My spark is a cute and reliable car that could be great for first time drivers!
I love my spark! My vehicle is reliable. I have had a handful of problems over the last 2 years of having the car. Everything has to be specially order as well because my car is so small (for example, the battery). I also find that when I run the a/c, my car has trouble going. However, I feel like these are just normal maintenance issues that could be avoided with proper care, like routine oil changes and keeping the fluids full. Other than that, I love the style of my car and it is very comfortable. I especially love how sleek and modern the dashboard looks! The speakers and AUX cord is extremely helpful for long trips and super convenient for playing your own tunes, which is something I always appreciate in a car. Also being a commuter myself, you cannot beat the gas mileage I get! The car drives very well and though it is tiny, it packs a good punch. You would think that because it is so small it would be crowded on the inside, however, it is actually pretty roomy. I am tall myself and I have no issues fitting in it comfortably. The seats in the back go down as well, which makes moving things easy and makes for a lot more room than you would think. I think my car is great for young adults because it is easy to maintain, is great on gas mileage, could be use for daily or commuter use, and most importantly, extremely attractive.
The gas mileage is amazing.
The Chevy spark is great. It does not really have any 'get up and go' but it is fun to drive. Mine is a manual transmission. The car like small but is incredibly roomy on the inside. I have the very basic spark. So I do not have the touch screen rap or the option for Bluetooth. It does come with OnStar but I do not have a subscription. The Chevy spark gets phenomenal gas mileage. I filled up the tank with $22 the days ago and it is still got over 3/4 of a tank of gas. I am a vertically challenged person so this really is a great car. It is big and small at the same time. My husband has no problem with space while driving or riding.
Reliable car with decent gas mileage.
I bought my car new in 2015 (it is a 2014) and have not had any problems with it thus far. It doesn't have the pep off acceleration but it gets going well enough. It is not the most comfortable car to sit in but I like that it seems to set higher off the ground than most cars making it easier to get in and out of. I drive several miles with my job in homecare and it has been very reliable and good on gas getting at least 34 mpg with city and highway mixed. I don't like that my options are limited but it gets me from here to there without worry. No electric door locks or CD player or cruise control.
Everyone should have one
We could fit 2 sparks in one parking space.
I have been told it looks like a skate on 4 wheels that was my favorite comment from someone. Other than the back thing that locks the window breaking 3 times we have had no problems with the car at all. I wish it had power seats as it is a real pain in the rear end when someone drives the car and then I get in it I wish there where some more colors like maroon, dark blue, maybe just 2 inches wider and lastly a ski rack on the top that does not whistle while you drive. Overall love it and we are buying a new one for us and giving ours to our daughter.
Cost effective, but sacrifice space.
Its primary function is to get you from one place to another. It is small. It does not come with the special feature and amenities other vehicles do. The front seats are roomy enough, but the back seats are tiny, with very little leg room. There's not much room in the trunk. It's definitely not for everyone, but the cost effectiveness in regards to gas has made it worth it to me.
Basic transportation? Yes. Cheap to fill with gas? Yes. Lots of room? No. Fancy car? No.
A few problems but overall great little car.
This car is great for city driving. It gets good gas mileage and is easy to park in small spaces. It is surprising ins interior size very roomy and the four doors are great. I did have to get my transmission replaced at about 60k miles but it was covered under my warranty. Some trim between the doors also peeled off within a year of having this vehicle but other than that I love my Chevy.
Cute car. Perfect for cost efficiency.
The only issue I have had with this vehicle is that it is really too small to fit a child's car seat. I love the gas mileage, it drives smooth, and has been really easy to maintain. It feels much bigger inside than it appears on the outside. I can fit significantly more in the hatchback than I ever thought I could. It is a perfect car for driving around town or even further distances.
Chevy spark is a great first car to have for someone just starting out.
I love this car. It is my first car. It is great on gas. For someone just starting and learning how to drive I think it is perfect. The insurance is not to high and it is not overall expensive at all. It is great for just going around town with your friends. Mine holds up to four people and that is plenty in my opinion. Maintenance is not too high either. It also gets great mileage.
The engine is small so don't expect power from the vehicle.
Because my vehicle is small, the engine is small. It sometimes has issues accelerating. It is loud. The battery had to be replaced. However, this past summer, a car rain a red light and hit me, and although my car had a decent amount of repairs, I was completely unscathed. I did not even feel the impact. It performed incredibly well. In addition, it is small so it handles well.
Cute compact automobile!!
It is the perfect first car! It is compact but fits essentials. I used it to commute to and from college now I use it to get to work. The only negative I have to say is that there is a huge blind spot on the driver side window. Due to size, it is nerve wracking to drive on the highway especially during rush hour. It takes a while for the heat and air conditioning to turn on.
Amazing gas mileage a non-hybrid.
it is small and easy to park and drive but still has room for my tall husband to not be too squished. the gas mileage is amazing for a non-hybrid vehicle. I do wish the radio that came standard had an auxiliary jack or bluetooth and the space between the seat and the e-brake is too tight to get a standard car wash vacuum into, but other than that no big complaints.
You do not get floor mats as standard equipment, and the control panel is full of options that are hard to learn.
It is compact and easy to park in crowded suburban situations. The seats are hard as a rock & would be uncomfortable for a long trip. (But a person of average height could use cushions - I can't). It is slow to take off from a standing stop, particularly uphill, due to an unwillingness to shift down, but it is pretty zippy once it gets up to 15 or 20 mph.
The gas mileage is superior, I can fill the tank for under $25.
I like that my vehicle gets great gas mileage, and that it is fairly compact which allows me to park in tight spaces. I do not love that the engine is not too powerful, so it usually takes a moment to get up to speed on the highway. I also do not like that the locks are analog and there is no cd player, but I like that there is an auxiliary jack.
It gets 38 miles to the gallon. It fits 4 people. Limited hatchback.not much for long trips. No pickup.
Its a 2014 Chevy Spark. It's been a problem with that car since I bought it. Had to get a new battery, The first month, I bought it. Then I had to put two new tires. Replace key. New brakes, Then a Computer Transmission Module ....then had to replace the whole A/C system. 2 recalls. It does have 38 mph. To the gallon.
Very roomy. Lots if safety indicator lights. Back seats lower to increase cargo.
I love my Chevy spark because it is economical I feel safe in it even though it is a small car. I have not had any problems with it since I bought it. Parking is a breeze. It is cute and bright. It drives well on the street and the highway. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys driving a small car.
It's uncomfortable as hell if you have to be inside it for more than 15 minutes
I thought the car was pretty nifty at first because it's tiny and you can fit in a lot more spaces, parallel parking is a lot easier. But after owning the car for a while, I'm not the biggest fan. The seats are pretty uncomfortable if you have to drive long distances. At least maintenance is easy to do yourself.
Great city car, great road Carr too!
The most fun car to drive in 46 years of driving. Excellent fuel economy, averaging over 41 mpg for 39,000+ miles of driving. 10 airbags contribute to safety. Comfortable to drive and ride for long distances. Automatic headlights are a great bonus feature. Don't have to worry about turning headlights on or off!
Compact great on gas easy to find parking spots.
It's a very compact car which means that it is great on gas and because of its size it is very easy to find a parking spot. Since I live in Los Angeles this is perfect since parking can be very difficult. I love this car and will keep it for a very long time. If I get another car it will be similar to this one.
The car is very fuel efficient and has a very smooth drive.
I love the the small size of the vehicle because it makes parking into small spaces easy. It has great gas mileage. The only thing I don't like is the car does not have much get up and go like if your trying to speed up from a slower speed it takes awhile for to speed up when you put your foot on the gas
Chevy Spark is perfect for a new driver
The Chevy spark is an affordable starter car. A student is the perfect fit for this vehicle as it does lack some features. It's very basic and has little to no power for getting quick speed. The 2019 model may be much improved but the earlier years seem to have a hard time with cooling in the summer.
You can fit a surprising amount of stuff in the car when you need to move.
The stereo system is a little anemic, and lacks rear speakers. The acceleration isn't too powerful which can make it difficult to come out of a stop when a green light changes or when trying to make a turn. Other than that stuff it's a great car with decent mileage and a tank that's cheap to fill.
Car is good on gas and handles great on highway.
Cute little car. Gets me where I have to go. Good on gas. A little small inside. Comfy driving. Has good pick up. I like the info on dash as to how many miles are left with the amount of gas in the car. Easy to find a parking space. Great on the highway. Good visibility from windows and mirrors.
My Chevy spark which I love and glad that I bought it.
I love my car, easy to park and easy to drive. When I have my seat all the way back, which is the only way I can drive it, there is no room in the back for anyone to sit. I also like that you can put the two seats in the back down, so I can put my walker in the back with no trouble at all.
The Spark is a hybrid car, meaning it can run on both gasoline and electric. The gas mileage is great, though the car struggles when going uphill if you are running the air conditioner.
The car is great! However, after owning it for three years we have had to replace the radiator and thermostat already. We purchased the car new, and hoped to avoid having issues for a few years (compared to about the same amount of time before issues arose with used vehicles in the past).
Great gas mileage, but no get up and go. ,
Wish it had more get up and go. The car does not go fast enough even when on the interstate. I also like the cost of the car it was provided, and the low mileage when it was previously provided. I wish it had more room and it was more family friendly. I do love the gas mileage I get.
Cheap om gas expenses that fill a college student budget.
It is a small car when 5 people get in it can feel tight. Even though it fills my needs I'll be more than happy to have a bigger one. However, it gas expenses are affordable for a college student, you would spend more than $40 a month on gas. The auto parts are also really cheap.
Great small vehicle, and super great gas mileage. A very dependable vehicle.
It is a great economic car, gets around 40 miles to the gallon. It is a great first car. The pickup is so slow, so when you want to pass you have to plan ahead to be able to pass. Usually when weather is raining car does not really have weight so it moves quite a bit on the road.
The gas mileage on this car is fantastic and it is very comfortable to drive around town in.
I love the gas mileage that I get but the car is small and we are outgrowing it. It is getting harder and harder to fit my son's sports equipment in it. Also, it is a standard which is not good for long trips where I may get stuck in traffic. I do love the color of it though.
Small car with good gas mileage. Fits into tight spots easily.
It's a yellow compact car which was really nice when I was single but not that I am expecting a baby it feels a little too small. It gets good gas mileage but has a hard timing reaching higher speeds quickly and the air vents are small. I wish you could connect more apps to it.
2014 Chevrolet spark 4 door.
Does not accelerate fast enough. It has good gas mileage, comfortable, and reliable. It has four doors, cruise control, blue interior, leather seats, and light blue on outside. The only problem it is small and does not have very much room. It is a great car to commute with.
The car is small, comfortable, easy to drive and gets good gas mileage.
It is small and easy to drive.
It is good on gas.
Manual except for power windows.
Great transportation to and from work.
Good air conditioner.
Seats are comfortable but back seat is not.
The back seat is good in an emergency.
You can fit into small parking spaces.
The size. It can either make or break your experience. Some like the small size for storage purposes, and some hate it for it's lacking interior.
It's a nice little vehicle with good gas mileage. The size can be an issue however. 4 seats, but it's slightly cramped. Makes it bad for vacations and road trips ironically despite the good gas mileage. The interior size is really the only issue, everything else is nice.
Things I love and hate about my Chevy spark.
Only features I hate is front wheel drive, and the small 4 cylinder engine size. I love the fact that it runs all around town getting 30 mpg, and it only takes $20 to fill the tank. I hate the fact that if I have to do any climbing of hills it has no power to climb.
Good value for money but extremely small interior. Not a car for big family
I like the gas mileage but I dislike the storage space in the car. I liked the price of the car new. My first BRAND NEW car, but I don't like the fact that before 60,000 Miles I had to replace the transmission and the rear hatch doesn't work anymore. Very basic car
Don't buy this. Walk on by..get something else. I have driven Chevys since 1970 . It's not worth the money .Trust me. Junky!!
Very small and good on gas. Pretty color (grape ice) Much has broken in a few yrs..truck/hatch wont open. Not good on hills. Lousy storage. Only 4 can ride in it and not exceed 661 pounds. That includes totes and all else. Seat belt is frayed 35,000 miles.
The most important thing about this car is how infrequently I have to get gas
I like that my vehicle is compact which makes it easier to fit in tiny parking spaces and easier to drive in heavier traffic. I also like that it's so good on gas. The only things I dislike are that my vehicle does not have cruise control or automatic locks.
Very colorful and bright and small.
Very small, good on gas. Basic model so no automatic locks. Sits 4 people. My transmission did go out within 1-2 years but was covered and replaced. Very inexpensive gas and lasts for a while. Reliable, perfect for a teenage girl who does not like big cars.
It has wonderful gas mileage. I took a trip to Maine and I only had to fill up on gas twice, which is saying something because I live in New Jersey!
Its a cute little car, but it uses its space wisely and you can fit a lot of groceries or luggage in it. It has wonderful gas mileage and will last a long time. I've had no problems with my car at all and when I need a new car, I hope to get another Chevy.
We recommend this car to anyone with a small family or if you travel a lot.
We do not have any current issues, gets great gas mileage. Great stereo and comfortable on short trips. The seats can be a little uncomfortable on long driving trips. The car payments are very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this car to everyone.
Great gas mileage, very dependable, have had zero issues.
I love that I get great gas mileage in my car. It is really small, so I fit into any parking space, it does have 4 door, so for people fit pretty good. Only down part of the car it that it has no trunk, so it makes grocery shopping a little difficult
Chevrolet is a good brand to own. It has been great experience for me.
I have had my car since Nov. 2014.My car was used but everything about it was practically new. It had only 18,000 miles on it when I bought it.This car has been the best car I have ever bought. I really like the features that came with it.
Just because it is small, do NOT think you can bully us.
I love the COLOR (my husband calls it kawasaki vomit green). I like the SHAPE. I like the size. The gas mileage is OKAY--but not outstanding. I like the hatchback. I do NOT like the non metal---I can't use magnetic bumper stickers.
It is too difficult to find replacement parts you have to go to the dealer.
I love the size and gas mileage I get with it. Because it is smaller it makes parallel parking easier especially in a city. What I do not like is little trunk space and how low to the ground it is. The battery life is bad as well.
If you get into a head-on collision, make sure everything is in working order.
I really like the gas mileage i have on my car. Despite the small gas tank, i only have to fill up my tank once a week (driving every week day). I also like the compact size of my car. It makes it easier to maneuver the car.
2014 Chevy spark is awesome.
I love this small little car. It is honestly good on gas! It does take much to fill it up. It runs very smooth. It is comfortable for those who are a bit shorter. It does have a lot of room considering it being a small car.
It has great gas mileage.
I like that it is small and easy to drive. The hatchback is useful for carrying my art supplies. I hate that it does not have power locks or cruise control. It makes long drives and driving with passengers inconvenient.
Great highway gas mileage. Cost of maintenance is low.
My car is perfect for me. I has great gas mileage and I can fill the tank with $20. It is very compact which makes parking a breeze. Also, it looks small from the outside but seems larger when inside. Very cool car.
Very economical and great on gas!
It's been a very reliable vehicle just for to and from work. I don't like the fabric on the seats it always looks stained. I love the gas mileage you get with the vehicle. It's a great car for lots of highway miles.
The Spark is a great car for getting around town and navigating city streets.
My Spark is a smaller car which is great for city driving (and parking.) It hasn't been super great when it comes to needing repairs-- I've had to replace the transmission, tires, and will need new brakes soon.
It is a small car and does have engine issues because it is so small.
I like the small compact size of my car and how spacious it is on the inside. As well as its gas mileage. I dislike how the engine runs and its constant need for engine repairs due to its small motor.
If you are tall or have kids. Do not get this car.
I hate this vehicle. It is way to small. I have two small children. I mean it's a nice car. But it's way too small. I think it's really meant for just a single person. Maybe who just has a small pet.
great on gas mileage and small for parking
I like the fuel economy and the size for parking. It's great for getting around town. The only drawback is the shocks. The car is low to the ground and you feel all the bumps and holes in the road.
The most important thing to know is how good on gas this vehicle is.
I really like my vehicle because it is so small and easy to drive. It is also very good on gas. The only things I dislike about my vehicle are it does not have automatic locks or cruise control
Watch out for recalls of all kinds.
I like that t's roomier than it looks and it gets decent gas mileage but the thing I dislike the most is that in 4 years it had 8 recalls. Also, I think the gas and brake pedals are too small.
Great gas mileage, just a little small.
Gets amazing gas mileage (40.5 mpg currently). It is a great commuter car but is too small for my growing family. Does not handle well in the snow and the cold tends to zap the battery.
It's a nice car for the price. Perfect for delivering pizzas and packages. However I wish it could go faster.
I like the gas mileage, and how efficient the car can be. I wish it had more giddy up and go, and I wish it was a tad bigger. I previously had a Aveo and could get more into the car,
Keep up on oil and tire care.
I love the gas mileage. I love the touch screen and how compact it is. But still has room. Hate that it's hard to find parts for and that it does not have much acceleration power.
It's a defensive car. Easy to react to other's mistakes, but not enough power to be reckless.
I like how maneuverable it is. I'm disappointed with the low power output, especially when climbing an incline. The gas mileage is good but could be better. It's spacious.
It's a great little car for the money.
I like that it's small and cute. I love that it was inexpensive. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a lot of power. I wish it had a little more spunk.
Too small, but great gas mileage and no mechanical problems.
Great car, good on gas, but just too small. No trunk room when seats are up. Not enough legroom in back seats. Car too low to the ground. Difficult to get in and out.
Although it is small, it is configuration allows for transporting large items.
I love the gas mileage of my car. It does not cost me a lot and gets me pretty far. The downside is that it accelerates poorly and almost stalls when hit the gas.
Small and compact. Easy on gasoline
It works it's okay not too powerful with the engine but does the job to take you from point a to point b. It's small and fits anywhere and tight parking spots.
It is a reliable car but it is very small and really meant to be a commuter car.
I do not like how small the vehicle is and that it does not handle snow very well. I do not like the lack of storage or or how fast the tank of gas goes
The Chevrolet Spark gets fantastic gas mileage and is surprisingly roomy for a car that size.
It gets great gas mileage and is fun to drive. It's unique and cute. The interior hasn't held up well to the heat, and has cracked. Overall I love it.
Spark is a great run around car.
The a/c is not as good as a bigger model. The gas mileage is wonderful. You can park it anywhere. The pick up when you step on the gas is not great.
Slow pick-up, need to take that into account when you are in traffic.
Have only had it for 2 months but have not found any significant problems yet, although it does have slow pick-up. Very comfortable and reliable.
It is a good car. Very reliable. The car gets. Great gas mileage. I average around 40 mpg. My only complaint is the power. It doesn't have a lot of get up.
If you commute long distances this car is great on gas however it only has an 8 gallon tank so you will still only get about 300 miles per tank.
It gets great gas miles and holds its value well. I've had no maintenance issues with it.
I love my Chevy spark. I've had it for years and haven't had any issues with it. It gets amazing gas miles. It's the best car I've ever owned
The gas mileage is amazing. I do not pay much for gas.
Great gas mileage. Runs smoothly. Pretty small car and not much space in the trunk. The black round wheels have amazing traction when driving.
That it gets 35ish MPG in mixed driving and well over 40 on the HWY
I like that it is VERY fuel efficient. 35 mpg in mixed driving. It is VERY slow and gets squirrely above 60 mpg. But, I am thankful for it.
2014 Chevrolet Spark Review.
Great gas mileage. Good visibility-large windows and easy to see out. Gets up to speed quickly )on ramp to freeway). Great accident rating
It is eco friendly and comes in cute colors.
It gets great gas mileage and it is eco friendly and it is small and compact and comes in cute colors and is just an overall great car.
Good gas mileage city and highway.
Since the day I bought it new, the car made a terrible noise when turning the wheel. It was never fixed they said it was a design flaw.
Chevy Spark fits my personality!
Very economical on gas and great mileage. Perfect size for my son and I. Built in navigation and can listen to music on my smartphone
Affordable in gas, very reliable, and great for students.
It's very good on gas and can get me anywhere. Only problem is the ac it doesn't want to work . Everything else works fine I love it .
It has the best gas mileage.
I love everything about my care especially the gas mileage. It drives well, easy to maneuver. You can fill up the tank with just $15.
It has very good gas mileage.
There are very bad blind spots on each side of the vehicle. I love the color and how it handles. I love all the storage space also.
My car gets 34-38 miles to the gallon will an 10-10 gallon tank.
I have had a few recall parts but all have been resolved in a timely manner. The window washing fluid system is messed up as well.
2014 Chevrolet Spark ....
It runs good and is good on gas. Has enough back seat space. It does take awhile to get up to speed especially if the ac is on.
Never get in an accident you will not survive or your car will easily be totaled.
Transmission skips, gets thrown out of line easy, not safe for highway driving and smallest tap causes huge dent. Do not buy.
It gets amazing gas mileage and its small size makes it easy to maneuver and park.
I love that it is small and easy to drive. It is also very fuel efficient. However, the transmission is a little cumbersome.
The air conditioner has some problems it doesn't blow out cold air.
The air conditioner doesn't work. Hasn't worked since the day I bought the car but other than that it's a pretty nice car.
I didn't want it. I wanted something that was better for the snow and shopping.
I don't like the 4 cylinder engine, that it doesn't have power locks, a CD player or USB port. I hate it during the winter.
The gas mileage is amazing!!
Has great gas mileage. Little money to fill all the way up. Easy to park. don't like driving in winter with the small car.
My Chevrolet Spark has amazing mileage and it is quite cheap to fill up the tank.
It has good mileage. I dislike the fact that it doesn't have electronic locking. It doesn't have a usb adapter either.
Friendly review of Chevy spark.
I don't have any problems with the vehicle that I am driving and it is quite comfortable. It is amazing on gas mileage.
It's an electric car so you have to plug it in to charge.
I love the fact that I don't have to pay for gas , also it's quite small so that's perfect! Very comfortable interior.
Great Gas mileage. Cool color not your everyday color of cars. I got the basic one I wish it had auto locks and a cd player with gps and bluetooth but other then that GREAT little car.
It may be small but it handles really well and will get you anywhere you need to go. It even drives okay in the snow.
Good and bad of a Chevy Spark
This car has no spare tire. It is very small. It does get excellent gas mileage. I love the hands free phone option.
It has very good gas mileage.
The seats are not comfortable. The air vents are really small and it is getting too small for my family.
It Gets Great Gas Mileage!!
I have had a lot of problems with the engine. But I really love this car. The gas mileage is wonderful.
Roomier than it looks and very reliable
Great gas mileage! Handles surprisingly well in snow. Wish drat went further back I have long legs
Great gas mileage banana bbshd jdjdjdfj jdjdjdjdjdjdjd
I love that my car has great gas mileage. I love the color. I like that it's a Chevy.
It's cute it's purple and it's one of a kind
I like that it's small. I like it it's very economical and I love that it's purple
It's a fun car to drive, comfortable has space in the trunk for at least 10 grocery bags, I hardly have to do oil changes and that is it, no problems at all, best car that I have ever had just LOVE it
FUN and RELIABLE car, comfortable and small so you can park in tight spots
Great gas mileage and comfortable to drive.
Small compact car. Good fuel economy. Comfortable and has good pick-up.
I like how much I spend in gas. It's $12-&15 a week. I dislike that it's really small and people that drive behind me tail me, and that scares me.
Good gas mileage, and small enough to get through small places
Great gas mileage and small tank. It's doesn't cost much to fill up!
Small, great gas mileage, affordable Doesn't go very fast
That is of very good confidence and its model is one of excellent quality
Me gusta su forma, el modelo y color. I do not like seats
