Love this truck, purchased 4 years ago. Truck was in storage for almost 5 years in barn with only 16k on it. Had to change tires, brakes and fluids and have no had any issues. Just turn 40k on it. Only problem the 4 cyl lacks power on hills and when pulling my cargo trailer with only 400 lbs on it. One think it loves the fuel. The body on this truck is mint Ben offered more than i paid but the "Bbabe Magnet " lol is not for sale. Its winter stored every year.

Amazing mid size truck that delivers amazing performance at an affordable price.
I really like my vehicle because it is a compact truck, but it also has four wheel drive which allows me more options for being able to out in inclement weather. I am a big fan of all the space my vehicle offers, and I have enough bed space for my hauling need. The vehicle has never let me down while I have been driving, and I don't think it ever will.

Love my Colorado! It is my dream truck and I wouldn't trade it for the world!
I love my vehicle, it runs nice for being a 2011 vehicle. It has 4 wheel drive to help in the winter months, which is extremely nice and reliable. The 4 doors and seats for 6 ensure my kids can get in and have lots of room and comfort in their seat. I can haul a ton of stuff with confidence and no need for help from others!

Review of Chevy car that I love.
Vehicle has performed quite well. I have not really had much trouble. The only issue was my engine light kept going on. I noticed this was the case anytime it was colder out. I took it to the shop and they said it was nothing to worry about. Other than this the vehicle has been great.

The gas mileage is exceptional considering that it is a four wheel drive. This truck is perfect for someone like myself who lives in a very rural area that tends to get muddy and has to travel quite a ways for basic daily needs. It's got good power and a roomy interior
I love my Chevy Colorado because it is a v6 4x4 and it gets terrific gas mileage. I have had very few problems with this truck and the few i have had i was able to take care of myself. The only thing i wish is that the back seat was a little more roomier

Goes' well but electrical 'gremlins' always creating issues.
Electrical issues abound, had to replace wires in driver's side door and steering column. Handles more like a car than a truck. Battery constantly needs replacing. Strange knocking in undercarriage that no mechanic can figure out. Armrest broke within a week of buying. No lock on glove box. CD player glitchy and will not work 99% of time and if CD left in place will eject and reinsert itself while truck is off, running down battery.

I love my truck and get upset when someone does not take care of it.
I love that I can fit my family in it. I love the way I feel when I drive it. I wish it had better gas mileage than a full size being a small one.

Great buy for used truck.Chevrolet.
Engine runs great, no high mileage. Only issue is new transmission needed soon..But runs smooth and the brakes are new. Car is in good shape for the year it is. Interior is good shape no tears or rips. Requires a lot of gas. Rotators in good shape. No rust or scratches on truck.

Chevy Colorado 2011 / West Virginia.
This truck has no power or acceleration speed. Slow on the hills. The interior is not holding up well. The driver's seat has a hole in it. The truck is not too comfortable for long travel. However, mechanically the truck is good. No major issues but I do regular maintenance and have oil changes, engine checks, etc on schedule.

If you are in need of a smaller pickup, I would highly recommend the Chevrolet Colorado.
This is a unique Chevy Colorado. It is not 4-wheel drive, but it was built on a Z71 chassis, so it sits very high. Great little truck.

This truck is dependable and drives like a bigger truck, with the convenience of a mid-size!
I love the style of truck and how it handles. I wish it wasn't so old, as there are some repairs needed. It's also a bit light and doesn't handle well in ice. I love the size and Chevy is always a winner!

Passlock
The vehicle has a big problem with the Pass lock system. When this happens you’re not able to start the vehicle. It’s part of the ignition system and to replace the cylinder is extensive work. If this happens to you place your ingnition to “On” and leave it there foe 10 minutes, then turn it back “Off” , then to full start. It should work then. I believe a recall is needed.

2011 Chevy Colorado a good truck to buy!
No problems in 78,000 miles good running vehicle. Although could be better on gas for a five cylinder engine but at the same time has good torque. I didn't like that I couldn't play music over the Bluetooth. It was only for phone calls in car. Overall good truck.

Underrated truck with some nit picks.
The truck is a 3.7l engine and wastes little to no gas which is great. Since it is a work truck, it is not all that fancy and comfortable inside but it gets the job done. For example, there’s no motors in the doors for windows, very small and compact in the cab, etc. The vehicle runs pretty smooth.

It is a red pickup truck with 4 doors that seats us and the grandbabies.
I love my truck it gets 30 miles per gallon of gas. Do not burn oil. Big seats.Cool air. Warm heat. Love the red paint. With that being said. When stopping on a hill it rolls back. We will fix that. It is a truck we have been waiting for some time now and we are so happy to have it as part of our household now. It makes us happy and gets us where we need to go.

Red Chevy Colorado with a black cow guard on the front.
Not very big like most trucks and rides extremely well. It's a bright red color. Has a cow guard on it and it's very comfortable. It rides like a car and not stiff like most trucks. It would it been great to have had an extended cab to store things behind the seats.

Tough little work tank that is reliable and safe.
Honestly for over 100,000 miles it has not given me much problems. The tire pressure monitors but out so often that I quit replacing them. It is a reliable truck. I do not worry about breaking down and I drive 60 miles a day. It is not the most comfortable vehicle, but what do you want for a work truck? It is comfortable enough that I never have back pain. It is bare bones on features: standard electrical system and no fun add ons back up cameras (which should be in all vehicles).
accountCircle Julie A on December 3, 2020
It's a cruising truck not a work truck.
I like the truck but it uses a lot of gas and it is very easy to turn over cause so light on back I have had a lot of transmission issues it.Don't have the power you would expect from a truck. It is uncomfortable if you are tall seat sits really close to steering wheel..

The vehicle is one of the most durable.
I really love my vehicle because of the quality of parts that are included and the features are really nice.

That it is dependable. It is also good on gas.
It is good, dependable transportation. It is getting older and experiencing mechanical problems. It is a valued member of the family though.

A must buy vehicle and you won't regret it!
Very smooth ride, very low maintenance, great on gas! Parts are very low priced to fix this vehicle! Very little recall on this vehicle. Hardly any problems with the motor or transmission with this vehicle! A must buy! You won't regret it! Tires last a very long time on this vehicle on everyday driver.

Chevy's dependable little truck.
I have really enjoyed my Colorado. I purchased it certified pre-owned when it was 1 year old. It had about 16000 miles on it. I have had no major issues and the truck just rolled over 100,000 miles. Normal maintenance is all that I have ever needed to do. I would recommend the Chevrolet Colorado to anyone looking for a dependable midsize truck.

2011 Chevy Colorado is worth a try.
I bought this truck new and had no problems with it until it had a little over 100,000 miles at which time I had to have the timing chain replaced. I have now put another 20.000 miles on the truck without problems. Truck is the no frills model, but it has shown to be very reliable.

Mountain truck for New Jersey girl!
It is a pretty basic truck necessary for my work with a beverage company. It is surprisingly easy to drive and comfortable. Has great pick up and few issues. Very attractive looking and good on gas. It is practical for a lot of odd jobs. I like that it is also spacious and comfortable for passengers.

There are known recalls for the ecm.
Like that it is good on gas. Hate that it is short bed. Like the acetylene features. Not a fan of no real car seat placement system. AC takes a little long to get going.

Love my Chevy Colorado pickup truck.
Is a pickup but small enough for me to handle and still have a bed to haul items. Is a 4 door so dogs and or grandchildren can go with me and is a v8 so still have power. I love the ease in driving it and it always looks nice. Even for being a 2011 looks like a new vehicle.

My car is actually pretty good!
My car is pretty good, it functions well and everything. I can rely on is to take me places and people that ride in my car do not have any complaints. It is just rusted and outdated but that is all. And the gas lid never stays on but it does not cause any harm.

I like having a truck with good gas mileage.
I like having an extended cab. I like have a truck bed to haul things. I like setting up in a higher vehicle.

Really good truck for a smaller family.
Great truck. Had to get some cooling work done but it was still under warranty. I have put about 80,000 miles on it most of those on the highway. Smooth ride. Extended cab to fit the kids, not a ton of room in back seat so may need to upgrade when they get a few years older. Short bed so if you need to haul a lot it may not be the best choice. Haven't had to pull too much weight the most had been around 1,000 lbs but it went well and was easy to forget I had a trailer.

Spacious and reliable vehicle
The only issue I really have is I have to recharge my AC about once a year. Other than that it's a really reliable vehicle. I've driven it for 3 years, have 2 kids who fit comfortably in the back in their car seats, and the back is big enough for my 2 dogs to travel in.

Work/Commuter Light Truck
Getting rust along inside edge of liftgate. Vehicle has been very dependable. It used primarily as commuter vehicle getting about 20 MPG. Secondary use as a work vehicle. Little light weight and during winter or off road I do need to add weight in bed - typically 400-600 pounds is adequate. Had it to do again I would have bought 4-wheel drive. Has split doors with two fold seats in back which is nice. Previous truck did not have back seats and would never do that again. Easy access to battery. It does not have Bluetooth capability, it is older vehicle, but I would want that on any future vehicles. Ability to play music direct from cell phone would be nice. Paint, aside from mentioned rust areas, maintaining very well and no issues. Spare is full size which is nice, would suggest that to all instead of non-full size. Mechanism to hold spare in place can be problematic if not used in a while. It will not always release without having to kick or pry on tire but once released it has worked fine. Think the spare tire jack could be a little beefier. It has always done the job but I always worry it will not do the job.

Dependable, could be a little bigger.
A good running truck, it could be bigger. Very low mutinous, I get it service regularly. I would like better gas mileage.

Interesting detail is it is a 5 cylinder.
Truck is very reliable. Has never left me stranded in the five years that I have had it. Strong and durable. Would recommend this truck to anyone and everyone. I don't see myself changing vehicles anytime soon. If I could I would really love another truck just like this one.

I love my Chevrolet Colorado long bed.
Have had none and almost have 200k miles. I keep oil and air filter changed regularly, rotate tires so I get about 70k per set and have only had to replace battery once and keep brakes maintained. It drives and rides like a truck, handles well, is easier to park than those big v 8's and get about 23 miles a gallon on steady highway high speed travel.

Decent 4wd Truck with good gas mileage
Truck has been pretty good to me, it's get's about 20 mpg which is good because I have a long commute. It is also smooth and easy to drive, I have had some problems with it (radiator, water pump, front wheel hubs) but it has been a good vehicle overall.

Great gas mileage. Really comfortable ride.
Hate the seatbelts. Love everything else. It drives great, looks awesome. Plenty of room in the back seats.

The cab, it is extremely cozy and makes me feel like I am sitting in a toaster.
I notice that for as well as it holds up against various roadblocks and obstacles in the road, but the shocks keep the truck quite smooth over the bumps. I really hate how terrible the tires on this are they always pop any time you hit to deep a bump.
accountCircle Albert D on November 27, 2018
The style & looks I can put a lot material inside the bed.
I bought this truck 7 years ago very reliable I have had no major problems. The only thing I wish I would get better gas mileage. My next trick I will shop around. My body is holding up fine I keep the truck outside. I would buy another Chevy Colorado truck.
