The ride is very comfortable and the car rides very smooth.
Only real issue is service airbag light. Car is reliable and rides very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Durable for rural areas and country roads!
I have had my vehicle for 3 years now. I live in a rural area with many dirt roads. The suspension has held up with all the bumps and roughness of the roads. I like the fact that I can lay down all the seats and load up my car as if it were a truck bed. I also like the fact that I can tow up to 7000 lbs. My kids like the fact that they can plug in their headphones and loosen to something completely different than what I am listening to. We all enjoy the seat warmers!

Spacious and roomy. Great for a big family.
The reliability is pretty good. There is a lot of space. It can seat 7 or 8 if needed. We also use it to get rid of stuff at our local dump. It is very comfortable and has plenty of space to maneuver. It is also good for big grocery trips as I do my shopping for an entire month at a time.

Nice, spacious, good family car.
The car drives really well. Not a bumpy ride it drive smooth and a great family car. The car has a lot of room and space for the kids to move around. Easy to clean. The seats lay down. The truck is big so it can fix a lot of groceries in it. It is good with gas.

This SUV is great for families.
This car is great for families. I did not want to drive a van, and this was a great alternative if you have 3 or more children. It seats 8 people. The model we have has an entertainment system so you can pop in a DVD for longer road trips. It has a great Bose sound system and comes satellite radio ready (subscription required). It also has the OnStar package available with a subscription. It is reliable. We've got over 100,000 miles on it, and have had no major repairs on it to date. As long as you take the car in for routine maintenance, this SUV will take you places. It has a good towing capacity as well. We have hauled a flatbed trailer with a dune buggy on in without any issues.

2010 Chevy traverse pros and cons.
Pros: the ride is very comfortable and smooth. A nice car to ride in for long distances. Solidly built--held up very well when we were hit by another car on the highway. Third row seat is fairly spacious. Lots of room in the hatch. Cons: interior materials look a bit cheap. City gas mileage is poor. Several expensive repairs have been needed even though it has less than 80k miles.

Great features about the traverse.
The traverse is a great car that is very comfortable to drive and ride in. We love that it has a great safety rating and it makes it a great family car. It has a stowaway 3rd row seating that is super great for carpooling. Another feature that we love is the camera in the back to help with reverse parking.

This vehicle is very reliable, just keep oils changed and have tune ups done. Never had any mechanical problems with this SUV.

Hold 8 people comfortably.
I have a Chevrolet traverse made in 2010. I really like it and enjoy it. When I was searching for a car to purchase a few years ago I wanted something that was roomy and would hold many people comfortably. When I came across my traverse I not only got something big enough to haul a team of kiddos to a game, my family around town or a group of women on a ladies only trip but it was also budget friendly and has proven to be a great vehicle. In all the years I have had it I have only had to fix the air conditioner once and change out the tires. It is great!

Does have plenty of room to fit at least a family of eight.
Have had a lot of problems with the electrical and trunk it also seems to ride rough every so often even if chairs are good and up-to-date on everything.

A great American family car. Solid and dependable with a good safety record.
I like the way it handles and gives a smooth ride. It has good visibility and plenty of cargo room. I just had to replace two support rods on the back wheels which was rather expensive and was told it is common to this vehicle. Overall I like the vehicle very much.

Very reliable vehicle! Definitely recommend!
I really enjoy my Chevy traverse! I love the fact that it is has 3 row seating and that the third row lays down to make for more trunk room. My husband and I are expecting our second child and are happy to have a vehicle with this much space. We currently making payments on this car and have had it for about a year now. We've only had to take it to the shop twice due to regular maintenance. This car has been very reliable during all seasons of the year thus far.

Great family car. The three row seating allows for comfy road trips!
The car is reliable and very sturdy. You will get the most out of this SUV especially if you have children. The three row seating and comfortable space makes any trip enjoyable. The car is well made and durable. The only problem is the transmission is going out after 5 years of payments.

Traverse has space, but 2010 has issues.
I love the power of a Chevy engine. I love how the traverse has lots of room for passengers and luggage. Only problem is that this year had many issues. Most of which didn't show up until the warranty expired. The electrical can be a problem and the shocks are causing a problem with only 55,000 miles. Also, the power steering already needed fluid at 55,000 miles.

Decent family vehicle, good value.
Great vehicle overall, easy to drive and good size, good gas mileage, good storage even with the third row up which is hard to come by. I have a full middle row instead of captains chairs, and that is my one regret because the backseat is not as easy to get to as it could be and I can't have two car seats without moving one to get back there. The third row is not roomy or comfortable at all. After riding in other comparable vehicles, I'm not likely to purchase again as I feel there are better options out there.

This is a great family SUV.
This is a great car for those who have more than two children. It seats 8 people. This means on road trips each of our 3 kids could potentially take a friend with them. I like the remote start feature. This is nice on chilly mornings to warm up the car, or on hot summer days to cool it down. We bought it used when it was 3 years old. It has not had any major repairs since purchasing it. The only thing that I do not like is sometimes the car will sound a little rough when it remote starts. I also like the entertainment package that our model has. We are able to pop in a DVD and the kids can watch movies on long road trips. It also has OnStar capability and Sirius XM satellite radio capability. We do not use on-star, but do subscribe to the satellite radio. It has an excellent Bose speaker system.

It's the best vehicle that Chevy makes.
It is really awesome..It can be better but front wheels drive. It would have been better with the suspension and the coils. Iy drives excellent and the brakes system is great. But it does not have the full performance it should.I like it a lotus plant of attachments you can add to it..And the speaker system is awe.

Great for traveling, flat back.
The seats are very comfy. I like all the different types of heating and cooling that are present, in particular really good a/c vents in the back for my dog. Also it was one of few big car models where when the seats are down the floor is absolutely flat. It has never failed to perform well, and when something maybe wrong it is easy to detect. It has been very reliable.

It's great but has an alright gas mileage. It's great for road trips and perfect for soccer practice and the inside is really comfortable and connects to your phone to play tunes you and the kids can enjoy. Foldable back seats and middle seats.
Just bored with it. Want to get a truck. It's an okay car/SUV but not what we want. No sunroof and carpet is ugly grey. Interior is also grey. There is a few small storage spots but nothing fancy. Engine is okay but would not suggest changing your own oil as it is a hard thing to get at.

Comfortable and sleek looking.
I really like my vehicle. It is just the right height. I do not think it is to low to the ground or to high that I have to crawl into it. The seats are very comfortable and the back seats they all lay down flat so you can haul about anything you need to. As far as the drive performance. It is a wonderful and comfortable vehicle to ride in. It will go about anywhere you want to go. The only complaint I have about this vehicle is that the frame of the door is wider than I would like for it to be. Sometimes it has a blind spot there but I have gotten use to it and I have learned to work around it. So with this being said I would buy another Chevy traverse in a heartbeat.

Love it for the space - perhaps a new one would be more reliable.
We have had issues with the transmission - needed to get it replaced at a cost that was more than half of what we purchased it for. Recently needed the air conditioning repaired, a hose blew off, and the mechanic told me it is fairly common in the traverse. It cost me a thousand dollars to repair.

It handles really well. The A.C. Has been acting up lately though, which is not good considering I live in Arizona where it gets to over 100 degrees outside. It's pushing 200,000 miles but still works really well for that kind of mileage.

Timing Chains fail 70k to 100k miles
I have a 2010 Traverse and will never buy another GM after this experience. Two transmission cooler lines, various bushings, motor mounts, timing chain, water pump, wind shield washer pump, and the list goes on. I purchased the vehicle brand new and was meticulous maintaining it. It was expensive for a young family since we purchased the fully loaded LTZ and planned on having it for many years. It's 10 years old and has just over 100,000 miles on it. Don't buy any variant of this including GMC, Buick, or Cadillac. Very disappointing for a US car manufacturer. They don't stand behind their products because there's a known issue with the timing chains that they don't warranty.

We bought our traverse as a brand new vehicle in 2010. It has been on at least one family vacation every year since then. We have put the third row of seats down for most of the time we have had the traverse. It has a large amount of cargo space in the back. We have not made many repairs to the vehicle. The paint still looks very nice. It definitely does not look 10 years old.

2010 Chevy traverse: the pros and cons.
The car has plenty of storage and room for passengers. It is a great sized vehicle that is versatile for all uses. My specific trim has lots of nice extras such as towing, navigation and DVD player. The car could get better gas mileage though, only getting about 17.5 mpg.

It is great for trying to drive through the snow in the winter. Because of the AWD it can really plow through the snow and ice. The negative things are that the gas mileage is not good at all. Overall the car is great if you need a all around SUV that can do a little bit of everything. Great cargo space and decent gas mileage based on other competitors in the price range. I have had some small maintenance issues such as timing belt replacement and small transmission problems, but we've had Chevy products for years and this is the first time we have ever ran into these issues so I do not felt the company most times. Will not recommend this model of vehicle.
I love the 3-row option in the vehicle, so that I can take my entire family plus dogs. I like that the 3-row folds down so that I can cart large or lots of items, for taking stuff for kids after school or traveling with family. The engine has had several issues and has costs lots of money. The transmission was replaced. Now the engine light will not go off, nor with the air light. Nothing wrong with tires. Husband and brother will have to remove most of the items under the hood in order to fix the engine light. The mechanics got it to go off for 3k miles, but it came back on. So this time, family will attempt. Once fixed, will attempt to trade in for another American made car.

I have owned this car for a few months and I really like it so far. It was purchased from a local dealer and had only one previous owner who took care of it and had it maintenanced regularly. The car drives smoothly and has a decent amount of power. I have a 30 minute commute every day to and from work so I was concerned about the gas mileage on a larger vehicle but so far it seems to get decent mileage. There is a third row seat that will come in handy when we need it but for right now it's folded down which gives much more cargo space than my other vehicle. Overall I am very happy with the traverse and have not had any issues. Good family car for sure. It is AWD but I have not had the opportunity to drive it in snow or ice yet.

My Traverse gets great gas mileage.
I have owned my 2010 Chevrolet Traverse for two years. I have had a few minor problems with my Traverse; the most expensive was having to replace the ac unit. On occasion my radio does not want to shut off; this is after I have turned my vehicle off, pulled my key out and opened the driver door. All in all the Traverse has been a reliable vehicle for myself and family. One of the many features that is nice having is having third row seating, this is wonderful especially when traveling and the occasional need for extra seating. There is a DVD player in the back, kids definitely love this feature. Overall, I am happy with my Traverse.

Why the traverse is the right choice for you next vehicle purchase.
The overall performance and reliability of this vehicle is above satisfactory. The exterior has a sporty look. The interior is very comfortable. Captains seats make access to the third row easy for large families. The third row also easily folds down for excess storage space. Double sunroof allows lots of light into the vehicle. And TVs behind the headrest of the driver and passenger seat allow entertainment for children on long car rides. I would purchase another traverse in the future.

I love the vehicle just a lot of problems.
We love the vehicle but there just a bunch a problems and recalls that haven't been called yet. I have had problems from replacing the whole power steering 2 times and ac has gone out over 5 times and have had to replace it. There just a bunch of little issues if these issues were fixed this would be an amazing vehicle.

Traverse —-great dependable SUV.
Dependable SUV. Rarely any problems. Comfortable, versatile and dependable. No problems. I would purchase this SUV again, excellent miles per gallon. I love my SUV. Very few problems. Love the third row seat. Comfortable. Kid friendly. Driver friendly. Pet friendly.

Great vehicle, would recommend to all my friends and family.
I have no real complaints, we have 4 children so 6 of us all together, there is a built In dVD system so that is nice for long car rides, we have not had really any major problems with it, I plan on keeping it until I Does not run anymore and then getting another one, for the room it gets good gas mileage.

Very reliable vehicle for the money
I have a 2010 traverse with 74,000 miles on and so far the only big problems I have had is fixing the ac twice and just had to put new struts and control arms. I feel for such low miles those shouldn't have needed done.

I think it is very reliable.
I like lots of things about my car, I love the color (red). I am happy that it seats seven people, although I seldom carry that many. When the rear seat back is down there is plenty of cargo space for most of the things that I carry. I also like being up fairly high so that I can see over other cars.

Our family of 5 fits comfortably in our traverse. We love it!
We love our traverse. Just keep up in your oil changes and maintenance and you will have no problems. I will stick with a traverse. We have a family of five and travel a lot and fits us great. Very comfortable to ride in. We are a Chevy family. We live having all wheel drive all the time. We live in a snowy state.

A comfortable car you can drive everywhere with everyone
My car is a Chevy traverse from 2010, I bought It from 3000, it has many dents because it was my sister's. I think it's a good car if your looking for safety, it's big and it's from a good material, so it's pretty tough in case of a crash, has a lot of space and the sites are comfortable. Since it's a 2010 vehicle, its features are not very fancy, but overall is a good car, feels good to drive.

The roomy seating and exhaust issues.
I love my traverse. Its spacious. It has enough room to comfortably sit my 3 sons apart. So if you have children that like to argue, you know the importance of having extra room. I've routinely had issues with my exhaust system, but besides that I love it.

Overall amazing car, beginning drivers, learning to parallel park support feature.
Performance wise it has endurance on gas and running motors. Reliability is 8 of 10 really good car. Comfort is a nice cozy car for beginning drivers. A lot of cool little features for example the automatic closing trunk, video camera in the mirror when your backing up, OnStar support that comes with the car.

Overall a great car for room.
It is pretty reliable both in the summer and winter, we've never had any big problems with our vehicle in the time that we've owned it. Overall great if you have to transport people and need a little more room or if you have to transport a lot of people. It also has a lot of cargo space so groceries can comfortably fit.

I love the color and leather interior.
It has great air conditioner, power windows, power seats, it is a care you can take a family trip in. It gets good gas mileage, it has a DVD player in it, it is comfortable to drive and ride in. Tires and maintenance is pretty high but worth it for a good car if I had to do all over I would buy it again.

I love my Chevrolet traverse and when deathly recommended this vehicle.
I have had my traverse for going on 7 years now and never had any problems until recently. It has been a very dependable and spacious vehicle. It has three row seating and the third row can be put down so you have more cargo room if you would like. It can hold up to 8 passengers very easily and comfortably. It also has a spacious cargo area. It has backup camera in the rear view mirror. Plus if you get too close to anything while you are backing up it beeps to let you know. If we get a new vehicle it would definitely be a newer traverse. We have never had no problems with the safety features. I feel very comfortable transporting my children. To me is sporty looking and does not like your average family sedan.

It handles really nice and is great to drive. It feels like a smooth car
I like how high it sits up. I also like the power and handling of the vehicle. It's silver, which I also like and it really does handle like a nice car.

I will rebuy another traverse I love it.
I love the space, I have 4 kids so there’s still room for one more kid to come with places. I love that it has a built in DVD player and that it has all wheel drive. I have had it for almost 10 yrs and really do not have any complaints. Once this one dies I will re buy another traverse.

Comfort is very important.
I love our traverse. It does have a problem holding ac coolant. I love the heated seats and extra features. It is a very comfortable ride. Gas mileage is good even with the age of the car. Third row seating is easy to lift and drop. It does add to the comfort when traveling.
