It is been a good vehicle to me. There have been some issues with the check engine light in the past but nothing serious. It is a 7 year old car so it is starting to show it is age with some wear and tear. It’ is still running good so I am happy with it.

What went wrong with my car.
When I first got it I loved. It had a lot of updates compared to the car I had before.O took it in for something (I do not remember why) they found a lot wrong with it. I remember all what was wrong with it. So we got it fixed. It cost almost one thousand dollars. Since then so far I have not had any problems with it so far, I still love my car anyway.

Chevy Malibu. Car with hits and misses.
When I first got my Chevy Malibu I absolutely loved it. Then with time I started having problems. The rims are a huge problem for me. They are not applicable with the winter months. Rusting and make my tires go flat! To change the rims is another big purchase I do not want to put into my car.

Chevy Malibu: not fancy, but very reliable.
My car has been reliable for the most part. However, I have had frequent (at least once every few months) issues with various lights coming on- like the check engine light, etc. No actual problems, but frequent code issues causing the lights to come on. Other than that, it is a good car. Drives well, picks up speed nicely, and handles well in the snow. It is also roomy for being a car. I have a young child and still have plenty of room. I would really like if it had an easier set up for Bluetooth, I had to buy a cord for that. I also wish it had a sunroof.

Great 2013 Malibu with low miles, reliable car!
My car is very reliable, I've had very little issues with this car. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a full size sedan. This is my 2nd in a row Chevy Malibu! Great vehicle.I've had a small amount of recalls, all been taken care of. It very comfortably, have enough space for 3 people in the backseat. I have all electrical features. It's very good for long distance, gets great gas mileage. Have to use the more expensive oil though. Otherwise, everything else is great!

I absolutely love my Chevy Malibu!
It is a very nice vehicle. Beautiful inside and out. I wish it was a 6 cylinder engine, though. It is a little underpowered for me on the highway. It is had no major mechanical problems. I love the driver power seat and lumbar support. The sound system is awesome. The touch screen is handy. Love that it has Bluetooth.

Interesting detail for me is the backup camera it comes in handy.
The performance is pretty good but it takes a long time to accelerate sometimes like when you need a oil change. It is a full size car very spacious can fit up to 5 to 6 people if need be. The car has a backup camera, satellite radio and gas station features to show you the nearest one.

That it has an extremely small ground clearance which causes issues with snow but also with bottoming out easily.
I love most everything about it. The major issue I have is that it is super low to the ground which poses a problem in the winter with snow. Other than that, it rides nicely, has nice bells and whistles and makes me feel safe.

Perfect car for all drivers!
My car is extremely comfortable and great for long distances. We've had it for 5 years and have only had to perform regular maintenance and replace the tires once. Aside from that it's amazing. I constantly get compliments on it because it's a beautiful car. Performance wise it's spot on.

Happy with my 2013 Malibu.
It has been very reliable. Minimal service has been needed. My favorite feature has been the heated seats. The seats have been very comfortable for the many long trips we have taken. Biggest downside has been that the battery is in the trunk. I do wish there was more. Legroom in the backseat.

Air bag sensor light issue that is unnecessary.
Airbag warning light came on just after warranty ran out. Too costly to repair. Service technician said it was ok to drive as is. Hopefully he knows what he was talking about. With this light on, remote starter will not work and this was my favorite options on it. I wish gm had a way to help senior citizens with things like this.

Still in love after 7 years.
The ride is smooth, even after 7 years. I have had to do pretty significant maintenance in the last 3 years which included a new temperature gauge and transmission hose. I drive a lot for work so I have put about 145,000 miles on the car in the last 7 years. The child seat buckles are so convenient and the interior has held up well. The exterior paint has taken a beating between scratches and dents. Overall, I am still in love with my car. Two things I wish it had: more cup holders and Bluetooth capabilities to play music from my phone.

2013 Chevrolet Malibu ltz sedan is a great car.
I have bought this car in 2018 and it has given me no problems. I have how to change the brake pads once in two years. Extremely good on gas, very cheap, 35 dollars to fill it up. This car has a sunroof and Bluetooth connection. It is equipped with multiple spots to put your phone charging wires into. It has seat warmers and the interior is leather.

The eco of Malibu: the tale of a Chevy ahead of its time.
The Chevrolet Malibu is a very reliable car. I worked a job where I traveled doing HVAC and it got me everywhere I needed to go for a year. In and out of state. I haven't had many problems with it and I have had it for around 5 years. I would say to maintain this car to run this long this good you have to perform the recommended maintenance on the vehicle routinely. I have had to fix the brakes once. The backup camera is good but it could use some updates. I have seen cars with better. It is a very comfortable and roomy car, the Bluetooth is up to par, I really love the strips of blue lights that shine inside the car as you ride through the night. I love the eco features for instance it turns off when your at a red light according to your gas and upkeep then it automatically turns back on when you have to go. This is a very reliable car and it is very good on gas. It takes me around 35 to fill the tank with the car on e and it will ride for days. The 2013 Chevy Malibu is a very reliable and stylish car.

Fast little car, great gas mileage & reliability with routine maintenance.
Great gas mileage, reliable, & quick. There is rarely a problem, (I keep up better-than-normal maintenance), but when there is parts & the overall cost to fix it as much higher than typical... For a low cost car this is strange. Electronic steering is something I have never had in a vehicle before; when that went bad with no warning the steering wheel would just lock up; whether I was going 5 mph or 70 mph, that was not just terrifying but costly to fix as you have to replace basically the whole steering column/computer costing well over $1,000.

Great car, small fog light issue.
I love my car, it is very reliable, very few problems what there have been have been all basic maintenance issues, only thing I would say is the fog light covers could be a little better quality I had to replace mine several times as they kept falling out.

Small Chevrolet Malibu great starter car.
It is a small car. So would be great for a young teenager or young woman. Not that good in the rain. Has a slow accelerating speed but then it gets up there. Nice beginner car this was the first car I purchased myself. I am ready to sell and purchase a bigger car.

Simple and reliable car that I have used to travel to and from work which is 1 hour away in distance. Also used to travel on vacation several hours away. Saves you a lot of money.
Very smooth ride, have never had any trouble with engine. Occasionally have issues with my steering alignment and the entertainment system. The entertainment system will either freeze up or will just completely stop working all together for an extended period of time. Great on gas mileage and very comfortable ride overall.

I like do not like the change in the shape of the 2018 Malibu.
My vehicle has not had any major problems. I love driving car on the highway. The gas mileage is excellent. The car handles well in bad weather rain and snow. The car has maintained it original color as if it was new. The backseat seat holds three people comfortably. The glove compartment is a little small. The size of the trunk is great. I do not like the electric emergency brake or the fact the car does not have an actual spare.

It is a very luxurious looking car for a 2013 vehicle.
It has a problem with the engine, the side mirrors do not move. It runs smooth and looks luxurious from the inside. I love that it has a sunroof. I would definitely not pay 13k for the car, which is what I paid for. Definitely make sure all the car buttons work.

The touch screen is very nice.
It has a nice touch screen and back-up camera that are very helpful. Although the back seat could use some more space, the trunk is very spacious and holds a lot of things. The design is very modern and sleek which was very important to me. It has some little compartments that are not too obvious that I can store some of my things in.

2013 Chevy Malibu is a vehicle investment you will not regret!
My 2013 Chevy Malibu 2lt has been reliable since my purchase brand new in late 2012. No mechanical issues to date, only general replacement of normal wear and tear parts. The 2lt version is a good middle of the line version that has lots of great features like fog lamps, Bluetooth capabilities and is great on gas mileage.

Great car for someone who travels a lot or a first car.
I love my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu!! It drives and rides very comfortable. I haven't had many problems with my car, I travel and drive a lot. The car is great for a first car or even older people. My Malibu has the turbo in the engine so it gets up and goes very fast. Gas mileage is also a big plus on the car. I would definitely buy another Malibu.

My 2013 Chevy Malibu is one of the most reliable vehicles I have driven/purchased. As long as you keep up with the basic upkeep (tires, oil changes, etc.), there should be no real issues with your vehicle. The costs for maintenance and gas is much cheaper than other vehicles I have encountered in the past. My only complaint about this car is the sensor issues, through the sensor was already off when purchased. I recommend this vehicle for the everyday man or woman and new drivers as well. The speed gets up nicely without a turbo or aggressive engine and the built of this car is 'roomy' for shoppers or multiple passengers.

The seats are extremely comfortable, but they can be hard to adjust based on the position of the controls. I like that I can answer my phone through the Bluetooth system, but there’s no way to connect Bluetooth to play music through the sound system.

I love Chevy vehicles to began with. I like how they drive.
The only thing I do not care for about my car is currently when getting gas you have to do it manually because a sensor is popping up that says the gas it full and will shut off the automatic filling. Other than that I enjoy the how well the air and heat work. The seats are super comfortable. Would recommend to anyone that this is a reliable car to buy. Car seats fit extremely nicely in the back seat as I have 2 children. Plenty of legroom for others.

They need to know about the blind spots and to be careful when changing lanes.
It sits very low to ground so it is not good for bigger, taller people, or older people to get in and out of. Has quite a few blind spots. Pricing was very good. Drives good.

This car rides like a champ very smooth had a few problems when I first got it the crankshaft sensor went out but got it replaced for free ever since then I have had no issues seats are very comfortable radio works excellently and it is very spacious for it to be a four door. If you are interested in this car it is great good on gas and a lot of trunk space.

Overall the Malibu is a great family car. It is roomy and reliable. It has decent gas mileage. We have had minimal problems. Basically just the normal brakes etc. It has power and will get up and go if need be. I think the overall look of the car is nice as well.

Already had to replace oil sensor and fuel pump other than that replaced front and rear window also tires are a problem other than this its a decent vehicle except the fact th as t its not 2020 model I've also had to replace head gaskets and air conditioner.

It is a great starter car for high schoolers, or small family car.
The car has a smooth ride, oil changes are still as easy as ever, though it does use a synthetic oil or oil blend. Great car, does what you need, even as a base model.

Lighting issue but overall very great vehicle.
Very smooth driving. Great gas mileage. Very sturdy and well made. The only issue I have is my front right light tends to go out very often due to a wiring issue. Had to get this problem fixed but other than that the vehicle is great. I highly recommend it.

My car is a great vehicle for road trips and commuting. I personal really like the contemporary designs and finishes. The durability of the engine and other parts are not as reliable as prior cars that I have had. I have to replace my brakes for a second time due to caliper issues.

Very nice looking car! Rides smooth, gets excellent gas mileage. I've got over 100 thousand miles on my car and it still runs fine! Have never had any problems with it to date! Was a gift from my son and it was the first brand new car I've ever owned! Id recommend this type of car to anyone! My car has air condition, heated seats, on star available, it came with pioneer system in it. Seats are leather and cloth. Has hidden compartments. The radio system is awesome! This is a really nice sleek looking comfortable riding vehicle! Id recommend it to anyone, teens moms...it's got everything you'd want in a car! Came with warranty. Bought the car used and haven't had any issues with the vehicle other than the struts going bad. It is comfortable to be in and rides really nice. The seats are cloth which I wasn't a huge fan of in the beginning but they're not bad. I do miss having heated/cooling seats. A sunroof would've been a nice touch too!

My Chevrolet Malibu threw my eyes since I drive it every day.
It is roomy, silent and smooth. There’s a sporty look with a luxury feel and the updated stereo is good. The car usually rides well unless there’s something broken. It does not take too much gas. I have leather heated seats and a remote starter so the car does seem to be newer than it is actual year.

Any Chevy that I have gone to has also been helpful in explaining what my car needs. Chevy Malibu is a pretty good car.
Overall my Malibu is a pretty reliable car, there have been a few problems that have arose with it over the year and a half that I have had it however. The alternator belt fell off, there was a problem with the cam sensor, and slits in my air intake hose appeared, causing my oil to leak.

Love my Malibu, definitely consider purchasing one if you need a family size.
I purchased this vehicle as a used car with less than 23,000 miles and I absolutely love it. The only thing that could be better about it would be the room in the backseat. This is a good size family vehicle otherwise and I would definitely consider purchasing another Chevy Malibu. I have had no mechanical problems with this vehicle other than needing oil changes and new tires which is to be expected.

Reliable, safe, and affordable vehicle.
I love everything about my vehicle. I have only had a few issues with air conditioning leak and a water pump issue all of which were covered under the warranty. This car has like 5 warranties that I didn't know were available. The service center I go to is a gm provider and I always receive top notch service and they always know me an my car. Chevy is a great product and I would buy again. This is my second Chevy.

My vehicle is. Midsize car with 4 doors. I love the Bluetooth. This allows me to use phone if needed. Everytime I go to start it up, it give me no issues and start straight up. Except when I needed a new battery. In the winter it drives through the snow. I slip and slide very little. Since I added. Four all winter tires. Live love the color of blue, I would of preferred for the front end to sit a little higher through. All in all this has proven to be a good buy for me. I'll traveled the highway many times and it hasn't failed me yet. It rides smooth but if you do not put on your cruise control you may be speeding without realizing it. What else can I say.

The car is good on gas and continues to be go on gas.
It is a valid car. Touchscreen interior, lights on the inside of the car. After a while had to get the cruise control fixed, brakes, the lock system for the keypad, and now the rattles when you go over 60. If all that didn't play a factor in the issues with the car it would be a great car. Recommend that if you get one either get one in good condition or get the newer ones.

Why my car costs way more than it is actually worth.
Overall it is a good reliable car but over time I have noticed that it requires a lot more maintenance than the average car. I am not sure if this is by design by the manufacturer but it is very costly. When I am searching for my next car, that is the primary reason I'll stay away from another Chevy.

Love that the car does not waste that much gas and I only have to put like $30.
The car drives really well and it gets me places but I had to change the tires like 10 times already and it is not that fast. I like fast cars. It really is not that bad of a car. Like it is never shut down on me or left me stranded anywhere. I do not have to put that money on gas and the gas does not waste fast.

Stylish with good gas mileage.
I have had my Malibu for 7 months and the only problem I have had is it had to replace the battery. I get 29 mpg going 65 mph on a flat road. It is very stylish too, I like the interior lighting on the dash. And the awesome information screen on the HUD display.

Good gas mileage, steering will have more control over the vehicle.
Not much leg room for passages side with two car seats. Had to spend over 6,000 on new engine after having the vehicle for 3 yrs.. I now have to pay 10 a month for OnStar just to unlock the doors. Front seats at the side is way too small when u drop your phone. Not enough cup holders..

The new computers placed in cars are making problems where there are none

It has really kept me safe in situations that could have turned into a severe accident.
I love the design and technology that is present in my car. I wish it had more features like heated/ventilated seats, rain-sensing wipers etc.

Great gas mileage and very reliable!
I love my car only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I would personally rather have an SUV eventually but right now as a recent college graduate it is great. Wish it had a back up camera other than that great features like XM and Bluetooth . Very reliable never had any issues than some I have cause myself.

Reliable stylish Chevrolet Malibu with incredible gas mileage.
The car is very smooth, no technical problems, very reliable and great on gas. I feel safe while driving because Chevy builds their vehicles well. You can feel it in how heavy the doors are. There are also forward collision alerts which is great. Large touchscreen radio is nice too and heated seats, outlet, etc. Great car I really recommend!

Has lots of storage space.
Has great gas mileage. Drives and maintains wonderfully. Gives all the information you need to keep your maintenance schedule up to date. Have had no mechanical issues. Can be driven in standard or automatic mode. Has the dual air or heating system, which is wonderful. Great stereo with phone sync capabilities for hands free driving. Lots of legroom and seating.

The radio flips up for a hidden compartment.
Has had motor problems and the abs has gone bad more than once. It is a very comfortable car and handles well in the snow and rain. The interior is leather and I love all the hidden compartments that you can put stuff in. It's a great family car, just wish it was a little bigger especially in the trunk.

I will say stay away from the chev Malibu,ours is a 2013 with 100.500.since it hit 54.000 klm.we change the 4 wheel bearings, the 4 rotors, the 4 calerbers,and all the pads.the 8 way power seat shorted out.the air compressor burnt out,and had to be replaced.when you drive down the road the car will quite,I mean everything will go dead.And I could go on and on.so if you buy one be really careful it is really not safe for the road.I would get rid of ours but can’t afford to it took everything to keep it on the road.

The title of my review would be, look out ford the blind spots!
This car has been kind of a lemon from the moment I have gotten it. I think it has horrible blind spots, and I have had multiple problems with the tires, and with the computer parts to the car. I kind of wish cars could just go back to the days when there wasn't all the bells and whistles.

Ac went out after only 8 mth.
Water pump went out right after purchasing along with the ac 8 months after. I had nothing but issues with it stalling out. I literally would trade it if I could afford the payment again. On the plus side it does get good gas mileage and its roomie unlike the Cruz.

The one most important thing is that it is reliable.
The vehicle drives really nice! The car drives really nice, the interior is comfortable. I love the Bluetooth that came with it. I wish it had heated seats though.

Bought it used, still a great car to drive 7 years later.
Purchased used: cons: major blind spots. Pros: smooth driving, good stereo, plenty of room in car and in trunk, Bluetooth. Issues: will no longer start with just the key. Engine issues (personal issue). Outside frame surrounding window has popped off.

Nude interior grey exterior very beautiful all over. Beautiful as a Malibu.
There’s really no problems with my car. I absolutely love it and all the cool features it has especially the auto stop and the backup camera feature. It rides very smooth and is a very reliable vehicle with very good gas mileage. The leather interior is the best way to go makes it more luxurious.

Gas mileage is amazing! Cannot get better than that.
It is a really good dependable car. It gets pretty awesome gas mileage and the price is also very reasonable. Pretty good for a first car for someone just learning how to drive. Chevy normally makes good cars so I wasn't disappointed at all with this one.
