Good vehicle for those with children who need space and less distractions.

We have had issues with the engine light always being on due to the gas cap. Gas cap was replaced resulting in engine light turning off. However this only lasted about a year and the same problem has arisen. The ride is not as smooth as a person would expect. I personally do not care for the seats. The front seats cause your back to curve in an unnatural manner. The front and the back seats are too high causing extra blind spots and difficulty when backing up. I do love that the car is reliable even on the coldest or hottest of days. The heat and AC work quickly and efficiently. The displays on the dash are great to have as reminders to have oil changed, check tires, and how far you can travel before having to stop and fuel up. There are also buttons on the steering wheel for the radio and volume; this helps to deter from any extra distractions during driving. The impala also has a spacious trunk and backseat locks for infant car seats. There are child locks for those times when you have a curious toddler or child in the backseat.

The very impressive Chevrolet Impala that lives up to the Chevrolet name.

My Impala has only had 2 small problems since owning it. They are the Actuators that control the temperature gauges. When they go out it make a ticking sound that sounds like a card in a bicycle spoke. One is behind the glove box which is easy to get to with a mechanic. The other is up under the steering wheel. Both are small motors that you can change by disconnecting the wire and remove one bolt. The motor coats $70.00. I like the Impala because it has a lot of leg room throughout the car. It comes fully loaded with OnStar as well as XM Radio. I have owned a Pontiac Grand Prix before my Impala and had good leg room, but the Impala has more room than my previous car. It is a very quiet ride and very reliable. It also has the Remote Start in but can only be used when the car is locked from your remote. It has a big and deep trunk that works really well. I will buy another Chevy Impala in the future. It is the best car that I have owned and wouldn't trade for any other vehicle.

My car is white with four doors.

In relation to performance problems that I go through when driving my car, sometimes it does not accelerate as fast as I would like. Another problem I face is that it has a small jump when I have not driven it in a few days. One thing that I can say about my car is that it is extremely reliable. I do not have to worry about if it will start or not. I do not have to worry if it will get me from point one to point two. Also it is fairly simple to get a part fixed or replaced if something breaks. My car is very good at alerting me if something is wrong. Overall my car is extremely comfortable. My only complaint is how the air vents are placed. The driver’s wheel blocks the closest air vent causing it to take longer for me to cool down versus someone in the passenger seats.
