2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Owner Reviews & Problems
Reviews For Chevrolet TrailBlazer
Very good quality that is long lasting.
My trailblazer was bought used from a friend, who'd used it for a long time before me. It is still in excellent condition, even with all of the miles on it. You wouldn't think that it is an older car when driving it, because it is a very smooth ride. I love it because it is very reliable and good for gas. It does not need very much maintenance at all. The seats are grey leather, so it makes it really simple to clean up any messes, and they also feature seat warmers, which is really nice when it is colder outside! It is a four-door model that can seat up to five different people. The trunk is a nice size that allows me to transport a lot of stuff at once. Overall I am very happy with my car and I am not looking to get a new one for a very long time.
Perfect size and comfortable, reliable vehicle.
This is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned! The size is perfect, with the extended third row seating. The only major problems I have had with it are cosmetic issues mainly. The visor on the passenger side is currently not on because it keeps falling off despite my husband’s best efforts to reattach it. On the driver’s seat the plastic panel on the side keeps falling off. The middle console piece that is supposed to click and hold it shut has been replaced but it broke again and I haven't fixed it. Overall I love this car and truly wish that they still made them. This car is currently at 223,000 miles and going strong!
One major detail of the trailblazer is the back trunk storage area.
Over the years of owning the Chevy trailblazer it is and has been a reliable automobile. It is a full powered SUV. No OnStar but reliable, it also has a garage opener which we never used, a small recording/ memo device that my wife and I both enjoyed. Over the years its regular wear and tear will happen but nothing beyond repair. It took us on many adventures before and during our children's lives. It did very well on mileage going from PA to RI many of times. Its back storage area had let us movie many of large and acquired shaped items around as well. I definitely recommend this vehicle for anyone.
Trailblazer has been dependable, and is easy to operate!
I have been impressed with the trailblazer. I really love the leather interior, steering wheel control buttons for radio and temperature/fan control. Having children and pets the leather is easy to clean, and has not ripped/torn yet. It has been very reliable with 200, 000+ miles (transmission has been replaced). The only downfall is storage in the front, have to set everything on the passenger seat, and with the leather it slides a lot. Plenty of storage in the rear, with the fold down seats.
She's definitely a tough vehicle.
I love my vehicle. We have towed 3, 500 pounds on a trailer with it and it hauled it all with no problem. It rides smooth. I haven't had any issues with it besides for wear and tear from old age (transmission, relays, fuses popping). The only thing that I really don't like about my vehicle is the brake light housing keeps going out in it. We have changed it out so many times, but other than that, my vehicle has been great and still running strong with 233, 000+ miles on her.
Seats folding down to make great space.
Heated leather seats with third row. Moonroof. Equipped with cruise control all 4 wheel drive has almost 190 thousand miles still runs good. Color red exterior black leather interior. CD player and radio work and gets about 15 miles a gallon. Has had brakes replaced. Alternator replaced. New tired had new radiator and runs smoothly. Kept up with oil changes and great for moving stuff around as the seats fold up great for lots of space. Recommend this car to anybody.
It has never let me down. Reliable and dependable.
This SUV was through stringent times prior to our purchase. We've only had one major problem with it in two years, so considering how it was driven before, that is pretty amazing. It has 186, 000 miles on it and great turning radius. Does not have the pick up and go that I like, however, after repair of the transmission system, it is moving better than before. It is fairly comfortable, on a truck frame, has great roomy interior and I would rate it a 3 for comfort.
I do not know what to put on here bi said it all in the last box.
I like an SUV. The trailblazer has adequate room for 5 people and room for groceries, camping gear etc.. In the back. I like the dual climate control and charge ports in the front and back. It has automatic windows. I like remote entry and the seats are comfortable. Also the back seats fold down to make more storage room when needed. There is one thing I do not like. The doors are stiff. Nothing works to loosen them up. Hard for the kids to open and close.
The ability to last longer than any previous vehicles I have had.
I have had the same vehicle since 2011 and everything about it still works amazingly! The interior is very aesthetically appealing and the leather seats are a blessing when it comes to cleaning the seats. I have been able to fix any issues with the age of the car by myself with a little help from the internet. The car is very user friendly and I would recommend it to anyone! Not only is there plenty of space, there’s also a comfortable presence.
There is a wonderful amount of space for both persons and cargo.
I love my trailblazer. The third row seating is great when all three of my children are riding. We put that down when on trips just my fiancé and I and the amount of cargo space is awesome! For the size of the vehicle, our trailblazer gets really good gas mileage on the interstate and does well in city driving. We recently hit the 200, 000 mile mark and had to replace the transmission, but that has been the only major problem.
