It has been an excellent car.
I like that it is big enough to fit my family. I like that it is big like a truck. It is comfortable. I still have a lot of cargo room.
accountCircle Rosalia S
It fits our family of 5 plus 5 dogs perfectly, we will always have one
Love how much space it has for our kids and pets. Love all the space each child has

Versatile, dependable, fun.
I really love my suburban, it is extremely versatile, whether I am hauling people, going camping or fishing, or taking a scenic drive, there is plenty of room for everyone and all our gear. I have owned many vehicles, but this is by far my favorite, dependable and always ready for the next adventure.

Very smooth ride and plenty of space.
I love my suburban I'drives so smooth, has plenty of space for the kids, when I go grocery shopping I have enough room when the 3rd row is up. I wish the back glass rolled down like my Toyota sequoia instead of raising up, but other than that I love it.

2014 Chevrolet suburban ltz 1500.
My vehicle has had regular 5w-20 full synthetic blend oil changes. At 80,000 miles, power seats, navigation, rear seat DVD, Bluetooth, USB, hands free audio, backup camera, flushed transmission along with filter change and rear differential fluid change, black interior color and engine black engine: 5.3l v8, fuel type: gasoline or flex fuel (e85).

Great family vehicle. Perfect SUV for road trips.
Plenty of seat space for 8 persons comfortably. Middle and rear seats fold up for extra cargo space. With seats in the upright position, there is lots of space in the trunk area for all your gear. Front and middle row seats are heated. Great CD/DVD system for long car rides with bluetooth headphones. . Great gas mileage however does not have the power of a faster get up and go car. Also tends to burn oil at a rate of 1 quart every 1000 miles. Breaks also tend to ware quickly too.
accountCircle Karin D
My car is very well cleaned. No smoking or eating of any sort.
Roomy. Can pull boat. Lots of luggage space. What else do you want.. Space only complaint gas consumption.

Do not by a 2wd. The performance is terrible.
Bought it in Louisiana and transferred jobs to Alaska. It's only a 2wd and is like a sliding brick in the winter. It has zero traction (even with new tires.) I Didn't handle that great in the raIn down south either. It was cheaper than a 4wd, but not worth the money.

Visibility for surrounding traffic is blocked by window structures of vehicle.
I like the sound system and leather seats. I do not like the large size and the extreme height getting into the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

After 140,000 miles Chevrolet suburban still in great running condition.
Overall trim package is nice. It is a great middle ground package price wise and is also a great family car. DVD player is very nice for taking long trips. Pushing 140,000 miles and suburban still runs pretty good. Never had any major mechanical issues. Oil is changed every 3,000 miles.

Suburban, I prefer the Yukon xl over the Chevy suburban.
There is nothing wrong with the suburban. It is big enough to transport many passengers. I do not like the way the back seats fold. I wish they folded into the floor. I do like the fact that it has a normal key and does not shut off when you are stopped.

Average in all ways for me.
Average in all ways. Nothing special about it. Rough ride. We take it camping in the summer and ice fishing into the frozen lakes in the winter also into the forest. It is absurd to expect do many words about an average vehicle. No one should be so bored even people who take surveys.

The one most important thing others should know about this car is that it is big.
The vehicle I drive is okay. Some problems that occur are with the a/c but it might just be with mine. It is nice and spacious and a comfortable drive. Has a lot of space for all the stuff that we carry such as groceries. It is a good car.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Monica G.

The pros of a suburban is that it is very roomy and so much space in the trunk for road trips, groceries, etc. It is a very reliable vehicle, which makes it great for everyday use and long road trips.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Monica G.

The cons of a suburban is that it is very heavy, so it accelerates slowly. Also, it takes a lot of gas due to that. It is so long that is very difficult backing out of tight parking spaces, especially when people park too close to you.
