239000 miles and running strong

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado P/U with the Z71 package .. it is 4 wheel drive . I drive it every day . I use it for construction work as well as travel. It has the extended cab with 4 doors. The bed is 6 1/2 ft. sometimes that is a problem when caring lumber or large tools. The interior has the two seats in front both power and heated. The center is a full console .I like that the heat is sent to the back by vents but that limits the air flow to the floor. The truck has 239000 miles on it. Except for normal maintenance [ tires, wipers ,battery, brakes and fluid changes ] I have had no issues . I still have the original plugs and wires and it starts on the first turn of the key

Trucks vs cars in my opinion.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

My truck is a great truck I enjoy driving my truck everywhere I go. It is not the best on gas. It is white but is hard to clean. I enjoy the long bed. The transmission went out easily. I think I will buy another truck like it one day but I am not sure how it will be. Today is the last time I'll drive my truck. I am selling my truck tomorrow. This is why I think I'll buy a car next time. I love the idea of the cost of a new car. And my car will be better on gas. Cars are faster and I like speed. And cars smell nice.

Simplicity with the feel of class.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

The vehicle rides very smoothly (especially for a 4x4. Through the features in the vehicle are quite average, they still tend to be of a good and I would say above average quality. My biggest disappointment or should I say the one thing that I really dislike is the 'third door option'. It opens like a suicide door, which sometimes presents some difficulty in both loading of passengers and other items.

Most reliable 19 year old vehicle I've ever owned.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

My truck specifically has been a working man's truck for many years. While it's lasted this long it has become rusted and worn. The truck works great after 19 years but does require regular maintenance. I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't require it for long commutes or road trips; much better for local runs and hauling heavy loads.

Great quality Chevy, still runs in good condition

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

This truck's performance is great, I find it very reliable, as well as comfortable. For gas on this vehicle it's as good as you would guess a truck to be but I do not mind, I really like this truck. With this vehicle I would gladly keep for as many years as I can, as it is said if it's not broke don't fix it.

Is very important, is beautiful and his super heavy and hard.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

My problems is my truck are bigger like for me because I am little, but is beautiful and it's heavy the color is very good, he runs very hard and has a very good engine his a/c is very good and cold, his bearings are very comfortable, its 4x4 has very few miles was taken from agency Chevrolet agent.

It has an extended cab & seats 3 people providing lots of room.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

My Chevy Silverado 1500 has never given me problems with regular maintenance, I have only had to replace the battery and fuel pump in the 3 years I have owned it. Heater, a/c and all other functions have never failed me. Always a reliable truck for any work, or just going for a drive.

My truck is Beast! It earned that name while hunting and climbing rocks.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

I love my truck. It pulls, hauls, climbs, and towns without burning tons of gas. It is dependable and it starts up easy even when it's super cold. Even though it's been wrecked and experimented on, it remains sturdy and forgiving. It's my first truck and I will never let it go.

Fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. Air is incredible!

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

I feel incredibly safe in my truck. It drive's like a tank! I have the extended cab and the extra doors are amazing. There is plenty of room to haul 2 adults, 2 dogs, and a teenage boy. Gas mileage is typical for a full size truck. Better on the highway of course.

Chevy Silverado 1500 review

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

The truck has rust, brake lines have been replaced a few times, and the oil needs changing every few months. It does have high mileage but it's still running so that's a plus. The interior is good, doors are a little squeak, and the panels pop off before.

Vehicle to last a lifetime

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

It has gone through alot and is still a very dependable vehicle. As long as you keep up with the necessary oil change and check fluids this vehicle will last you a lifetime I am very happy with my vehicle and a seat around in the foreseeable and Future

The know all of my truck and its ability.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base

I drive a Chevy pickup.. It is by far the most dependable vehicle I have had. I love all the features it came with. I have had no problems at all with it since I bought it. If I had to tell a friend what to by I would tell him he needs one like I have.
