Safe and stylish family friendly car.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

The 2011 Chevy malibu had great gas mileage on the highway, but poor in the city. In order to repair a headlight, the entire bumper needs to be removed. This can be expensive and inconvenient. . The car is reliable and safe. It runs smoothly and runs off of synthetic oil. The interior is very spacious and can seat 5-6 persons. They have nice sound features when driving; increased speed increases the music and vice versa. . Overall, the car is suitably for a family of four, no more. It can only seat two standard car seats. The truck is a nice size, except the height is very narrow. For instance, a tote can not fit in the trunk. . However, this is an ideal car for safety and reliability.

Malibu mishaps causes owner stress. Tune in to marvel at the mishaps.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

The tires have caused me the most problems, I've run over 3 screws in the last three months. I have also had to buy new rims, two were bent. The man at the salvage shop said they rarely can pull a good rim from my model. He had to special order and they are stronger, made of steel My car did not come with a spare tire, it came with a air up device that does not work My radio turns off when I hit a bump, must have an electrical short. The console between the bucket seats has also fallen apart, I will have to buy a new one. A headlight burnt out within a year You have to take the whole front end of the change the bulb. That's it so far.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu Review

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I really appreciate the fact that I can listen to my phone in the car with relative ease (through a USB cord). There have been some issues with the car, however, including random spurts of refusing to accelerate in the middle of the highway for no apparent reason. For instance, one second (mainly when cruise control is employed) we'll be driving and the next, the car is kerplunking down the road and we're pushing the gas pedal down as far as it will go to hit 65 mph. The mechanic said nothing was apparently wrong but I I've seen other complaints of the same issue with the car.

Not a bad little car, unless you are tall

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

This is the third Malibu I have owned and all of them have been great cars. If you are taller though, I would not recommend this car. It is difficult to get in and out of. I hit my head frequently when trying to strap my child into a car seat and because of the car seat one of the front seats must always be moved up really close to the dash. Otherwise it has been a pretty great little car.

Very good starter vehicle for any first time car buyers. Cheap maintenance.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I own a 2011 Chevy Malibu and I just recently got this vehicle about a couple of weeks ago and as of right now I have no problems with the vehicle. It runs very smooth and has very good gas mileage. The only complaint, which really has nothing to do with the performance of the car, is the tail lights. The seem very retro and outdated even for the year of the car in my opinion.

Best all around sedan with good style

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

My Malibu is fantastic. What I like most about it is the great fuel economy for its size. It's the best all around sedan that I've owned. One complaint is the headlight replacement. To replace a headlight build I have to remove the front bumper. If a I have a shop perform this service it would cost a lot of money. I also like the styling. It's simple and easy on the eyes.

The ideal family sized sedan.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I absolutely love my Chevrolet Malibu! It is great on gas and rides very smooth! It is also very spacious and I would highly recommend this sized sedan for a larger family. The 2011 does not come with built in Bluetooth but you can always have it installed! The dashboard has gages to display what percentage your oil level is at, as well as tire pressure!

2011 Malibu comfortable ride.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

This is a good sized car for one person driving to work or a family taking an outing. Lots of room inside car, comfortable interior, good positioned a/c and heating. Huge trunk space, I have to almost crawl inside if an item rolls to the back of trunk, one disappointment, had to buy a spare tire for traveling. All else is perfect, good gas mileage.

- Sue K

Amazing Malibu she keeps going.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Very reliable car. It has done amazing with little maintenance. Spacious and has a lot of trunk space. I have not had any problems with it. There was 2 recalls but Chevrolet sends you a ton of mail until you get it fixed. What maintenance I have had to do is relatively inexpensive. It gets very good gas mileage even with a lead foot.

- Heather C

Comfortable, but gutless.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Fairly comfortable, pretty good leg room, large trunk for a sedan of its size. Kind of gutless climbing hills. Gas mileage is ok, no great but not bad. Have had to replace rims twice, the stock rims are hard to find and expensive. The transmission went out at roughly 80,000 miles, luckily we had an extended warranty.

- Joe D

The strength of the body of the vehicle is very impressive.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

The vehicle is good on gas very reliable when we'll maintenanced. Very strong body in accidents. The vehicle does have a common electrical problem. Repairs on the vehicle are not very costly to fix. Lights radio and battery are the basis of the electrical problems but are an easy fix with just a fuse replacement.

My dream that came true: Malibu car.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I really love my car and it was really affordable at that time that I bought. I only had a problem with its brakes but other than that it is totally fine. Sometimes we need to stop by at gas station more than couple of times a week and one of the rear door cannot open easily but it is not a big problem for me.

- Chevrolet C

Great for long distance trips. Sits very comfortably for 5 people

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Car sits very low, and having some electric problems with this car. The comfort of this is great. Very comfortable. The power of the car is good. It should have been made with more electronic features. Good for long trips. Lots of space in the front and back. Having some ball and joint problems though

- Nicole P

I found a sort of space to left of steering wheel good for change.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I really like my car which I bought in 2016 from a dealer in Maine. The only problem that I've had is that the low beam lights blew out and I had to go 3 times to a mechanic to have it fixed. The bumper has to be taken off each time and after third time a jumper plug was put in and fixed the problem..

- Carol R

Chevy Malibu's are good cars

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

It is extremely reliable with exceptional care for the car. You get really good gas mileage with the Malibu's too. It is comfortable and a good body size for driving. It's got enough space for other passengers as well. The older models still have good features, such as aux, sunroof, remote seats.

- Shannon F

Easy to maintain vehicle, Just a few electrical things make upkeep challenging

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Car is reliable overall. A few electrical issues throughout the years. Has to replace windshield wiper motor one fall. Power window motor is going bad. Headlights are very difficult to change in the front for the average person. Car does great with gas and runs well with regular maintenance.

- Samantha V

It needs to come with a spare tire

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

I had problems with the tire sensor the light stays on. It drives comfortably though. Auxiliary line out functions. Other issue my chargers that charges the battery to my cell phone does not function properly. But it did not come with spare donut tire. I would have to purchase one myself

- John O

It's ok it runs smoothly with all the problems fix

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

It's ok it drinks up a lot of gas but it runs good air. It's a nice size car but it also can tend to have a lot of problems. It has 5 seats 5 seatbelts nice size trunk. It's good on the wheel size and up under the hood it's pretty decent. There may be few problems you will have to fix

- Andre D

The Chevy Malibu is a good car that runs well.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

The Chevy Malibu is a reliable vehicle that runs well, as long as you maintain it and have the oil changed regularly. It is also pretty comfortable, though I wish the seat belts were more adjustable for people who are not over six feet tall. I would recommend this vehicle to others.

- Dana T

The best car on the market

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

My car has been very reliable. It drives smoothly and it is very comfortable to travel in. I have taken it on several trips. I haven't had much problems with it. Just your main wear and tear. It's been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

- Tim H

My vehicle is a 2011 Chevy Malibu. This is the first time I purchased a Chevy.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Really never had a problem with this vehicle. I only had to take care of normal repairs. The car runs good. I have 198,000 on this vehicle. This is the first time I owned a Chevy. The oil changes can be expensive because I use synthetic oil and it can cost $70.

- Pam B

Overall the Malibu is good for the price

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Water pump just went out but that is the only trouble so far at 100 thousand miles. Overall the comfort and feature is pretty basics. However for the price it has met my expectations. I plan on keeping it for several more years if the wear and tear remains minimal

- Kevin C

Malibu 2011 110,000 white exterior

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Ran great until 100,000. Had to get timing chain replaced. Rust spots on lower panel doors because of winter weather and low profile car. Maintenance oil changes go well. No other issues. Love the exterior and sleek design. Mine is my white in exterior.

- Lindsay M

Overall the car is a good for what you pay for

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Good starter car for college students, first car buyers. Small problems such as brakes abs lights comes on dash. Needed a wheel bearing replacement. Brake lights blow pretty fast. It's a good car ride excellent on road. Gas miles are great on highway.

- Tracy H

Great gas mileage. Rides good.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS w/1LS

Just prefer a truck than a car. But the gas mileage is great. Wish it was a little big. Wish it had Bluetooth to listen to music. The aux plug does not work anymore. Right down the road. Cooking cleaning. Performance reliability problems tight minimum
