I just bought a used Sonic 2015 a month ago today. It has 115,487 on it and I absolutely LOVE IT. She is so beautiful, diamond dust deep gun metal grey. She purrs and you have to be careful or you'll find yourself going faster than you thought you were. I have to put 4 new tires on her because the 2 back ones have a slow leak and tune up and AC inspection.I honestly find this little car extremely enjoyable to drive. Since I only put about 1,200 to 1,800 miles a year on a car I hope I have her for the rest of my life. I am so thrilled that I bought this car.

Beyond reliable and comfortable little car.
Reliable vehicle by far. Limited expenses, besides maintenance. Comfort is sustainable. I would recommend anyone to undercoat their vehicle to prevent rust. I am currently on 116,000 miles with no mechanical problems. Strong, reliable engine with no recalls. I have replaced a battery.

The sonic is a reliable vehicle. The only issues have been the emission light coming on when there have been no detected issues. Other than that, the car is comfortable, gets great gas mileage and despite its small size has considerable space for passengers and cargo in the back.

Deceptively small Chevy sonic.
The car drives beautifully. I always thought small cars were smoother and this one is no exception. Although it is a smaller car, there is still plenty of legroom in both the back and front seats. The trunk is also decent sized. I have had two strollers folded up in there at once. Beyond that, it is amazing on gas. I only have to fill up about once a week and $20 almost fills the tank entirely.

I love that if it is cranked no one can steal it unless they have my keys.
I love how my vehicle has been running for six years now, but I do not like how my paint seems to be fading already. I have only had to replace my battery once. I love the style of it and I love how my seats can fold down if I need extra space. I love my armrest in my car as well. I love how it is a pusher starter, but I do not like how my buttons have caved in and now I cannot even use it anymore, but overall it is a really nice car!

This car is fantastic and reliable.
I love my Chevrolet sonic. It is been a very reliable car and has not had too many issues. It is fantastic on gas mileage. For as small as it is it is still comfortable to sit in all seats and has a surprisingly large trunk for a car its size. The only issue I have had was due to the air conditioning motor. Luckily, I took it to the dealership and it has been fine ever since. This is a great car for younger drivers such as high school students or college students just starting out. It's safe, not very expensive, and is reliable. So far I have not experience anything major going wrong and as long as you take care of the car it will run great.

2015 Chevrolet sonic review.
The 2015 Chevy sonic is the newest vehicle I have owned and I have had it for 8 months now. There has not been a single issue with this vehicle since I have had it, the only “parts” I have had to put money into is a set of tires. It is got heated leather seats, a touch screen radio, with Bluetooth capabilities and satellite radio.

Little car that rides like a big car!
This car is super slick. It is small but powerful. It is really pretty and very comfortable. Heated seats and a backup camera are a big plus. Super smooth ride. The interior is well put together, all digital except the speedometer. It tells you how many miles you have left until your gas tank is empty. Great on gas mileage at 32 mph city and even better on the highway.

Mostly satisfied, would recommend.
Mostly satisfied with the Chevy sonic lt. I have a moderate work commute and the car gets me there and back mostly without issue. Car is reasonably space, decent mileage. Occasional problems--car sometimes 'shudders' or vibrates noticeably when braked at an intersection, recent issues with oil and coolant leaks. Overall, would recommend.

I have had my car since 2015 brand new off the lot and it now has 95000 miles and I have never had an issue rather than the usual ones I have had to put brakes and rotors on it once, oil changes, tires and one wheel bearing. It actually goes through snow very well for a front wheel drive car and is amazing on gas. It is not the most roomy car but it is comfy rather than that.

Air conditioner issues in the summer with my Chevy sonic.
Sometimes in the summer, the ac does work very well. It runs hot, therefore it can be very frustrating. I have had it checked out and was told most newer vehicles ac does this to keep the engine from overheating. Still, it is frustrating, as it gets really hot in Arizona.

I have not noticed many issues with the performance of my car. It is very reliable! It is also very comfortable for me and my husband. We both love it! I bought it because it has enough room in the back seat for my siblings to ride around with me in and now our future little one too. 2015 sonic: ideal car for teenager or adult with no children!
Hi! I love my vehicle. Overall it is a great vehicle! However, it does not have power windows or cruise control. It has a digital speedometer. It has FM/am radio. It also has an option to get Wifi in the vehicle. It is pretty spacious. It is ideal for a teenager or person who is not planning on having kids. The one I own is blue, they make them in all types of colors though! It drives very smooth. The gas mileage is very good, it gets 35 miles per gallon on average. It can reach speeds of 110 -115.

This car is good and reliable and has given us little issue.
This car is great, however having a small child the car seat is too big for the car and it is hard to get our stroller in and out of the back. It does not have backseat ac which has been a little rough. However it runs well and is an overall good car, I just wish it was a little bigger.

The only thing I like about the vehicle is that it is good on gas.
Motor is not good. Exterior is bad. Everything is falling apart, very small, not a good car for a family with kids. Window chips easily. Interior chips easy. I'd be good on gas but would not recommend driving out of town or out of state with it. Stutters a lot.

Very reliable with no problems. It does not have a smooth ride but that is like most small cars. It gets excellent gas mileage. I would prefer that it have a temperature gage as well as power windows. Lacks cruise control. It has a smooth transmission.

I have had zero issues with this car. It has taken me on several trips perfectly fine. Gas mileage is incredible. It is small, but that is perfect for just me. Maybe not comfortable for someone over the height of 5'3''. Only complaint is that it does not have automatic windows and very little storage room.

Touch screen stereo system. Automatic start system power windows turbocharged engine good gas mileage it only takes a twenty dollars to fill the gas tank. It is an all around good car. Not good for family travelling because it gets cramped inside with four or more people.

Brilliant car, great gas mileage.
This car has been more reliable than any other car I have had. It handles very well in both rain and snow. Brilliant gas mileage, thirty dollars fills my tank and lasts for the entire week. The only complaint I have is that doing big grocery trips are a bit difficult due to the small trunk.

My experience with a Chevy sonic.
Tire sensors are bad. Heat and ac have broken. Car rides smooth and interior is small but comfortable. Easy to drive. Overall I’d say it is a reliable car just has annoying problems such as ac and heat going out. Also had an issue with the computer randomly frying and had to get the whole wiring system replaced.

Affordable features. This car is great on reporting maintenance tasks.
I was afraid to buy an American car but Chevy has not disappointed me. Everything on it is working great. The only problems I have had were the unavoidable ones that come from accidents/damage by others. All I have really had to do since buying it is change the battery. You get maintenance reports to email that tell you about tire pressure and oil, which is a helpful reminder. Runs great. Just as comfy overall as any Corolla I have owned.

My only complaint is I be had issue with the tires the sensor for air pressure would come on constantly even when there wasn't an issue with the tire. You can make voice commands
I own a 2015 Chevy sonic. There is a choice when you buy a sonic to get turbo or not, I personally do not have the turbo. The car comes with onstar, Sirius FM and is Bluetooth compatible so you can listen to music on your phone wirelessly or even talk on the phone through your car. The sonic is a hatchback and come with a "shelf" I guess you could call it for the trunk.

The car has been good to me even though lately has been breaking of different stuff but just normal stuff that after few years needs to be dealt with. It is great with gas. We have traveled a lot in car going different places to see family or pleasure. It fits 5 people comfortably. It has a lot of trunk space. In Christmas with back seats down I was able to fit a whole Christmas tree.

My car is a standard which isn't common anymore.
The only thing I dislike about my car is a weird fuel which people online state is a malfunction in the car. Just did some normal wear and tear maintenance that needed to be done at 100,000 miles and it runs almost like its new. I plan on keeping my sonic around for the next 5 to 10 years. Great car.

I love my vehicle. It has been reliable. It is comfortable to drive. There are tire gauges that sometimes act up in the cold weather. The only problem I have had so far is one of the tire pressure sensors let go and had to be replaced.

I would NOT recommend!!!
I would absolutely not recommend a Chevy Sonic! I bought my 2015 Sonic brand new with 8 miles on it. Three of the miles being from the test drive. It drove perfectly smooth. However, after purchasing it, the nightmare began. On the drive home from the dealership the car broke down. The O2 sensor went out causing the car to shut down. Being under warranty the dealership towed it back replaced the sensor and I went on my way. About a week later the cigarette/charging port popped all the way out. It was also replaced at no charge. Another week later the door locks stopped popping up and the rings around the top wouldn't stay on. They told me it was something to do with the programming and sensors. That summer I noticed if you put on the gas it stalled. I took it in they said it was caused by the air conditioner which was normal. Problem was it did it without the air conditioner on. The mechanic said he couldn't get it to do it. Really because everyone that drives it can feel it, even my 15 year old daughter, who the car was actually purchased for. The radio screen glitches and will go blank but usually comes back on. Another so called electrical problem that was no longer covered because the bumper to bumper warranty stops at 36,000 miles. At 40,000 miles there was a loud knocking sound coming from the engine. Took it in they said it was normal. About 50,000 miles it was leaking oil. Luckily Chevy turbo engines come with a powertrain warranty until 100,000. The powertrain covers pretty much nothing because there is always the fine print. The mechanic replaced the cam shaft valve cover. He said that's where the oil was coming from. A day later after replacing the cover the radiator started leaking coolant from the reservoir not the radiator. Took it back in. They said the reservoir had a leak. In which the cooling system is not covered under the powertrain warranty. Replaced the reservoir it started leaking worse. Took it back they said the system is pressurized and told me to replace the cap. I did and it was worse then the initial leak. Took it to another mechanic who told me there was a hole in the radiator and the main hose. Replaced all of the cooling components including thermostat and its still leaking. And once again its leaking oil. They put dye in the oil trying to find where the leak is. I had to pay upfront incase it's not covered under warranty. There has been multiple issues that is usually maintenance but I feel shouldn't of needed replaced yet. I'm thinking that this safe and trustworthy car I bought for my teenager was the biggest mistake. So disappointed in this Chevy!

Very gas efficient takes about 20-25 dollars to fill up depending on gas prices.
My 2015 Chevy sonic is very small and compact. The back seat is extremely little, my car seat is behind the passenger seat because you have to let the seat up. However it is good on gas I love that l, has manual windows hate it. Has hands free but not Bluetooth so I have to use an aux cord.

Major engine problems for such low mileage.
The 2015 Chevy sonic was bought used, but within the two years of owning it, we've have to replace an important engine sensor, the motor mounts that hold the engine in, and the flex pipe connecting to the exhaust. Not very reliable for a simple car, my husband and I are very dissatisfied.

Great option for a first time buyer!
So far this car has been really reliable for me. I do not do much driving as I typically am only using the vehicle to go to and from work and to the stores here and there. My only complaints would be that the drive is not the smoothest and that you are able to hear a lot from the outside. But for the price point and the type of car being a smaller, compact car I would say that this is a fair trade off. It is also pretty good with gas.

I have no issues with my vehicle. Just the usual maintenance issues each vehicle begins having once they reach the 5 year mark and warranty has ended. It is a very reliable car. I have been in a couple of minor accidents, and thankfully, nobody was injured in any way.

Problem: everything is electronic except for the windows, you manually have to roll up and down and I find that annoying. And if you do not have your seatbelt on before turning on the car it will beep very loudly until you turn it on. Performance: awesome!! Great gas mileage as well. It is reliable and easy to drive.

My opinion about the Chevy sonic.
Problems with wheels, ac unit, problems with sensory in the car. Problems with housing unit, problems with the evap unit in the vehicle causing it to stall when you put gas in it. Also the locking unit on the car only works when it wants to. It is a reliable car I have had it for 4 years but it has had issues since I began the lease.

It gets 37 mpg. This is the only good thing about it.
It has had one problem after another since I bought it. The first year I owned it. The engine fan malfunctioned. It took 2 weeks to get a new part to fix it. The wipers are junkie. I am even finished paying for it and I have had heating and cooling problems with it for a year now.

The hands free elements on the steering wheel is great.
I like that my car is small, good on gas and has plenty of legroom in the back for my son who is only 14 and 6'2''. I do not like that it can only fit him and a car seat for a baby and a front passenger. I do not like that when going uphill with a fully loaded down car it has no power to climb. I like that i have a manual shift and i like that it has a ton of air bags (it is why i bought it for all the impact protection and gets good in town gas mileage) i love how it tells me my tire pressure is getting low and i love the onstar and bluetooth connection. I got the one without a back up cam, but my friend has the same car that has the backup camera. I do not think i like having the camera because it makes me feel lazy and not want to check my surroundings as much.

Vehicle is perfect if what you are wanting is a small cute reliable vehicle.
I have no problems with it except for space in the very back trunk, I wish it were a bit bigger. It drives great & only takes about $20-$25 to fill up! It is comfortable if what you are looking for is a small vehicle. I really like that this has the ability to turn on the engine prior to getting it, but I wish it would turn on the air or heat.
It's a reliable vehicle that gets good gas mileage on trips; however, the miles per gallon is greatly diminished in the city. Also, the vehicle sits rather low. The front side edge has been scraped a number of times while curbside parking. When I park at home in a driveway that sits on an incline, the vehicle scrapes. I can't back in because it scrapes worse than just pulling in.

Do not get this cheap car.
After doing proper maintenance on my vehicle it still fails engine wise. I have had multiple problems with my radiator. Servicing the vehicle will cost the same has a down payment for a brand new one. The vehicle is a 4 cylinder turbo. The salesman told me it would be equivalent to a v6 which is what I wanted. Overall do not get this car.

Best small family car ever.
I love the size and gas mileage I get with this car! The only thing I would change is my manual windows, and add a sunroof! I have had few to no issues, only general upkeep and a replaced battery. Even the stock tires lasted me quite a long time. I bought this car for the safety as well, since I have children.

I love my car but I wish the inside was a little nicer I would like it to be more luxurious but I understand the price is cheaper so it will not be as luxurious. It drives really well. Chevy sonic 2015 brief review.
My car drives well. It still higher than you would expect from a small car, so that lets you see the road better. This is a hatchback and holds quite a bit. When you fold the back seats down, you can carry even more. I have put furniture in there. The ride is smooth. There is not a CD player. I didn't realize that until after I bought the car. That probably would have been a deal breaker for me. I still love listening to my CDs. You can get XM radio though.

It keeps going and going! Thousands of miles and going strong
Car is great for a small family, we have a child and 2 dogs and we all fit quite comfortably. The seats are great for long rides and the seat warmers are wonderful in the winter. The digital displays are easy to read during the day and at night. The storage space in the trunk is incredible too with lots of space under as well as in the trunk. Carpeting is very easy to clean. Sirius XM is a great feature and we use whenever we can. Great gas mileage even 4 years after getting the car. No performance issues this far and we've put 46K miles on it. Highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a nice, reliable, fuel efficient vehicle for everyday use.

The vehicle only has one arm rest
It's a nice car the touchscreen is a great feature I love how it shows your speed in digital my favorite feature is the Bluetooth and where the USB connection is located

It's a great car and I really like it.
My car has a lot of features like a better stereo comfortable seating it's a little low to the ground but not too bad. It's easy on gas and very stylish.

Unfortunate sonic problems.
Car itself is very good only downside is there is not much room in the back for car seats. My 1 year is very tall requiring a larger car seat which once in goes in to the back seat the passenger seat cannot go all the way back. Making the rider very uncomfortable.

Small black 4 door sedan.
Really the only thing I don't like about it and it's just a preference but I prefer to have traditional gauges instead of digital. I love the car, its economical and small. It's great on gas and has a great sport mode for any track racing. It's very manageable and maneuverable.

Reliable with a few perks!
It is very reliable and comfortable. It has OnStar which is helpful when in need of assistance. The only issues I have had is that the gear shift button broke after a few years, so that could make it very unsafe if not fixed. And I do not like how you have to pay a subscription to use other features if you have the touch screen, such as, navigation.

Grey Chevy sonic 2015 review.
All in all a pretty decent car. Runs smoothly if regular maintenance is upkeep. Gas mileage is fantastic on this car so great for a road trip car. Only bad thing I would say about this car it is not the most reliable in winter. The interior is a nice grey shade so stains do not show up super easily but is also hard to get stains out of. The car parts last awhile I had it for 5 years before I had to change anything on it. Not a huge backseat but roomy enough and decent size trunk. Has remote start and a nice touch screen radio.

Affordable price and durable
My vehicle is really good save a lot of gas, since I bought this car I do not get any problem it is very useful, I use everyday at work. If ever I have a chance to get a new one I will get this kind of brand car, because this is affordable price and also durable.

I love my Chevy sonic hatchback.
I love my car. The only problem I have had with my car was my check engine light came on because the sensor in my gas cap broke. Other than that just normal car maintenance. Mine is the hatchback style and so I have used my car as a tent on a few road trips by laying the back seat down. It wasn’t terrible to sleep on.

It is a tiny car with GPS and back. Up camera and spacious trunk.
It is cute and is to park. It is got a backup camera that helps with parking and backing up. It has a good mileage which saves me gas. .

Great, cheap car with no major issues.
It is been a great car with no major issues after 5 years. It is very comfortable and great with gas. It takes synthetic oil so I only need an oil change every 5,000 miles. The only issue I have run into is with it sitting so low to the ground. It has a hard time trudging through deep snow.

Surprisingly enough leg room in the front passenger/driver seat for tall people.
Plenty of legroom for people six feet tall in the front. Has power and is able to 'get up and go'. Economical gas mileage. Heater and air conditioner work quickly. The car is very low to the ground which makes getting in and out difficult for tall people despite the adequate front seat leg room. The back seat area is very small and difficult to get in and out of for standard size people. So it is useless as a passenger area for tall or big people. I use the back seat for groceries if needed. The trunk area is handy and the panel used to hide contents can be removed if more space/access is needed.

Affordable maintenance easy to use.
My vehicle is cool to use less gas to use. Affordable price I never get any problem. Maintenance is low and affordable. Save gas a lot good to drive. Read more reviews to others I have limited words. I have work now I am busy explaining here. Please buy asap.

Some minor issues along the way, but overall reliable.
This car has been in the shop for a gear shift issue before. Part of the handle/grip would get stuck and would only loosen up with wd-40, so the gear shift eventually had to be replaced. Otherwise it is a great car. It is been through a few accidents but no one in our car has ever been hurt. It regular drives through the mountains and has held up well.

Chevrolet sonic. The most comfortable and reliable car.
My Chevrolet sonic is an awesome car! It always gets me where I need to be and is always reliable. The leather seats are easy to clean and the heating in the seats is wonderful to have in the winter. It has very comfortable seats and plenty of legroom for all passengers. The great mileage is the best part of the car.

Good car, reliable, essays.
Love the bright green color, problems with the radio after a free fix from a recall. Radio worked perfectly until they 'fixed' it. Drives well, almost no problems aside from usual wear and tear and maintenance. Would buy the same car again. A little too small for my family now.

Small, efficient, great on gas.
This is a great vehicle for a college student or someone trying to save money on gas and getting the best of their miles, it is not very roomy for a family though. Has been a great car not high maintenance at all just normal things like breaks and oil changes for sure. Has all the needs you could want in a car for Bluetooth and etc.

Speedy little compact car.
The car is super comfortable even though it is so compact. It is really great on gas and I have had minimal problems with it. I love that it came in a really bright green color! Only downside is the trunk is obviously very small, but that's with any compact car.

Chevy sonic is a great and reliable car.
Problems: short, so sometimes seeing particular signs can be difficult (but I am also a short person). Performance: love the turbo engine! Reliability: very reliable car as long as you take care of it. I have never had an issue with the engine or transmission and have helped many friends when jumping their own car. Comfort: fairly comfortable for a non-luxury vehicle. There's more room than you think. Features: I do wish there was an in-built navigation system, but other than that, it has everything I want and need.

My love hate relationship with my Chevy sonic.
I like my Chevy sonic, it is just roomy enough for me and has a great trunk. It is quite cheaply made and will indeed dent at any touch. Also have had a lot of issues with it in the past and it never did drive very smoothly. Sometimes the wheel pulls in one direction, or it feels like it is skipping a gear and rubbing my engine.

Remote start is extremely handy and nice
Great on gas, great pick up. Large trunk considering how tiny it is. It's not a big car but, it's great for a commuter or someone on a budget. In general it's a great car for not a lot of money. Has hands free calling and iPhone connection in the glove compartment. Also had two glove compartments for extra storage.

It has 10 airbags so if you get hit it's going to blow up like a big balloon.
It is a small compact car that fits me but is still highly rated in Safety. I love the green metallic color and have yet to find any dislikes. No complaints.

I love the reliability of my vehicle. It is small, fuel efficient, and practical despite the small footprint. It is fairly new so you can get a good used sonic deal on one without much hassle. No real major issues with my 2015 Chevrolet sonic lt sedan.

2015 Chevy sonic, compact and reliable.
About two years ago I had sudden problems with the temperature regulator, and replacing it was expensive. Its performance is good and it's a reliable car. I do wish the passenger seat also had an armrest. Also it would have been nice to have a second car outlet/charger.
