I love all the features but wish the navigation has upgrade options cheaper. Love the comfort and feel of driving it. I have the nav. Sunroof, DVD, XM, OnStar, leather z71 ltz package and love everything about it. Definitely my favorite car I've ever owned.

It's a hybrid SUV. Wasn't easy to find!
I love that I can carry 7 passengers. I love the size and the gas mileage that I get. Although it does have very little cargo space in the back. It's hard to have anything extra in the car. I have to fold up my back seats just to make room for my groceries.

I love my Tahoe. It is a vehicle I always wanted to have once I had children. It has enough space for both my kids and everything we need when we go on vacation. I would definitely make it more gas efficient. It handles great in all weather and 4WD is to par!

My Tahoe has been a dependable vehicle. However, it is a bit of a gas hog. I know the newer Tahoe are more fuel efficient. I would like to trade mine in on a newer version. I have not had many issues with my Tahoe. I get it serviced regularly and use a high grade gas in it.

The Chevy Tahoe handles well in snow and water. I have 4 wheel drive and use it a lot in the winter to get around.
My airbag light is on. There is a recall but been waiting 2 years for the part. The 1st year I had it the bottom rear passenger door collected water inside door and rusted. The cord for the rear defrost has been glued back on at least 3 times (is now off). I had engine problems. Snow builds up on the bottom of the windshield making it difficult to see out. The Chevrolet emblem fell off. In the third row seating one of the seats will not come up making my car a 6 passenger instead of 8. My check engine light is on because the fuel pump is leaking fumes, which I had replaced twice. Other than that it has over 16,000 miles and still running so I gotta give it that!

I do like my Tahoe because it is roomy for my kids, and it has a DVD player for them. Love the backup camera as well. Also love how the ac vents in the back are up top. But because we travel a lot it does take up a lot of gas. This is only reason why I am considering getting a different car be a of how much gas it use.

Loaded Chevrolet Tahoe- leather!
Paint bubbling and rust along the wheel wells and handles The suspension brainbox doesn't work for the self leveling. The rear defrost cable came unhooked. The back up camera stopped working. It is amazingly comfortable and drives well, we love taking it on family trips! The ride is outstanding!

A great family vehicle to use.
I haven't had any problems with my vehicle. It gets good gas mileage and is always reliable. It has plenty of space for everything I need mostly my children as I needed nine seats. The trunk could be bigger in order to accommodate more luggage on trips. However it has a top rack and a hitch so their are other options in storage of things.

The adjustable pedals really impress me.
I don't have any ACTUAL problems with it. I wish it had AC seats and Bluetooth radio. It's very comfortable and rides smooth and quietly. Mine didn't have the backup camera but I never use it anyway. I love that the pedals adjust so you don't have to sit so close to the wheel.

Major fire hazard and high maintenance
The most experience I've had driving this truck for almost 12 years is that sensors go out a lot. Wiring in these trucks can cause a fire, and nobody takes responsibility. My Tahoe has had major electrical issues for months now and no recalls issued or reply from corporate.

It's a very reliable vehicle. I did my research and ask other tahoe owners and one stated that theirs was a 2001 model with over 300k miles and it still ran like new because they kept the oil changed and kept the maintenance up on it.
I drive a chevy tahoe. I bought it used with 110000 miles on it. I keep the oil changed every 3000 miles and so far everything runs smooth. It's not an extended SUV so the third row is super tight and don't allow for much comfort for anyone that is too tall. It has bucket seats which i thought i would like better than a bench but i don't.

The Tahoe hybrid is everything my family of 5 needs for convenience, comfort and style. The hybrid saves a tremendous amount of money every week, with the gas mileage we receive. The leather, sunroof, DVD player and space is all I have ever wanted. We usually trade our cars in every 3-5 years and I do not want to let this gem go. We have about 120k miles on it now and it runs like the first day we got it.

Crazy good sound system that comes stock.
After 100, 000 I had to get the motor replaced. Also eventually the electronics go out had to get that replaced. I cannot remember a time when the cruise control worked. Other than that I have had the car for 10 years still looks great and the 5. 3 vortex sounds good.

Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned
My Chevy Tahoe is the perfect size for our lifestyle and I will be buying a new one. For one child, a large dog, luggage, beach/pool gear, long and short trips, etc., this vehicle fits our needs in every instance. Fuel efficiency is reasonable, service and maintenance is easy and can be done by any shop, and has held up to wear and tear better than any other vehicle I have owned. My 2008 model is obviously missing most of the newer tech bells and whistles and has high miles on it, so we will be in the market to replace it in the next 12 months or so. I am not considering any other vehicle, and will drive a Tahoe for as long as they are around.

Chevy Tahoe: great SUV for long or short trips.
It is reliable, though I have had a few issues with the tires. The removable 3rd row is very handy and most times I just take the seats out for extra storage. The SUV has leather heated seats which is a great bonus and I love the sunroof. I was initially worried about gas mileage but it is really not that bad.

We have a slight lift on ours but it still rises like a stick Tahoe. The only other vehicle I would buy would be a newer Tahoe. Honestly love this vehicle.

Pre owned 2008 Chevy Tahoe
Since the car was bought pre owned on Craigslist, I can't say much about buying the car from a dealership. The Tahoe is very easy to drive, even for a new driver like myself. I feel like it is a safe car to drive since it is a big car and made of, what seems to me, a very sturdy material. It holds up well in the heat of Arizona's summer. The only problem it really faces is a need for a lot of coolant.

2008 Chevy Tahoe LT 4WD Review
I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT 4WD and I absolutely love it. We have a growing family so the extra space is perfect. There is the third row seating in the back. We have the bucket seats in the middle instead of the three seats, so there's space to walk in the middle. It is actually a very comfortable vehicle. The driver and passenger seats can be heated, there are two charger ports in the front, one in the middle with the bucket seats, and one in the very back with the third row seating. You can control the heating and cooling settings in the front and there is also one in the middle where the bucket seats are for the back. It does have flex fuel, so it does do good with gas on the highway. It does take a lot of gas to fill it up. I have no complaints about our Tahoe, we plan on getting another one in a few months. Definitely recommend it!!

Smoothest car you can drive.
My Tahoe has been the smoothest car I have ever driven. It is comfortable riding on long trips and it drives with easy control. Steering is very smooth with a great turn radius. There is room to fit seven people when needed and also very easy access to folding the seats to make a large trunk. I haven't had any issues mechanically but electrically I have. The tire air pressure sensors become dysfunctional for some reason and signal to check air pressure.

I love my Tahoe, I take good care of it and do the preventative maintenance on it as needed. Also keep it clean. I have never had any major problems with it and since it has four wheel drive I have never had any problems getting anywhere, towing or pulling anything. After all these years there is only a little bit of rust on it. I love this truck.

I had to have the engine rebuilt less than 6 months after purchasing. It has electrical problems. I like the size not too big not too small. I do not like not having bucket seats. I do not like the cloth interior. I like the trunk space and being able to remove the third row.

I do not like my 08 Tahoe!
Constantly having problems with the brakes. The leather seats and armrest are splitting. My dash is so cracked I have stuffed napkins in places to keep it from rattling around. Half the time the door locks don't work and had to replace window motor. Not mention the airbag recall.

The pulling power of Tahoe.
Tahoe is spacious inside and is very comfortable. The only downside is that it is not as powerful as our RAM 2500. We live in the south where and a little far from the town so most of our vehicles would serve as utility vehicles as you will have to haul here and there. We normally use Tahoe to go to work, getting groceries and not very long trips. Since it is a little old the power has depreciated a lot.

With small kids the backup camera was a top selling point for me.
I have not had any problems with this vehicle currently. The performance is great. It's our most reliable car. The seats are great as they can be moved to fit your comfort level. I love the fact it has a backup camera and a DVD player for the kids. I like the button on the back that floods the seats up for you, just wish the seats would lay flat so you could haul larger things in the back of the SUV. I love the fact that the dash does tell you what tire is low on pressure and It's easy to change the information showed.

A lot of space but a lot of problems!
I love the space it provides but have had a lot of problems with it. The door handles easily break. The hydraulic rear gate is broke. The air ride suspension is not working and it seas and I feel like it is unsafe. I have taken it to the dealer multiple times and they haven't been able to fix it.

I have gotten them fixed, thank goodness but my tires were out of alignment so my car shook until I drove over 70mph, my tires were horrible and I had a blow out with my 3 yr. Old! Not only were they out of alignment but everything underneath had to be replaced! It costs well over $2, 000!

My vehicle is amazing. It seats eight people, the seats fold, I love the interior. It is very durable. It rides very smooth., As long as you keep up the maintenance, you should have no problems out of my vehicle. The dashboards and console are not as sturdy as I would like for them to be. A heavy item will crack it pretty quickly.

The Chevy Tahoe is the safest vehicle I've ever driven, it's been in a major accident and no one in our car was injured and we even drove away!
It's a large and very safe vehicle to drive while still being incredibly comfortable.

Tahoe is a great vehicle to have.
I really love my Tahoe. We have not had any problems with it at all. The only problem with it is the automatic locks go out. So they are not reliable and will open with alarm on. If I were to buy another vehicle I will purchase another Tahoe. Maybe just a little bigger.

I have a black Tahoe that we bought as a "baby tank." It had removable third row seating. The back seat had its own temperature control.
Overall, I love my Tahoe. It is spacious and comfortable and rides smooth. However, the paint is coming off the hood and water collects in one of the doors.

Great family car for a value price.
For a ten year old car it performs great. It has almost 200k miles on it and runs like a top. The fuel mileage isn't the best but that is to be expected from a big v8. It has plenty of room inside and the third row seats come completely out leaving a large trunk.

Dash has cracked, Cruise control and tire inflation detector has gone out.requiring a lot of maintenance now.

The 2008 Chevy Tahoe, enjoy the ride while it lasts
Comfortable with tons of space, luxurious smooth vehicle. Great sound system. A car that can be used in all conditions due to its great features like 4 wheel drive. Special heated interior. Lacks: blind spot vision. Since it's a bigger vehicle it has a few blind spots.

Overall Great SUV for families
Great vehicle overall. Drives nice with good handling. The exterior is very sharp looking, but not overly bulky. The interior is spacious with great extras, reclining seats, front and back. Removable 3rd seats are a plus too. Drawbacks would be- mediocre gas mileage, little parts will need replacing overtime.

2008 silver Chevy Tahoe Ltz. Grey interior. Has DVD player
Very happy with our Chevy Tahoe. It runs great. We bought it used with around 60,000 miles on it and has given us little trouble. Had to replace wheels, back shocks and typical wear and tear such as brakes and tires. I only wish I had a little bit more storage room in the back while traveling with 4 kids. Otherwise we love Our Tahoe.
