bonuses to the car. The leather seats are comfortable and easy to clean.

- Savannah H

It has a great dash monitor. Everything is electronic.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

It's fantastic on gas and hardly ever has problems. The only two things wrong with these cars are the transmission and timing. I got them both changed 2 times already in the past 3 years. This car has great features on the inside. The radio has satellite connections and aux.

- haley E

It's a good little car, but next time will buy a bigger vehicle.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Never no problems and owned since 2009. Small but drives great. Also always change the oil. Because it's small it's not the most comfortable but it's ok for a small family. Very reliable on gas mileage. Cloth seats which stain easily, I wish the seats were leather or vinyl.

- Denise C

My beat up 2008 Chevy Cobalt...

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Bad brakes, needs an oil change, Rusty wheels, needs new windshield wiper motor. Needs new rear arm control bar, and is filled with trash... Other than that it works pretty good, has 105718 mileage on it... Paint job is great, really love how it really gets up and goes...

- Adam P

In my opinion a good starter car to have

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Sensor on toes always have issues to the point that I ignore it when it comes on. One time I got it fixed but a week later it came back. And I haven't really experienced any huge issues with the car. Other than that I really don't have anything to complain about the car.

- Brandon W

The classy cobalt. Dark blue/gray tinted window nice rims.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Great compact car. Drives smooth. Good starter car. Easy maintenance. Nice updated power windows automated locks and security system. Reliable car. CD players as well as aux cord capabilities to listen to your own music. Nice rims and tires as well. All around good car.

- A T

The interesting detail is that it can make on road trips and back on about

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

My vehicle is a good vehicle it saves on gas and it rarely breaks down yes it's an older model but it still gets me where I need to go. The cons are that the a/c barely works and don't have emergency lights but the car is easy to fix. My vehicle is also very durable.

- kyra J

Pretty, but think about latter

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

I like the coup I bought. The sporty look is what drew me. Along with the manual transmission. I do wish I had thought about the possibility of car seats in the back. It is difficult to use the back facing car seats in this car. A 4 door would have been much easier.

- Chris F

Too small - weird wiring - not a good car for families or more than 1 person.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Wiring seems to be bad, everything electric in the car goes in and out since the day I bought it. Too small of a car. Wish they left the backseat out to give more room in the car. If I could go back I would have bought a bigger car, but this one was in my budget,

- Lindsay H

Chevy cobalt 2008 lt affordable and reliable transportation.

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

I love my car! It was affordable and it has proven to be reliable. Gets me from point a to point b with no issues. It is comfortable to drive and affordable to fix. I rarely have any issues, basic maintenance keeps it running like a charm. Highly recommended.

- Cheyenne A

Great car for your teenager to start learning the responsibility of having a car

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

Out of the 3 cars I had this is the best one simply for the fact that it is great on gas, easy to maintain, and when it comes to repairs it is not to expensive for parts. Great on gas, great on gas. This is a great car for your kid to start out with!!

- Zach K

Loving it

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT

love love this car is got me to a lot of different states. It's reliable. It's great on gas is perfect from first car. The only thing wrong with it is my speakers blue very fast
