The 2010 Malibu is an amazing one person car that includes tons of benefits!

I really enjoy my vehicle! It is small and compact enough but also makes me feel very safe. I love the cruise control and the volume that are on the steering wheel, that makes it very convenient when I'm driving. It also has a lot of cup holders which for me, is a huge bonus because I always have a lot of drinks in my car with me. My Malibu drives really nice and doesn't make that much sound when I drive it at all which is very nice. It also works really well for me when I live in Chicago for the summer because the gas mileage is decent. I don't have to fill it a lot because the distance I travel is shorter. I don't however love the cloth interior I would much rather prefer leather. It makes everything just messier in my opinion because crumbs and stains stay longer. I also find that the stereo system is out of whack. The aux cord stopped working about 6-8 months ago and I have no clue why because the speaker isn't broken, it has to be in a certain position in order to work which is annoying. I love the color that I chose for the car and it also does not dent super easy which is nice when you tend to bump objects like I do (or when you live in a city and others bump you from time to time). Overall I love this car and want to get another one soon just an upgraded version. It is super easy to drive and very comfortable. I love driving my Malibu.

Chevy Malibu still going strong after about 200,000 miles!

My Chevy Malibu has been very reliable with over 170,000 miles and still going strong. It took me a while to get used to how loud the car is while I am driving. It drives very smoothly, but I can hear the sound of the tires on asphalt much more clearly than I have in other vehicles. This is not something that is annoying or distracting but was something that I showed some concern about when I was looking to buy it. However, I have heard that this is a common experience for those who own a Malibu. Any problems I have had with the car have been minimal and due to the fact that I bought it used. The main frustration I have with the vehicle is that the aux input does not work. I also had to replace a tire monitor sensor, but again, it was a very minor problem and was not related to anything actually wrong with the car itself. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this vehicle.

Looks good and fun to drive, stereo could be better.

Performance is pretty good, has enough power while still getting good fuel economy. Reliability is alright so far, only owned the car for a few months. One time it refused to start for two days. Checked the plugs, coils, fuel pressure, etc.. and everything looked good. After plugging a diagnostic tool in it fired right up and has never had a problem since, must have been some electrical issue. The stereo is lacking in bass so if you're a basshead you'll want to add a subwoofer. It does have bluetooth and 3.5mm aux inputs. The seats are very comfortable and electronically adjustable. overall I like the way the car looks and drives. Complaints: It is annoying that they cover so much of the engine with the plastic intake housing so you have to take that off to get to anything. Also, the tensioner for the serpentine belt is very difficult to get to on this car.

Chevy Malibu: More Ups Than Downs

The Chevy Malibu is a good vehicle. It's reliable and safe to drive. It gets great gas mileage. It's very roomy. The trunk has plenty of space. One problem we've had with the vehicle is the check engine light came on, and we had it checked several times with nothing coming back wrong. We've replaced anything that could possibly have been wrong, but no one could say for sure why it came on. It eventually went away on its own. Another problem we've had is the tire gauge readings have messed up with a lot of rain/moisture in the air. The tires on the right side have shown readings low, and, when you check and leave it on to watch it as you travel, the reading will go up and down as high as what it actually is and as low as 0. Other than that, we've not had any issues, but what we have had are annoying.

Experience with you car and family.

The Chevy Malibu really is the perfect medium between buying an SUV or a larger 4 door vehicle. Not only has our Malibu been the perfect car for just us two, it also was so perfect for when it was mother's car. She hauled us 3 kids around in that car for years, before it was finally my turn. The larger back seats are incredibly roomy and safe for all ages, with easy access for boosters & carriers. The front two seats leaving just enough space for you and your shotgun rider. Lots of storage for all your travel sized necessities, and car belongings. The outside of the vehicle is so nice & slick, leaving the perfect shine for your ride. This really is the single or family car you need.

It is a nice, big car. Electrical problems.

I have had a lot of electrical problems with my 2010 Chevy Malibu. They are all problems that are recalls but they have been 'fixed' before. The brake lights work backwards a lot of the time, like they're on while pushing the gas but then off when apply the brake. I find it very dangerous and I have tried to have it fixed multiple times but the dealership was unable to find the problem. I cannot afford to keep having random things fixed until they find the problem. I contacted gm and they were unwilling to help me with repair bills, so it is still malfunctioning. Electrical problems are brake lights, headlights, airbags, aux port, speakers, rear defrost, Bluetooth calling, door remote.

Dependable.. But for how long?

This car's front bumper is far too close to the ground. It scrapes on everything. The car is wider and longer than I would like which makes its turning radius super wide. If the air conditioning is on while you are trying to increase speed (especially up a hill), you have to floor it for anything to happen. There is static when you use an AUX cord unless you plug your USB charger into the device as well, making a loop that connects back to the vehicle. It does well on gas on the interstate, but city mileage leaves something to be desired. Interior is comfy besides the headrest on the driver's side that pushes forward. Not the best visibility in general from the driver's seat.

Practical and unexpectedly roomy.

The 2010 Chevy Malibu is fairly comfortable to drive. Four-cylinder model gets pretty decent Gas mileage but still has enough to get up and go to move when it needs to. There is enough space in the rear seat to accommodate three car seats and it's also comfortable to seat up to two full grown adults. Trunk space is never been an issue and I was pleasantly surprised by how much could be stowed away. It gave our van a run for its money in just the trunk space area. The ride overall isn't as smooth as I would like it to be but it is certainly not terrible. As a primary commuting car it's functional for both getting back-and-forth to work and carrying our family comfortably .

Chevy Malibu: an all around wonderful vehicle.

I love my Chevy Malibu. I am 6'2 and it provides great leg space and enough space for my family. It is great on gas and very low maintenance is required. I actually had rented a newer model one before getting mine and fell in love with the design, style, & comfort. It is very reliable and has given me almost no mechanical problems at all. The one downside I have noticed is the constant shortage in the passenger side headlight. I have replaced it several times and it has given out about a day or two after getting a new bulb. So I am not sure if that is just a defect of the car, but I have met more than one other Malibu owner that has experience the same issue.

- Ezekiel W

Possibly a mechanic special.

The reliability of this vehicle I would classify as average. While overall it performs well, it has several issues that have been left unresolved by the dealerships mechanics. There is a very definite clunking in the front of the vehicle, I believe in the steering shaft. While it is worse in the winter when the vehicle is cold, it can be heard and felt year round. There are issues with the Traction control where the warning lights come on every time I drive it. They don't stay on so the dealership says it's not covered by recalls. I don't feel that this model is GMs best by any means, but for an affordable vehicle I'd classify it as average.

2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I would like a 2019 just like it please.

The Chevy Malibu LTZ has been extremely reliable. The car feels like it was designed for daily visiting professionals in mind with absolutely everything perfectly positioned. The Malibu has handled extremely well in all types of weather conditions. With recommend maintenance services performed the Chevy Malibu has never failed this owner. The Malibu has the power needed for easy navigation on today's highways and gets decent highway mileage. Honestly the only difficulty I have encountered were complaints from my kids with a cup holders in a door - they are not made for large fast food drink cups, however medium or small drink cups fit fine.

- Catherine R

This vehicle is a reliable ride.

My car is very comfortable, heated leather seats in the winter are a huge plus! The interior is leather as well and quite impressive. It was my first new car and the quality and comfortable really sealed the deal. It is a four door vehicle which makes traveling with others a great experience. It has a smooth ride and is quiet. I travel to Boston often, about an hour and a half ride, and I am always confident that there will be no problems. My only issue is the sun/moonroof. Sometimes it leaks and it causes condensation on the inside of the windows. I would definitely buy the same make again, but I would skip the sunroof.

- Dawn M

It looks nice, has some power.

I have had problems with the front passenger side since the first day I brought it home. Mechanics cannot find the cause. I have had the Chevrolet dealer work on it. They replace parts and say it's fine but in fact the problem still exists. It sounds like something is loose in the wheel, suspension, steering or the front wheel drive. I have also had over 10 recalls. Some were fixed and caused another problem. Too many parts made in china. It would be interesting to know the percentage of parts that are us and china. Is my car really an American made car or just assembled in the us?

- Cynthia M

Reliable and spacious with great gas mileage. Best car I have owned so far.

This car is very reliable. It is longer than standard cars but it has plenty of space especially in the trunk. It gets really good gas mileage for city and highway driving. I has sensors that notify you of your tire pressure for all four tires as well as your oil life. Sometimes the sensors can stop working but nothing too major. It has an AUX port and a CD player. The cup holders are in the side of the doors for the front seat which I don't really care for but they will fit most medium or small size beverages. Overall the car is very comfortable and reliable.

- Kris D

Good on gas but not enough power.

I have had my 2010 Chevy Malibu for just over 4 years now. It is not the worst car I have ever drove but I definitely will not ever purchase another. If you are looking to have a car with even just a little power do not pick this Malibu. 4 cylinder engine does not produce much. But all and all this car has been pretty reliable. No major costly problems. Mine has 135,000 miles on it. The transmission and motor both still sound pretty good. My biggest complaint would be changing a headlight bulb. You have to remove the entire bumper just to do so.

- Matt N

My Malibu baby. I'm keeping this car forever ! Love the way you take those turns

I am 45 yrs old and my Chevy Malibu has been, by far my favorite to date. It has always made me feel safe and comfortable. The leather & suede seats are classy and practical. They keep you warm in the winter (the heated seats are awesome!) And your legs won't stick to the suede in the summer. The sound system is awesome as well. The important things like the motor, transmission and chassis. Are solid and with the normal maintenance has never let me down. Not only that it's a great looking car. I am very happy with my Malibu.

- Jennifer B

Very nice Chevy Malibu sedan.

I honestly love my 2010 Malibu. It's the perfect sedan. I keep a lot of stuff in the back seats, so I find the back very spacious. The truck is also very big, helped with trips out of town. The seats are nice and comfy, and it drives great. Had it for a year so far, and I haven't had any problems with it. Handles well on the highway. Interior is nice, sleek, and very nice on the eyes. I have a white one, with a tan and black interior. One owner before me. 10/10 would highly recommend this car.

- Jill E

Good on gas and mileage. Lots of room.

I like the size and the handling. The thing that I dislike the most are the sightlines. It is especially hard to see people crossing the street in front of me. I have to really peer around the body of the car. I had a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu before this car and did not have that problem. Also, in the 2000 Malibu the steering wheel tilted up more than this one does so I have to move the seat back in order to get in and out of the car since I am short and need the seat pulled up close to drive.

Chevy Malibu 2010 Wear and tear notable Dings on the outside Car still runs great Reliable

As an older car its starting to have mechanical issues. Recently I needed to replace the motor in the windshield. The steering wheel is peeling off. Parts of the car are just breaking down due to wear and tear. The car runs fine, I have always taken care of it and changed oil on schedule. Very reliable and has not left me stranded. I am very comfortable in the car because I have been driving for 7 years. I know it very well. The only issues I see right now are the mechanical issues.

- Eracleo V

It was good but looking for something else.

It has shown it's wear over time. It now takes heavy pressing of the gas to go up a hill. It has had tons of recalls since purchasing it back in 2014. It is a gas guzzler, surprisingly. If I had enough money, I would honestly go with a different car. I do not mind the Chevy brand and I would go for the equinox more than this. I mean, the car is comfortable and it is a pretty decent trunk size for it being a compact car but it is just showing its wear over time, as any car does.

If your wondering what type of car to buy, then Malibu it is!

I have been having my 2010 Malibu for over a year now. I bought it used. I love the way it drives, very smooth! Not rough! I feel very comfortable in it. And also has a lot of space inside, especially in the back area if you have kids. At night when it is dark the inside glows in certain spots in the car thought that was neat. It does great on gas & it does not even take much to fill up which is a plus for me! I have driven this car out of town and it was great not problems!!

- Marissa S

All the specs of the Malibu 2010

It's really smooth, the car does not have too many problems. It drives nice and it has been performing very well with a little amount of work over the years. The car has been very reliable for myself and family. One thing I do not like about the car is how it handles snow in the winter. The car slides pretty easy and if you live in an area with snow you are more likely to get stuck. Some of the features include Bluetooth, air conditioning, heat, cruise control and much more.

- John C

Great for small families.

The Chevy Malibu is a nice size car. I would recommend this vehicle only for a family of three and four the most. If your washing clothes, and or doing grocery it could become very cramped on the inside. The overall ride is smooth however not the smoothest car out there. Bumps on the road and can still be felt from inside the car. As far as height goes the ceiling of the car could be a bit more taller. Overall this car is best for shorter people as opposed to taller people.

2010 Chevy Malibu reliability.

I love my 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. It is very reliable and has never had any major issues. I get decent gas mileage. I have almost 100k miles on the car and it still looks almost brand new. There is no rust or any visible body defects. The only complaint that I have is with the comfort of the seats. It is fine for everyday driving, but for long trips they are not the most comfortable. I do use the lumbar support a lot though. I love being able to adjust it when needed.

- Vanessa N

Heated leather seats, and also it has remote start!

I am the second owner of my vehicle, it is a wonderful car. I have had it for about a year and it only has 64, 000 miles on it. I have never had any problems out of it, it is been the best car I have owned. It is fully loaded with leather seats and even tells you in the dash screen how much air is in each tire so if you think your tire is low or know a tire is low you know which one and exactly how low it is. I love this car!! It has a huge trunk and lots of room!

- Mikayla T

2010 Chevy Malibu can still please you!

Although on the older side, the 2010 Chevy Malibu is still going strong! Tough on gas, the car burns through the tank fairly quickly so depending on how much you drive, you should definitely keep that in mind. Speed-wise, the car is pretty good. Maybe just personally, but the vehicle feels comfortable around 45-50 mph and can sometimes feel a little sluggish on the highway in the beginning of an increased speed, but does really well once the speed is reached.

- Erin G

The Chevy Malibu is a nice mid-sized sedan with style.

My 2010 Chevy Malibu was purchased used in 2013 with a clean title and low miles. It has been a good sound car and has been regularly maintained by certified mechanics. I have had only one major mechanical issue where the shifter would not go into park. That was fixed by a certified gm retailer. The Malibu gets great gas mileage for this size of car and is comfortable to drive. It is rather light when handling on snow, but it is not terrible for a light car.

- Kayla W

This 2010 Chevy Malibu has a unique option. It has OnStar.

I don't have any problems with this car.Great gas mileage and handling is great.I love driving my car..Every one remarks about the beautiful style and shine. It rides great. This Model has 2 Transmissions. Automatic and manual that you can downshift if the occasion comes up. Also you have a control panel that indicates any problems that you should be made aware of to seek a service station. I would recommend this model of vehicle to everyone.

- Beverly H

Leather seat excellent gas saver. Great highway cruiser seat another 4 adults.

I really love the Malibu. I gets very good gas mileage. It is small and compact. I have only experience on problem with my vehicles so far. The passenger seat belt broke. The Chevy dealer wad more than eager to help. I called them on a Monday and my car was ready the next day, only because it was 4 pm when I called. I have two Malibu. They are the most affordable mid-compact car on the market. I will upgrade to the 2017 Malibu upon retirement. I.

- Jacqueline J W

Couple Issues but overall dependable

From the get go it had safety recalls. One for Airbag and one for the electrical harness that would cause the alarms to go off in the cluster. GM offered free repairs for them. Other than that the car has been dependable and fantastic with regular maintenance. Its comfortable, has nice lines, and carries itself well for a four door sedan. Gas mileage averages are good if you are a commuter. Around 31 to 33 mpg. Overall it has taken good care of me.

Chevy Malibu Review 2010 model

It is very reliable and has never had an issue. I do not like that I have to take it in to the shop to get the headlights replaced when they go out. I also do not like the shape of the driver's seat and the passenger seat because they are uncomfortable and hurt my back. The radio works really well and I like that I can control the volume and channels from my steering wheel. The air conditioning and the heat work very fast in the summer and winter.

- Sabrina S

Love my Malibu- great safe car with lots of space for girls day shopping trips!

This car runs great. Wonderful gas mileage makes it great for trips. Plenty of space to store and haul stuff. Comfy seats. I have had this car for 8 years and with over 130000 miles it still runs wonderfully with original motor and transmission. My only complaint is trying to change the headlights. I am usually a do it yourselfer and it is an undertaking to do in my driveway. Handles well in rain and snow with normal tires.

- Kathy T

Chevy Malibu composition.

The Chevy Malibu is a comfortable vehicle for a small family, seating 5 comfortably. My vehicle tends to get 22-23 miles to the gallon on average and has performed above average when it comes to expectations. It has been an everyday driver for the past year, I have only had one minor problem with it and that is a headlight replacement. Other than that it has been a very reliable means of transportation for my family and I.

- Nathan H

My Malibu - the best car for me.

The Malibu lt is large enough to fit 5 adults comfortably. I love the way it handles and the ease of driving. I get great gas mileage on long trips and in town. The seating levels are numerous and the lumbar is perfect. I also enjoy the Sirius XM radio on long trips because I can always depend on my favorite songs in the middle of nowhere. I love the large trunk that is big enough for 4 large suitcases.

- Sharon L

reliable used vehicle that has given me hours of driving enjoyment

I love that my car still drives smoothly even though it has 113,000 miles on it from my job as a home health nurse. I does have a problem with the radio display. The information on the radio display sometimes fades out so that you cannot read the whole display. The radio is functional. This car gets very good gas mileage. It has been a great car to use for a job that requires a lot of driving.

- Melanie F

The perfect car for a small family.

The car is very reliable. I've only had to do regular and expected maintenance on it. The car isn't too big or intimidating to drive, but the back still provides a lot of room for car seats or for bringing things home after shopping. The seats are very comfortable. If I were to get a new car, I would get another or newer model of this car. It's a perfect match for a small family and it feels safe.

- Matthew R

The reasons I absolutely love my Chevy Malibu.

It's the best car I have ever owned I have had no major problems or issues with it its extremely reliable love the look of the car and to be a sedan it has more room than most other sedans absolutely love it the price of the car is a decent amount that fit most budgets you are definitely getting a car that is worth every penny you spend on it would buy another one any day over any other models.

- Stephanie W

Gas mileage is an important quality especially with gas prices.

My Chevrolet Malibu is a very dependable car. The gas mileage on a long distance trip is pretty good. I average about 32 miles per gallon. I like that fact that I can start the car to cool down in the heat. And warm in the cold also has heated seats. The Bluetooth capability is great to for hands free calling and receiving calls. Very comfortable with a lumbar support on the drivers side.

- Robin B

My experience with a 2010 Chevy Malibu has been very satisfactory.

It looks good for a 9 yr old car. I have had few problems with my car. A modular caused. Problems with my brake lights. Took it to the dealer, and they cleaned it off and it worked fine. The other issue was the seatbelt light that was fixed. I drive the car to work every day and it is still reliable. Has 134,000 miles on it. Not great in a lot of snow, the car handles pretty well on ice.

- Valerie B

What makes a Malibu a Malibu. Malibu's are super reliable and comfortable.

The biggest concern is with the right hand side of the passenger windshield, as it makes it hard to see due to how wide the frame is. The car is reliable and comfortable with adequate space in the front and the back. The gas mileage on the car is standard. The car is not the most technological which makes it a good car for those who want a straight forward car without any surprises.

- Fernando C

Comfortable, fitting, controllable, stylish.

Not too many issues with the vehicle. Normal oil changes and the defeat ship helps me to stay on top of my normal wear and tear such as brakes, wheels and motor. Smooth performance, nice control with spacious room. Comfortable ergonomic seats with power motor control provides better posture for driving with cool and hot seat control. Love the Audio. Leather provides easy clean up.

- Rebecca J

I live that it has the Bluetooth and the roadside.

I love my Malibu it has lots of room the features that it has are very nice. I wouldn't trade it for another car it the best car I have had. My car has just about the same things as other cars has Bluetooth has then help lane in it. The way the car handles is just amazing great for first time learning how to drive or even for your very first car. I do very much recommend this car.

- Amelia P

My amazing experience with Malibu's.

I fill up my Malibu once every two weeks depending on where I go. I have had no problems with car since I have owned it. The vehicle drives very smooth and is very comfortable. The seats in my vehicle are gray and they feel really nice. It comes with an aux hole to plug into the radio to listen to your own music and even has the make a call button. I really do love my Malibu.

- Ari V

She’s my best friend! I have named her Britney.

Performs really well. Got my car with 80, 000 miles on it and it is been fantastic on and off the interstate. Very reliable, great gas mileage. Easily adjustable drivers seat. Strong air conditioning and heating system. Very loud on the interstate I will say, though the stereo goes loud enough for it not to be noticeable (unless you are trying to have a conversation).

- Allison H

My dependable, economical Malibu

I 2010 Malibu Chevrolet. Had to replace battery and only been in shop for oil changes., and new tires and brake work one time car very good on gas, 30 mpg, and has plenty of legroom front and back seat. Climate control works very well, and has a lot of space for luggage on trips. I would not want to try to find another car that is this good for the money spend.

- Marie B

My car is great and I am so glad that I am lucky enough to have a car

The air conditioning does not work all of the time and during hot summers, it can be unbearable. With that being said, it is an older car so it does make sense. As for everything else, the pickup is not great but I do feel safe while driving the car. It is comfortable and has a working aux cord and the rest of the features are working. As a result, I like my car.

- Alyssa B

Interesting detail, to change a headlight bulb you have to take the bumper off.

I bought this car with 23000 miles and I have not had any major problems. Brakes and new tires only. Mechanically great, I have oil changed every 3000 miles. Great gas mileage, good trunk space. Comfortable spacious back seat. No rust at all. Only downfall is I had to remove the whole front bumper to change the headlight. Ended up costing $100.

- Linda S

That it is fairly comfortable to travel in on long trips.

I don't like that I have to remove practically the ENTIRE front end to replace the headlight bulbs. I do like that I have key fob entry, but it's annoying when the key fob doesn't work. I also like that it tells me the tire pressure and oil life along with remaining fuel. I also don't like that it costs so much to replace keys. Grr.

- Antonia C

Spent June mostly shuttling our little red electric vehicle.

Spent June mostly shuttling our little red electric vehicle back and forth to various video shoots around southern California and commuting the 40 miles round trip from Torrance to Santa Monica on a daily basis. It was a lot of time to get acquainted with some of the great things the 2017 Chevrolet bolt does, as well as some of its quirks.

- Marcus D

My 2010 Malibu and how it runs for me

My car runs good. In the 7 years I have had it I only had one major fix. I had to replace the transmission about a year ago. Other than that I've only had to keep the oil changed and the tires. No major problems outside of maybe a sensor going out. I did have the check engine light come on because I needed a update to the computer system.

- Charles H

Its an overall reliable vehicle. It may have electrical problems but they have not caused any major issue and the car is dependable. Very comfortable

I love that it is comfortable. It has been really reliable and the air conditioning is a life saver in the summer. It also feels very safe. The back is just spacious to fit my bike in which is perfect. Only thing is it has some pretty bad blind spots and has weird electrical problems but i haven't had any true major problems with it.

- Tyler C

It is very clean and looks nice. It is black and it has a glossy, shiny finish.

I love my car, it is very easy to drive and comfortable. It has a lot of space and is so nice to drive. It is great for long distance driving, it gets great gas mileage. It has seat warmers for cold days and it is warms up really easily. It is a fairly safe car in my opinion. I have been in one accident and I didn't get hurt at all.

- Danielle W

Great Chevy couldn't ask for a better car.

This car was bought used by a great Chevy dealer in jasper ga. It had about 12000 miles on it. I had to return back to the dealership for a recall witch they fixed it in short order. I always have my car oil change at regular intervals with mobil one so no problems. The only thing I had replace was front brakes battery and tires.

- Robert H

Great gas mileage. I have kept it maintained and never had problems with it.

I love my Malibu. It gets great gas mileage. It is comfortable to drive and ride in. I bought it when it was 3 years old. I have never had any problems with it. The only thing I would change would be to make it set higher off the ground. I have arthritis so it is a little difficult to get out of when my arthritis is acting up.

- Anne R

170k and still runs like a dream

My Malibu has been a very reliable vehicle for me. It has 170k on it and still runs well. I have only had minor routine issues with it that were an easy fix for the mechanics. I would recommend this vehicle to someone who isn't looking for anything with too many bells and whistles, but still looks good and performs well.

- Angela W

Never again Chevy Malibu never.

Loved my car at first then started to have problems I have had my transmission completely redone the water pump replaced I have had problems with my sunroof leaking and actually causing mold on my ceiling of my car have had many issues with the sensors going bad just not a fan of the Malibu definitely will not get another!

- Jennifer H

2010 Chevy Malibu- good family car.

My vehicle gets good gas mileage, there haven't been any major recalls and I feel safe in it. It is comfortable. I reviewed it prior to buying and the car regardless of year is a very reasonable and sensible car. I do not think I got the greatest deal price wise but in general Chevy’s cost a little more due to the name.

- Nic K

The right fit, the right car for me.

Personally, my car is just the right size. It is not too small where I feel like I am sitting on the road when I am driving. It is also large enough to fit many things in my car and makes me feel safe amongst other large vehicles on the road. The color and look of it looks classy as well. It really is a great first buy.

- Tori J

Runs Good In All types of Weather

The only problem that we have is the headlights keep going out To change the light you have to remove the bumper. This is a extra charge to put in the bulb. It does start up very well during all types of weather. It does well with gas mileage. The wheels and brakes held up good. When taking long trips it rides smooth.

- Marie G

My very standard ok vehicle, that is nothing special but it works decent.

It is overall a nice car. It seems to be hard on brakes though, this may be due to the use it received before we bought it. Many minor problems pop up with it at this age, and the carseat anchors are placed horribly. Overall as far as major problems we haven't had any so it is reliable and does get decent gas mileage.

- Samantha L

Shiny Silver Safety Bullet

I have not experienced issues other than the headlight going out and some small riddles from the sunroof door. It rides smooth, is comfortable and very reliable. Some feature are automatic start with the key; I love to use this when it is cold out to warm it up before I have to leave or when it is hot to cool it down.

- Brandy B

All the good features in a Malibu.

Love this car as it has excellent gas mileage. It has lots of space as well. I also like the color as it look like it could be brown or it could be gray depending on how you look at it. The trunk as double the room compared to other vehicles. I can drive this car very well in the winter even when it is very slippery.

- Jennifer K

Still making it after all these years.

I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu ls and it is in great shape for the year that it is I never have really driven it in the snow. It gets 30 mpg I would like to get new seats put in her because they are not all that comfortable after a long ride. Over all my car is very dependable and the maintenance is easy on the pocket.

- Rose O

Small enough but still enough room for my 4 kids to ride a long.

This is the first car I have owned in the last 15 years. When my children were younger I drive a minivan and then a SUV. It did take a while to get used to sitting low to the ground but I love my car! It nothing sporty but feels like it. Reliability has been great and the drive is very smooth for a smaller vehicle.

- Amanda S

Malibu is a complete dream to drive.

I am really pleased with the Malibu. It gets great gas mileage and has a functional style. I am impressed with how quiet it is. The car is fun to drive in the city or highway. It has easy maintenance. I have had my car for ten years and have not put a lot of miles on it, but it has needed just regular maintenance.

- Theresa M

Good solid car with reputation for needing little in the way of repairs.

I bought this car used with 86, 000 miles on it, and have had no problems with it so far, except that I think the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. (the exhaust smells like sulfur. ) I put this down to the dealer's fault for not telling me that the converter was old/had not been replaced/was wearing out.

- Kate P

Nice storage with decent gas mileage.

I love my 2010 Chevy Malibu. It is beautiful and I have never had any problems with it. The gas mileage is not the greatest but not the worst. For my purposes-living in the city and commuting to work-I can fill up twice a month. The trunk is a nice size but it is small and easy to maneuver. I would recommend it.

- Maggie C

My sporty charcoal gray Chevy Malibu.

It is used to mostly run errands travel about town etc. It gets approx 25 mpg in town is very sporty looking and has electric everything. I drive it almost everyday for long periods of time. I stay on the road and it is very comfortable and roomy. I would buy another Chevy Malibu if this one's ever does give out

- Terri H

Great vehicle for what we paid for it.

The car drives great but we have had some electrical issues from time to time. We have had some issues with the battery. For the most part this car drives great it's very smooth and its decent on gas. It's a pretty good size for a car. It has plenty of room in the back seat and the truck is really big as well.

- Elizabeth L

The color is very pretty and skinny.

I love my car it is silver grey it runs great and smooth drive saves me money on gas.Haven't had any problems since I got it. The seats are very comfortable it is grey inside. The ac works great in the summer and the heater in the winter. It has a radio and CD plus a cassette player. Everything works great.

- Jesus N

Car has awesome trunk space.

I have had to replace the transmission twice so far, apparently not the best cars when it comes to transmission issues, tire monitors are always yelling to be serviced they get serviced and keep dinging away, and my seat belt alarm is always going on even when I am sitting in the seat with the seatbelt on.

- Elisa S

It has a reliable engine and drivetrain.

The vehicle is reliable with good drivetrain. Was purchased in excellent condition, however, the cruise control cuts out frequently when least expected. Also, the worst interior cup holder placement and designs I have ever seen on a car. Cheap chrome trim that peels, but other than that no real problems.

- David S

Money pit with low miles.

My vehicle has 80,000 miles. At 50,000 miles I had to replace the transmission, at 75,000 miles I had to replace the engine. I have done all scheduled maintenance at the dealership. No one can tell me how it happened without warning. I always did all maintenance recommended at the time of my oil changes.

- Cherie A

Chevy Malibu, enjoy the drive.

My Malibu runs fantastic, however that year has electronic power steering that is notorious for going out. The gas mileage is great and the ride is very smooth. It is roomy on the inside with plenty of leg room and storage capacity is wonderful. The trunk is large enough for 4 pieces of large luggage.

- Paula T

The car drives extremely smooth and the ride is comfortable.

It is drives pretty good. I have had to make little repairs. It has CD, aux, and FM/am radio. Cloth seats and plenty room for comfort. It does extremely well on the highway. I keep the preventive maintenance done on the vehicle and it hasn't let me down yet. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

- Medical B

White Comfortable Chevy Malibu

Lots of legroom in the front and back of the car. It is pretty quiet to drive and smooth. It does feel very big and safe on the road however this means it doesn't have a good turning radius and is difficult to park. I've had it for several years and with routine maintenance I've never had a problem.

- Monica H

Great, reliable car for someone of any age.

This is an and all a great car. It has great gas mileage and will really help get you from a to b. Great first car for your kid. It has a lot of safety features. Maintenance costs are very low. So when it comes to oil changes, or regular time ups, you would not have to pay as much as a BMW or Audi.

- Cormac M

Very smooth driving car, sleek perfect for A to B driving

Nothing really wrong with the car haven't had issues with it for the 3 years I've had it. There has been some small problems like tire sensors going out or it seems like headlights go out quick. The only thing I don't like is taking off the entire bumper just to change the headlight, it isn't fun.

- Jacob C

The misery of owning a Chevy Malibu.

Cup holders poorly located and pretty useless for holding cups, cruise control does not always function, traction control lights come on and off, wiper motor just broke/failed, back tire brake line is leaking, and oil pan is leaking. Those are just a few of the issues. Chevy is a terrible brand.

- Pamela B

Great reliability and comfort.

I haven't had any issues with the car since I have had it. I have heated seats which are nice during cold winters. I also have a wall outlet in the backseat which comes in handy for charging laptops or other large electronic devices. Overall it is a very reliable car and was a great purchase.

- Elizabeth P

I love how smooth it is when I drive it.

I have had no problems with this car, it is great! I love how smooth the car drives and how fast it is, it feels like I am flying sometimes. I haven't had a better car and I won't need to get a new car for a long while. I definitely feel like this car will last me plenty of more years to come.

- Emma S

2010 Chevy Malibu ltz: the ups and downs.

This vehicle has lasted a long time and is reliable as long as you take care of it. I did need to replace a transmission which was very costly. Also the car has many recalls. Repairs are on the expensive side. Gas mileage is decent but could be better. The ltz model has nice interior details.

- Michele P

I can hook my phone in with the car and answer the phone without picking it up.

The only problem we have had is tire sensors. It runs good. Great on gas. Rides smooth. Plenty of trunk space. You are able to hook your phone into the car to answer calls that come in. Great on gas and mine is set up for flex fuel. It also has plenty of storage in both front and back seats.

- Emily M

Reliable perfect for small families

It's a really reliable car the only thing I don't like is the steering wheel starts to peel after a while, gas mileage is ok for the most part. Most parts that are need to repair my car are pretty affordable. Light cars with the light interior hold more heat the dark cars with dark interior

- Mia S

Malibu is great family vehicle.

We have relatively few problems with our car. The only things we've encountered is a problem with the airbag and a noise in the steering column. The car runs great, is good in the snow and gets relatively good gas mileage. It rides smoothly and is very comfortable. The trunk space is good.

- Susan W

Comfortable and reliable.

Absolutely love it. Have not found one thing we dislike. It is comfortable, reliable and does great on gas. We have two little boys, both in car seats and there is still plenty of room in the back seat. We will continue to be any Chevy vehicles, after finding out how reliable they are.

- Hannah C

Malibu, I would highly recommend this car.

I have never had any really bad problems with my car. Just normal wear and tear. Oil change and brakes. Things like that. I would certainly purchase another Malibu. But would like to purchase a different kind of car. But my Malibu is very dependable. I would highly recommend the Malibu.

- pamela C

Decent midsize sedan for price

Chevy Malibu is an OK car the performance is a car is pretty decent in comparison with other cars in its class. I have high hopes for this Malibu but seems to be a lot of work as far is maintenance is concerned. I have owned Other Chevy models and have been very pleased in the quality

- Brie H

The Chevy Malibu is a reliable car.

The 2010 Chevy Malibu is a reliable car that is generally unremarkable in all ways. It can get you to and from any destination be it far away or a local route of travel. The gas mileage is reasonable - in that it gets approximately 20 to 25 mile per gallon without having a heavy foot, .

- Sue K

Great Car, reliable and comfortable but not a big as the Impala

I've always owned a Chevy, usually the Impala. The Malibu is not a spacey as the impala. I haven't had a lot of issues with my car. I love the features as well. The Malibu is extremely reliable I have had trouble with the arm joints or something of the sum which was expensive to repair

- Kristen A

The inside decor of the car is a tan/black interior with wood trim

My 2010 Chevy Malibu is comfortable and roomy. I've had to get the timing chain replaced along with a broken wire. Don't understand how the car was still running. After the problems were fixed, my check engine light pops on for a few days then shuts off.. idk why. Otherwise I like it

- Amber K

Just ok, I like the color which is red.

I feel the car is too small for me. I do not feel safe or protected in it. Sometimes lately it has been running really rough, I do not know if its the tires or something under the car. I am not really a mechanic so I need to take it in somewhere. Other than that I guess it is not bad.

- Donna A

This is a very reliable car, I got it as my first car

The turn radius for the car is not very good, trying to turn it can feel like trying to turn a boat at times. Lots of curbs scrapped and 10 point turns. There are some pretty big blind spots. Overall I'm happy with the car but it's just a bit bigger, and wider than I prefer in a car.

- Daniel B

Fast and reliable just do not run out of gas fast.

There is a couple thing as in maintenance of the vehicle and more money that is goes into it than you need to do not waste no time with Malibu because there are a lot of problems especially if not brand new but if you want to waste your money this is the car for you but it is okay.

- Andrea H

2010 Malibu LT , white 4 door sedan

2010 needed a new transmission in 2018 with 135000 miles. Runs good, comfortable, trunk while large has a narrow opening, front doors swing quite wide so be careful opening next to other cars. Great stereo with regular radio & XM option. Heated seats & remote start a plus!

- jennifer D

Great car for the everyday use

I love how smooth the vehicle drives especially on longer trips. The car is small enough for everyday use but can still fit 5 people comfortably. This car is great with mileage. I've had issues with the tire pressure sensors where they go off even though the tires have enough air.

- Naomi A

My vehicle gets excellent gas mileage.

I love the space the car has, especially the trunk. I also love the gas mileage I get, especially on the highway. My check engine light will not shut off. It has been serviced and nothing is wrong with the vehicle. I have also had to replace the fuel pump. Overall, great vehicle.

- Catherine L

Its roomy and reliable. .

My vehicle is reliable and dependable. Its built to last and will be my car for the next ten years plus. I've owned a Chevy in the past and it was a great car. I just needs a newer car with less miles and wear and tear on it. It is roomy and handles well in any weather condition.

- Nicole H

My Chevy Malibu is easy to drive and own.

My Malibu is reliable and easy to drive. It was the best first car I could have asked for and it still drives just like it did the day I bought it. Even as a 2010 it has features that can only be found in other newer models. It is a comfortable and enjoyable car to drive and own.

- Samantha M

Great vehicle reliable needs a backup camera.

Great car reliable no problems comfortable great features would buy another Malibu if I did not have to buy teenager cars great car would buy again reliable needs a backup camera great features reliable no problems comfortable great features reliable comfortable would buy again.

- Michel A

My car is trustworthy, reliable I trust Chevrolet cars.

It is a really decent car, trustworthy and reliable. It keeps up and has lasted long driving trips. Very comfortable car is an older model however still going strong not many problems. Gas tank is really great it can last a long time and I trust it will get me to my destination.

- Grace J

Reliable transportation, good on gas, low maintenance.

Haven't had too many issues with it just basic maintenance and the dashboard went out but I had that fixed and now it is fine. Other than that the car has been very reliable no issues since. Basic alternator, battery replacement over the years. Good little car I have been lucky.

- Sandy G

Headlight problems requires you to take to shop to fix/replace.

Nice car interior and exterior. Worst problem with the year make and model of this vehicle is the worldwide issues of the headlights going out. You have to take it to the shop to fix headlight issues. It requires taking off the whole front bumper to fix. Also eats a lot of gas!

- Danica O

Great Dependable Affordable Car!

It is a great car. Great gas mileage, nimble, reliable, sporty, roomy, nice looking, excellent a/c, fun to drive, modern features, and lots of trunk space, I would buy again and highly recommended. Great for traveling. Good safety features. Affordable and inexpensive to repair.

- Paula C

My Chevrolet Malibu is a good day to day car.

My vehicle has a very small opening to the trunk mailing large suitcases or coolers impossible to load. The chrome peeled away from the inside door handles within the first year of owning the car, the also created very sharp Edges that many passengers have cut their hands on.

- Barb J

2010 Chevy Malibu fully loaded

The 2010 Chevy Malibu is an amazing vehicle. Mine is fully loaded which includes OnStar navigation, power seats and windows, sunroof, upgraded speakers, paddle shifters, steering wheel controls, cruise control, and a 12v outlet for the back seat. Absolutely love the vehicle.

- Timothy M

Great running car! Never had a problem.

Great car never had any problems with this car! I love this car I love American made cars! Gets great gas mileage and I will be buying a new one in about 5 yrs! Only problem with this car is like nothing! Runs great! I would say buy the new ones they prob even better today.

- erik R

My car has a dislike for any tire apparently!

Gas guzzler, tires go bald in less than a year no matter what tire is purchased and with rotation. We've had car checked out and nothing wrong with it that should be causing this issue. Getting ready to replace all tires again for the 5th time since purchasing car in 2014.

- Marie M

Pretty cool car, very dependable.

Smooth driving and braking in the car. Wipers are a different size than most common wipers, so you have to get specifically sized ones. Good gas mileage. Comfy seats. Nice and comfy back seats. Great sized trunk, that is good for groceries and for luggage when vacationing.

- Mm M

What I like about our Malibu

Drives smooth, port for an aux cord and a USB port to charge any phone. Good mileage and comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Drove well in Chicago, and 11 hour drives weren't as exhausting in this car because of the comfort it offers and how safe we feel in it

- Ember W

2010 Chevrolet Malibu is a great car

My Chevrolet Malibu is a really great car! It handles well... steering is tight and smooth and the road noise is quiet. I have had this car regularly serviced and haven't had to replace and major components or make any major repairs. Overall this is a very dependable car.

- Dave R

The Chevy Malibu- a car for every occasion.

I do not have any problems with its performance, it drives very smoothly and without any obvious difficulty. It's a very comfy car with great bucket seats for driver and passenger, there is plenty of room in the backseat. The best reliable sedan you can get for the money.

- Rebecca L

Car will stall when you slow down.

It has issues with the traction control. It stalls when you slow down and will shut off. It takes it several minutes before it will turn back on. It has left me waiting on it to crank up several times. It is fine with short distances but not with red lights or stop signs.

- Casey A

I love my car! If I was you I would definitely consider buying a Chevy Malibu!

I have not had any motor problems out of my Malibu, it is an amazing car and has gotten me from point a to b with no problems!! I love everything about the car. The performance is great! The reliability is great! The car fits me comfort zone and the features are awesome!

- Nicole C

The cab is very quiet for a vehicle almost 10 years old.

Drives like a classic boat - the level of comfort pushes the boundaries of luxury. The performance is that a average 4 door sedan - nothing special but gets up there if it needs to, it just takes a little more time. Quiet exhaust, quiet cab, all is good. I love this car.

- Katie M

The ups and downs of my vehicle.

Everything about my car is perfect there is nothing wrong with it. But, if I had to choose a problem I am having is when ever I change gears like reverse to forward or forward to reverse it takes a while to get going. There is some things like cosmetics that need fixed.

- Jacob R

2010 Chevrolet Malibu review. . . Takes a ticking and keeps on ticking.

I like (not love) my vehicle. My Malibu has been very reliable for the most part. I would consider purchasing another in the future. The newer models have more luxury bells and whistles which is lacking in the older model. I do in fact love having OnStar capabilities!

- Diana B

Chevrolet problems and benefits. Willing to buy a new make and model.

Engine problems, brake problems. Every time I break, my brakes make a vibrating weird noise. Although my car is old, it still drives fine. I like my Chevrolet and the design as well as the make. There are only a few problems. Which is why I consider changing my model.

- Maya B

Great family car with great value.

It is a great family car. Performs well. It has speed. Truck is huge. Car is very comfortable to sit in for a long trip. It is a very reliable vehicle and I feel comfortable letting my teenager driving it knowing it is a safe car. I would recommend this car to anyone.

- Joanne R

Affordable transportation.

Car has been very reliable, affordable, comfortable. The only issue I have had is with the dashboard going out but got it fixed all good. Luckily have not had any other issues. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for an affordable reliable transportation.

- Sandy S

Never had any major problems, always reliable and efficient.

I really enjoy my 2010 Chevy Malibu. It runs smooth and is very efficient and reliable. The only problem I have had with this car is that my blinkers got shifted out of place. But that is a minor problem. It is pretty good on gas mileage to. It gets between 22-24 mpg.

- Arianna S

Thousand so fare miles were good, and it has power, a it.

His vehicle has electoral problem, as well air bag and plenty of dents and all ready had to replace light buds and this car hah light issues. And the cost for this car is over my budget. Didn't realize the cost of plates, the wipers had to be repaired, new wiper two.

- Kasha R

Reliable and Affordable- a great value!

It's been a reliable car for almost 8 years. It's easy and fun to drive with a quick pick-up. It has lots of space for a sedan and excellent trunk space. It also came with great technology features for being a 2010. The one thing I don't like is the plain color.

- Theresa H

A Chevy Malibu is not for everyone

My Chevy Malibu is an ok car. However, I do not like when it is time to get repairs due to everything having to be complicated. For instance when it is time to have the lights changed, the entire bumper has to be removed which means only a professional can do that.

- L F

My car has yet to have foggy headlights which is awesome.

I just got the car and I haven't had any problems! It is reliable and its mileage is good, interior is beautiful and comfy! It is a nice first car and it has some power to it so careful with pushing the gas. This car is great for long trips and it is amazing so far.

- Kayla Z

Flex fuel model with lots of room.

Its a 2010 Malibu. Has 107, 000 some miles on it. The heat works great. One of the speakers has a shortage in the wiring. The service tire monitor light is always on. It's nice to drive, but has no e-brake. Gets great gas mileage. Very reliable and flex fuel model.

- Emily S

Good carpet needs more legroom for driving.

It is a good car overall but it needs more legroom on the driver side between the steering wheel column and where your leg meets. It is a good size for a small family and has plenty of trunk room. As far as gas mileage I think it is been a pretty good car overall.

- Laura J

Good. Reliable. Comfortable

It rides good and is comfortable on long rides. Gas mileage is acceptable. This is my third Malibu and when it comes time to replace it I'll choose another Malibu. The only problems I have had is that the service engine light comes on more than I would prefer.

- KATHLEEN V

Great affordable and beneficial car!

Few minors such as a short in one of the lights, it is fixable. Check engine light is on, however problem has been fixed, it needed a sensor. Other than that it is great on gas & drives well. I can honestly see myself driving this car for many more years to come.

- Brittany N

The cruise control rocks!

I love that the car has cruise control. I have never had a problem with the car that could not be fixed. I enjoy having the large trunk so that I can put more stuff in there. The car has an excellent radio and also has the AUX port so that I can plug in my phone.

- Rebecca M

Chevy the best car I've ever owned

My vehicle gets about 24 miles to the gallon. The engine light is on, but that is only because they cleaned the oil filters and didn't reset the computer. This is my third car I have had a Volkswagen and a Honda and my Chevy is by far the best and most reliable.

- Lydia S

Great reliable car with good gas mileage.

The Chevy Malibu runs well. Get oil changes often. Had my used Malibu for 3 years. Just recently started having problems with it. Great size. Trunk is huge. Can fit 3 car seats/booster seats in the back seat with no problem. This car is very good on gas mileage.

- Tiffany D

I have leather seats and wood grain on my car and I love it.

I think it drives pretty good. It is comfortable and I love the way it looks. It is also pretty good on gas. I would definitely purchase another one when I am ready for a new car. My mother also has one and she too loves the car. I would recommend to a friend.

- Brooke S

Easy to handle and maintain,

Purchased my Malibu used from Serra Chevrolet in Bartlett, tn. Other than oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacement and getting new tires I have experienced minimal problems. The only current annoyance is the that the signal indicator stopped working.

- Angie A

It's a very reliable car and is great for small families.

Very reliable car. Haven't had an huge problems, they've all been small. Tire, air conditioner. Never had any problem with the engine or anything under the hood. Great on gas. Plan on taking care of this car till it dies on me. Great car for a staring family.

- Sydney V

spacious in the backseat and in the trunk

I just got this car and love it. It's so much bigger than my old car. it's amazing for a family car. I haven't had any issues with my car. it's silver and has a lot of trunk space which I love! it's perfect for trips I can still fit luggage and the stroller!

- Brittany B

Nothing special basic everyday ride.

It pretty basic runs good no major issues reliable for the basics work and home good gas mileage I need a tune up it has no special features but it comfortable and. Rides smooth it white no dents good tires and brakes it pick up speed good fair not the best.

- Tyson R

My 2010 Chevy Malibu the car of the century.

My car is fairly dependable. It is not the speediest car on the highway. It has a nice comfortable ride and I get pretty good gas mileage from it. The cost of repairing it is pretty reasonable. Actually the gas mileage is great for the year of the vehicle.

- Lisa S

It has a good drive train and runs smoothly.

Worst cupholders I have ever seen designed on a car, inside the doors. Cruise control cuts off at inappropriate times and the traction control lights and tire monitor lights are always coming on and shut off my cruise control, even though nothing is wrong.

- David B

Sunroof, problems and reliability

I've had problems with Transmission and power steering in the pass. Luckily my car was under warranty and was fixed for free! The car hasn't gave me any other problems. Has been very reliable. No major problems. I really like the heated seats in the winter

- Steve D

Reliable and dependable vehicle.

Very reliable vehicle. Headlights are an extreme pain to change. I have had to change one of the headlights each winter and I think they wear out fast because the auto light option resets to on every time you start the car. Gas mileage is very reasonable.

- Natasha P

Old but good and dependable!

The only problem I have had is the battery dying. I do not drive a lot because of a medical condition. But my car is more dependable than most men in my life! It gets be where I need to go and is very comfortable to drive in as well as being a passenger.

- Karen M

My car is black small family car interior all black and nice taken care off.

Its black I got it second hand used but the car works really well I do not have problems with it I don't plan on changing it unless if I find a better car or if I have problems with the car in the future but right now it's really nice and taken care of.

- Fer F

Chevy Malibu Pros and Cons

The 2010 Chevrolet Malibu is very reliable and dependable. The seats and interior are sleek, comfortable, and attractive. It has great gas mileage and tides easy on the road. However, I do not like the blind spots on the car due to the large framework.

- Alexis H

I love the sunroof and the sporty look it has

Transmission is having some problems. It's not shifting on time and sticks a lot. Have trouble getting up to speed right away and does not upshift when needed. Have kept the maintenance up on it. They thought I might have issues with the fuel pump also

- Ashley C

This Chevy sedan offers the interior quality found in many cars in the class.

Very reliable and very good on gas. Has very Handsome design with modern interior also with comfortable ride and a large infotainment screen. This Chevy sedan just doesn't offer the athleticism or the interior quality found in many cars in the class.

- Nick W

Shortage in wiring: headlight issue

The only issue I have had with my car is the front right headlight constantly burns out. There is an issue with the wiring and it should be a factory recall since every single Malibu that I've seen has had it's front right headlight out, but it's not.

- Carlie F

I miss my Versa note. I wish I had another Versa note. 2018.

Too noisy. Not a good ride. I never test drove it. I think that was a mistake. Sorry I didn't get the small rouge. I traded in my Versa note and I miss it so much. I actually miss the wiper on the back window. I will probably get the rouge next time.

- Mary Jane M

My car is super dependable. It has a ton of miles on it and has cost me a pittance in maintenance only.

It has been a very dependable vehicle. It isn't flashy but it gets decent gas mileage and is relatively comfortable. I do wish that there are parts of it that were holding up a little better. the upholstery is cracking and some trim is peeling.

- Karen R

It's very reliable and dependable. Best car that I have ever driven.

I have had it since it was new. I love how reliable it has been. Not only does it get pretty good gas mileage it is also roomy enough for my family. Only complaint is the buttons on the radio wear off and the batter is dead every 4 1/2 years.

- Jerilynn B

That it gets great gas mileage.

I like that my car gets good gas mileage. It has also been a very reliable car. I have been able to take long car trips in my vehicle and have had no issues. I have had to replace quite a few things but nothing more than normal wear and tear.

- Cary B

It has amazing gas mileage and it is beyond smooth to drive

I love the performance of my vehicle. It is very smooth to drive and it has amazing gas mileage. However, i wish it offered a Bluetooth sound system or a better auxiliary cord because mine broke and now i have to only listen to the radio.

- raiven d

Deer wreck, with minor problems.

I had a deer wreck. The car only has one light, and the other one is not working. There is a small dent in the driver side vender, but it is not that bad. The number is bend, and the bottom of the front of the car is damaged a little bit.

- J M

I really like my vehicle. It doesn't have all of the up to date gadgets but it's has enough for the year model it is. It drives very smoothly and is great on gas. It is big enough for my 4 people household and the trunk is very spacious.

There is a problem with a piece in the headlights of my car. The headlights go out almost annually and it is costly to have them replaced but once you get the piece replace by one made of ceramic you don't have any more problems with it.

- Angela J

It's a smooth ride. Anyone would enjoy riding in this car. It's serves my family well. I drive grandchildren around town all the time.

I like the size of my car and color. It drives smoothly and has a back seat large enough for people with long legs. The trunk fits in a lot of luggage. Because it's an older model, it doesn't have the backup screen. I would like that.

- Donna D

My car is a white Chevy Malibu with 4 doors. It is an lt with leather seats.

The car runs very smoothly, love the leather seats. The radio is easy access and also has an auxiliary cord. The car is bright white and also has lot of room in the trunk. Really like the middle counsel as well, it has lots of space.

- Joshua H

Great Starter Car, reliable and great on gas

Very reliable, great on gas mileage, all leather interior, car has been in the family for 8 years with no major issues. 4 cup holders. There's a wall outlet in the back seat attached to the middle console which is very convenient

- Rachael R

Runs Great! Takes you to your destination without worrying of being left on the side of the road

Well it's a 2010 Malibu it runs well, I have had to fix a few minor details like add new tires, AC, front bumper due to accident, but it's the best in giving comfort and reliable car as it can be, I keep up with the maintenance

- Johana M

love having the heated seats and the sunroof options

I like the added perks of having the heated seats and sunroof, but in order to change headlight you have to take off the entire front end bumper and the seats have 2 different materials and is causing the side fabric to tear

- Paige R

Stay away from Chevrolet Malibu

Worst vehicle I've ever owned. Transmission fluid can't be checked from underneath the hood. You must remove the front bumper to replace a blown light bulb. Car has had constant problems with throttle and many other problems

- Cassandra W

I recommend this car especially for first time car owners, its safe and reliable.

I just love my Malibu Chevy it's quiet and drives smooth. Really good mileage also saves you on gas, doesn't take much to fill it up. Any parts needed for the car are very cheap as well. I recommend this car to anyone.

- Kendall B

My car is sexy, reliable and it fits my needs on a daily basis.

I love the size and style of my car. I love the color of the exterior and interior as well and I don't mind that my car is somewhat "old" because I feel some of the newer technology is somewhat distracting to drivers.

- Sara A

It is reliable and fast. I love it.

Love the way it handles and looks but unfortunately there are too many things that keep going wrong with it. So the repairs are breaking the bank, and most of it has been with breaks and rotors wearing out too soon.

- Ann C

I love my hands free calling and I love that I can sync my phone to play music from my phone.

Only major issue with my car is a known headlight problem by Chevy and no recall. I have to change headlights about every six months and it's a pain as you have to drop the bumper to get to the bulbs to change them.

- Jen Z

It is easy to handle, especially when road tripping or parking.

It's a very reliable vehicle. The mileage on the highway is great. The rides are pretty smooth and it looks really nice from the outside and inside. I do not like that it is 6 cylinder and has poor city mileage.

- Lena A

Although it's a hybrid, it only gets 20 miles a gallon

I have the hybrid model, but it's a quasi hybrid, so it doesn't actually save money. Not the most fuel efficient, but gets you from point a to point b. I purchased mine used, so the inside has seen better days

- Josh C

It holds well to the road in winter. Its safe and at the time stylish. It has seemed to last forever.

It has been a low maintenance vehicle. It is a nice looking car.It holds well to the road and I feel safe in it. The interior is stylish and I have had many compliments on the performance and look of this car.

- Jayne L

The functionality is great and the crash test ratings are amazing!

I had one previously that ended up getting totalled. I felt very safe after the impact of another car and I love that and the crash ratings of this car. I do wish it was a little better with the gas mileage.

- Andrea M

Dependable and reliable fuel efficient drives well.

My Chevy Malibu is dependable reliable and good on gas. In the eight years that I have owned it , the car has been very sound and safe to drive and has had little maintenance except for brakes and tires.

- Charlie S

Chevy Malibu! A great little car

It's a great car. Gets great gas mileage. Even though it's only a 4 cylinder it can get up and go. Good stereo system. It's Bluetooth cable so you can use your phone, GPS , and Onstar. (great feature)

- Pamela G

Chevrolet Malibu All Around Awesome Vehicle!

My 2010 Chevy Malibu is such a proficient and reliable car. It gets 26-30 mpg on highway and is smooth riding. I have never had any problems with it! It has a variety of different package options.

- Brooke C

It is a great car to choose if you are looking.

I like the look of it on the inside and outside. It is also a reliable vehicle. The only thing is I would like the more updated things like a back up camera and safety features newer cars have.

- Melanie C

It's a great little car, easy on gas and rides wonderfully.

I love how much space my car has. It rides really good. I dislike the fact that it is a car and not an SUV. I want something with a 3rd row seat. I have no complaints on my Malibu itself.

- Elizabeth H

It's small but it's sturdy. It's not crazy expensive and gets you where you need to go.

I just had to have the front brakes replaced, but I've had it for about three years now and I haven't had any other problems. It's easy to drive and gets decent mileage. I really like it.

- Adie M

Comfortable good on gas low maintenance nothing fancy decent car.

No issues really, been lucky. The only thing is regular maintenance. Although I did have issues with the dashboard lights going out once and had to recharge the ac but that is about it.

- Sandy S

Ease of handling while driving and for maneuverability for parking.

For a 2010 car it has good gas mileage, is reliable, and spacious, it also has seat warmers... I prefer a touch screen interior, and the exterior is white which is hard to keep clean..

- Autumn W

One of the most important things others should know is the gas mileage and comfort of the car.

I enjoy the comfort and mileage of my vehicle. However, I do not like certain blind spots that the design of the car creates. Aside from that the vehicle is wonderful and runs great.

- David B

The acceleration pedal is very sensitive. If you push on it even just a little bit, the car zooms.

I love my car! It gets great gas mileage and handles very well. I love the quick response on brakes and how quiet it is. The only downfall is the fragility of the inside equipment.

- Kristina D

Silver 2010 Chevy Malibu. Wheel bearing.

Fantastic gas mileage. Only problem I have had is that I had to replace the same wheel bearing 3 times in 2 years. It makes it to Mississippi and back on less than 4 tanks of gas.

- Dustin M

The car has been very dependable.

Our Malibu has been a great asset and well worth the money. Only issue we've ever had is the sunroof leaking. It is not a complete love because I have been driving it nine years.

- Bran G

Really nice car and economic.

Is really comfortable, what I don't like it is that it doesn't have an a/c little window in the back, so if its really hot and someone sits in the back they going to be sweating.

- Robert C

The car has decent gas mileage.

Like the color of the car. Love how much legroom is in the back seat. Complaint I have is it does not have internet radio and tire pressure monitoring system goes bad so easily.

- Your first name P

Smooth ride and engine is in good shape.

My Chevy Malibu handles very well, it is quiet and it is very roomy. It accelerates very quickly and it is a smooth ride. Regular maintenance has kept the engine in good shape.

- Pam G

That this car is made to sucker people or force them to bring it into the dealership for the most simplistic repairs; even lights.

It's so bad to even change the oil or fix the most simple parts. It takes all these special tools and has so many computer and wiring issues. It's been a nightmare to manage.

- Matt H

Handles great on the roads. It drives smooth and it is nice to drive

I like the way it drives. Its seats are comfortable and heated. It is good on gas. I do not like how hard it is to see out the back windows when I back out of a parking spot.

- Dana g

Extremely reliable and long lasting gm vehicle.

Never had any problems with my car. Extremely reliable (140000+ miles and runs like I just bought it). Very comfortable and roomy. Love my remote start and Sirius XM radio.

- Harley D

The blind spots are a safety factor in this model of Chevrolet Malibu.

My vehicle is good, has had no major problems. However, there are a lot of blind spots, due to the fact that the windows are not very tall and the car is low to the ground.

- Ron F

It's reliable.I have not had major issues. I have a 45 minute commute each way and it's all highway.

The Malibu is a very reliable car. I've had it since 2010 and now have 151,000 miles on it. I have not had any major issues with it but I do keep up on the maintenance.

- Becky T

roomy and comfortable when traveling

i love my malibu. very roomy and reliable. no problems except for the recalls from chevy which were all taken care of timely. had car for 8 years and only did maintenance

- virginia d

Safe way to travel with your family. Provides adequate room for children in the backseat with car seats.

It is a very reliable vehicle. I like the room in the backseat for my kids. I like the radio in the vehicle. I wish it had more room in the trunk of the car for storage.

- Rachel C

Chevy is reliable, if you maintain your regular maintenance and follow up on all recalls.

My 2010 malibu has had multiple recalls that I've taken in for repairs however it is still having Many electrical issues, faulty power steering as well as other issues.

- Rebecca N

American-made sedan that looks great and is comfortable with great gas mileage. It keeps Americans working.

It is very comfortable. Roomy enough that we are not on top of each other. Great gas mileage is a definite need and makes me so happy. It also looks classy. I love it.

- Cass S

The remote start has a small range and it has to be started at a close distance.

Like the leather interior, Bluetooth calling, remote start, smooth ride, the size of the car, good trunk space. I dislike that I cannot play music through Bluetooth.

- Nicole S

The vehicle is affordable.

I like that my car is reliable. However, I dislike the recall on parts, that were only under warranty for 150,000 miles. Power steering went out and wasn't covered.

- Kaila K

Dependable, great gas mileage, and looks super good.

It is a very reliable and dependable vehicle, with little repairs. It is a Great family ,or individual auto which I would recommend to a home who wants a good car

- Marcia P

Is the vehicle relIable and can you work on it yourself? Is it enjoyable to drive?

I like the fuel efficiency and the fact that I got it with low mileage. Other than that the car is uninspired and isn't all that reliable. Also hard to work on.

- David L

Good on gas, economical low maintenance vehicle.

The only problem I have had with it has been the dashboard lights going out. Some type of electrical issue. The ac as well other than that it is been fine.

- Joe R

The computer system sometimes shuts down, and it would be difficult to turn on the car. Check for that. Otherwise, great car.

I like that it tells me when the roads are slippery, and the miles per gallon ratio is good, too. I don't like that the blinker clutch doesn't always work.

- Elizabeth A

Check fluids on the vehicle. Make sure the fluid levels are ok.

I love the 4 cylinder engine. I like the 4 doors. I like the stereo. I like the huge trunk space. I like the leg room inside the car. I have no complaints.

- Kelli T

How it drives & everything that comes in it!

I love the Chevy Malibu, I am ready to get the new one 2018!! The only problem I am having is my headlight keep going out, other than that I love my car!!

- Courtney H

Made for smaller drivers than it looks, both in ceiling height and steering wheel.

Engine is too small with insufficient torque. Windows seem specifically designed to be anti-smoker. Even at its highest position, steering wheel too low.

- Emma C

It's dependable. The Malibu 4 cylinder engine get good mpgs.

It has electrical issues like most malibu's. Like the key fob does not lock or unlock the doors and it does not open the truck or start the car anymore.

- Paul W

It's a reliable car for everyday driving. There's no bells and whistles.

It's a nice vehicle for running errands and driving to work. It's a basic car but it can get me where I need to be. I don't like the brakes on the car.

- Lisa L

Great cheap economical car

It's a good, cheap, reliable car that gets great gas mileage. It has over 215,000 miles on it and the only thing to go bad was a sensor. Knock on wood.

- Brad Z

I think the most important thing - at least to me - would be the gas mileage. It gets about 33-35 mpg on the highway, but only about 20-22 in the city.

I love my Malibu. For an older car, it gets great gas mileage on the highway. It's getting a little older, though. and it leaks through the sunroof.

- Ed R

The Malibu is unexciting but a good car

It's a decent sized, fairly comfortable vehicle. It has been pretty reliable overall, as long as I keep up on maintenance. I like all of the features.

- Mike M

People should know that Malibus are nice cars but be prepared to spend a lot in maintenance

I love the way that the car drives. What I don't like are the consistent problems that occur across all Malibus. The same noises, same shakes, etc.

- David F

Keep it clean and change BOTH headlights if one does happen to go out. They are a pain to replace.

Not too much to complain about other than going thru brakes like crazy. I do not drive vigorously or brake hard but they seem to wear rather quickly.

- Telly S

The small family vehicle with room to grow

It ran smooth for the first 50,00 miles and then the front end shifted and caused the vehicle to shake when driven. Good on gas and very comfortable.

- Matthew B

It doesn't waste much gas, and it drives so smoothly.

I like it because is very smooth when driving it, and most because it doesn't need to much gas. I don't like because its not luxury as I would like.

- A A

I get good gas mileage and have standard features but just in general love how it drives.

I have not had any issues or problems with my vehicle. I have put a lot of miles on it and am pretty hard on it but have never had any major issues.

- Danielle P

It runs and gets me where I need to go. It is good enough for me.

I like the sunroof and leather seats. I dislike the amount of cds the player holds at one time. I like the heated seats but dislike the cupholders.

- Kelsey A

Very easy to maintain. Follow the schedule in the Owner's Manual - and no worries.

No dislikes. Great car. Gets better mileage than It's rating. Low, easy maintenance schedule. Have never had any major issues with it. Runs great

Headlight issues and high tire wear.

Very comfortable driving. Good on fuel, spacious, also reliable. The trunk space is different, smaller, but other than that nothing to dislike.

It has a very low front bumper, so I have hit things with it and it is held on with zip ties. Has great gas mileage. It is very comfortable.

- Karen b

That my car can go anywhere and is so comfortable to drive and to ride in

I love my car we have gone on a lot of road trips and on dirt roads most cars would have gotten stuck.just wish she didn't have so many miles

- Grover S

at 100,000mi I have been starting to have transmission and power steering issues.

I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu and I have had costly transmission, and power steering issues. Nice looking car but built poorly in my experience.

The car has not given me any major problems. It rides easy and I feel comfortable behind the wheel. Also the trunk space is convenient.

2010 Chevy Malibu's are built very cheap so things on the inside began to fall apart around year six. Before that, things stay together.
