Why I Love My 2005 Chevy Equinox

I do not have many problems with my vehicle, although the low gas mileage is often inconvenient. I drive an average of thirty-six miles a day for work and I find that I have an empty tank within four days. On the other hand, this vehicle does great on the roads where I live. I can rely on it to keep me as safe in the snow and rain as it possibly can. It is easy to maneuver despite its size and with the help of the side mirrors and the back windows, I am often able to park or reverse with ease. I, along with my friends and family, enjoy the spacious leg-room in the backseat, and the 'trunk' is also rather large, which makes biweekly grocery trips a breeze. I bought my car with an updated stereo system so I was not able to experience the original stereo quality, but I do appreciate the quality of sound from the speakers, and I have had no issues with the system at all. I have also not had any trouble with the heating or air conditioning. In the winter months, both my front and back windshields defrost in less than ten minutes. In the summer months, I can cool the entire car down in less than two minutes. My windows and sunroof function as they should. I constantly tell those around me how much I love my car, and how lucky I am to have encountered the individual from whom I purchased it.

The car with no power steering fluid is new and the back seat is too upright

The car is ok for me to use. This car does not have power steering fluid which is different from older cars. We had a problem with the braking system where we were told to replace all four sensors which cost $200 each to replace plus labor of $100 for each tires which is $1200 total. The gas mileage is good but not the best. The rear view is kind of limit for some reason the way the car is designed. You can't see much when backing up the car. This 2005 model has problem with the emblem on the front trim of the car which came off from the car wash and damaged worth 195 dollars. With the traction control on, you can feel the car making sounds when making turn around the turnabout. The road is dry, not wet and even the car is not off the road either. The back seat is not very comfortable for long road trip because the seat is straight up. It is not even slanted enough to let your head rest while taking a nap during the long road trip. The key only open one door on the driver side while the weather was snowing or raining making the other person or persons waiting longer to get inside the car.

2005 Chevrolet equinox. Good, dependable ride with lots of features.

My 2005 Chevrolet equinox has heated leather seat, which I truly enjoy in the winter. It has a sunroof. It has been a very reliable vehicle for me. 2 years ago, however, I had to have the head gasket replaced. In speaking with my mechanic, this is a common problem with this make, and engine. I certainly enjoy the room in the bag for groceries etc. There is ample level room in the back seat. My equinox has power steering, electric windows, a very good heater and air as well. Of course it has cruise, and can be set from the steering wheel, as can radio volume and station selection. My equinox includes OnStar, which I truly enjoy. This equinox is an all wheel drive, which makes winter travel easier and less stressful. My equinox gets approx. 19 to 20 mpg with city driving, and close to 30 on the open road. The side mirrors adjust easily from the driver's side. This vehicle came equipped with a tow bar. I have had very few issues with this truck. The seats adjust easily as well as steering wheel, for comfortable driving.
