2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Owner Reviews & Problems
Reviews For Chevrolet Silverado 1500
We love our Chevy Silverado!
Had an issue with the truck dying when you would brake and for no reason at all at times and the steering would not work. We took it in several times and got so frustrated we almost traded it in. Finally we found someone that figured out the issue, and it turned out to be a bad battery connection. Once that issue was resolved we have had no other problems. We love the truck. It is comfortable, roomy, and has Bluetooth, GPS. One thing I might add is that I am not a tall person and sometimes it can be hard to see to the left when I am looking before turning or changing lanes. My husband does not have that problem so I think it is my height so it would be nice if the seat could raise you up enough so you could see out better. The acceleration is great because we drive a lot of highway miles and merging in and out in a large metropolitan area is a necessity. So far as maintenance goes, we keep the oil changed and the air filter on time and we have had no problems. It gets about 19 mpg and runs great. The ride is pretty smooth and it corners and handles very well. Also when the weather is icy or slippery it handles the road conditions just fine. This is what we drive in bad weather, period. As for the looks of the Silverado, it is a good looking vehicle. I love that you have the OnStar and satellite radio trials added also. There is plenty of legroom in the back for the kids and occasional adult that rides back there. Very easy to buckle in car seats also. We love your Silverado!
I love my Chevy Silverado z71! And I love having all the bells and whistles!
It has all the bells and whistles, absolute favorite feature is the heated steering wheel in the winter time. I have not had any issues with my truck, it runs perfectly. The seats in the crew cab flip up making it very convenient to haul groceries, or larger items that I do not want to put in the bed of the truck. There is an extra step in the rear bumper to help get into the bed of the truck. In the summer I switch to two wheel drive to help improve my gas mileage, in winter I switch back to on-demand 4WD. It also has two memory settings for the driver's seat, making it convenient for two driver's to automatically move to their preferences, a huge plus since I am shorter and need to raise the height of the seat, my boyfriend says it is like getting into a clown car, so he can hit his setting and make it easy for him to get into the truck.
This vehicle is reliable and comfortable.
Comfort: every seat in the truck is comfortable. The heated and ac options for the front seats are great. The heated steering wheel is better than I thought it would be. I love and use all of the extras. Problem: there are no vents in the back seat area. This is an extended cab, which means in the summer, the people in front are freezing while the people in the back are barely cool and vice Versa for the winter. Reliability: I have never been in a driving situation where I have not felt safe. The safety features have saved us in a couple situations that could have turned out bad. Performance: great get up and go, great towing power, never had any major or minor problem. Overall great vehicle.
My Chevrolet Silverado pick up story. It is powerful and very reliable.
I have always driven Chevrolet product because I believe their the most reliable American brand and have better resale rate than other American made brands. I love my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck, it is a 4 door with navigation and Wi-Fi equipped and drives as smooth as any car on the road. I use my Chevrolet pick up for work and play. I use everyday to for work. I use my Chevrolet Silverado to tow my boat to the lake on most weekends and holidays. It uses a little more gas then a car but fun to drive and just love it. I have owned 3 other Chevrolet pickups and loved each and everyone of them.
Chevy Silverado is top notch.
I had an issue with vibration. My purchasing dealer replaced the tires and rebalanced the wheels and the vibration went away. The gas mileage is better than expected. This truck can pull a house! We towed a 32 foot camper 175 miles and over Mont eagle mountain with no issues. Set the cruise going down hill and the integrated engine braking will save your breaks. The 4 wheel drive shifts very smooth. There is some slight steering tightness in full 4 wheel drive, but that is expected due to the gearing difference. 4 wheel auto mode is great in rain or snow.
Entering and exiting a truck with a bad back.
Outside of replacing the battery and 1 tire the truck has not had any problems at all. It drives great. The truck came with a bed liner and step-in running boards, which make it easier for people to access the vehicle. In my case the seat height is perfect to sit in the seat and turn in. People with a bad back would enjoy this feature. When exiting the vehicle it also makes it easier on the back muscles by just turning out and putting the feet on the ground. To exit smaller cars, I have to place extra pressure on my back due to a lower seat height.
2015 Chevy pick up review.
I would not own another vehicle at this time. It is perfectly made for me. It helps me when I am in tough situations I helped pull my son out of the ditch when he got was drunk. I tease him to this day because he owns a Dodge. I generally get over 20 miles per gallon. The interior is comfortable. The get-up and go feature has great acceleration when I need it. I purchased this in 2016 for a great price. I could still resell this truck for more than I paid for it. Yet, I may never resell this truck, it is perfect for me.
It Gets pretty good gas mileage for a full size truck. Even better on road trips!
I own a beautiful truck with lots of bells & whistles and lots of room to haul cargo in the bed.. Handles well on the road & gets decent gas mileage for a truck. Makes me feel safer than I would in a car. Not a fan of the amount of room in the back seat, could stand to have a little bit more leg room. Also since I live in the South it really needs additional AC vents in the back seat area instead of just having a vent under each of the front seats. It would be a big help keep the back seat passengers cooler.
Heated seats! Leather seats that heat up in the winter. 4 wheel drive.
Back seat stays hot. Leather seats make you sweat and sticky. When you hit bumps its bounces you, in the back seat. Has some nice features like the front seats warms up with heater on. Easy to clean. Has GPS, radio. . . Etc.. Radio has a very large selection of channels and you can put your name on them. You can sync your mobile phone to the truck so you can answer the phone with the truck speakers. All electric auto lock windows and doors. Adjustable heat and air. Mirror lights up on passenger side.
I love my Silverado with all the bells and whistles.
My Silverado has all the bells and whistles and I love them all. My favorite is the heated steering wheel. Others include the digital display that shows the oil life, and the tire pressure. I have 4WD but put it in 2wd in the summer to get better fuel mileage. The only thing I wish it had was the integrated blind spot mirror on the passenger side, not just the driver's side. It has been an extremely reliable vehicle that I intend to drive until it will no longer go, hopefully 300k+ miles!
