    Great car for large family

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

I have owned this car for a few months and I really like it so far. It was purchased from a local dealer and had only one previous owner who took care of it and had it maintenanced regularly. The car drives smoothly and has a decent amount of power. I have a 30 minute commute every day to and from work so I was concerned about the gas mileage on a larger vehicle but so far it seems to get decent mileage. There is a third row seat that will come in handy when we need it but for right now it's folded down which gives much more cargo space than my other vehicle. Overall I am very happy with the traverse and have not had any issues. Good family car for sure. It is AWD but I have not had the opportunity to drive it in snow or ice yet.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse Review

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

This vehicle has done me very well over the years that I have been driving it. I haven't had any major issues with the vehicle and it has always treated me well in the snowy New England weather. With all cars basic maintenance is needed and things need to be replaced along the way but all in all this car has never given me a surprise issue that I didn't know was going to eventually come. The seats are comfortable, the ride is smooth, and the speakers sound great. I am very pleased with how this car has turned out and would consider purchasing another vehicle from Chevrolet again in the future.

Lots of space - room for the family.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Currently I've paid more in repairs than I've paid on the vehicle. We have had to have the water pump replaced, timing chains replaced, struts replaced (so new tired and an alignment). It only has 140k miles. I love the way it drives, it's easy to put down the throes row seat. I can easily fit 3 rear facing car seats into the second row. It does have a larger turning radius. Seats are comfy and my husband has plenty of legroom in the front seats (he's 6' tall).

2010 Chevy traverse pros and cons.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

This car drives pretty smooth. It only has 100,000 miles on it though and 2e are already starting to have problems. It wobbles when you go a certain speed. My husband thinks a bearing is loose on the back. The front shocks are bad and need replaced, and the battery is needing replaced also. My main complaint with the comfort of the vehicle is that the front headrests lean too far forward and make it an awkward angle for anyone who does not lean back pretty far.

Great get up and go, but very little storage space.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Pros: it is great in the snow and will get up and go in snow and ice. Seats fold down easily so you can carry larger loads. Cons:There is almost no trunk space even with the little pull up storage area in the truck. It claims to be able to fit 8 people comfortably, but our family of 6 is rather cramped when just we are in it. I would not want to try to fit any more people for more than a few miles at a time. Gas mileage is around 18 miles to the gallon.

My opinion of my 2010 Chevy traverse.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

I love my 2010 Chevy traverse. I have had minor problems from age such as tire pressure gauge and an air condition hose but other than that it's made a great SUV. I have three children so the extra room is a plus. We just went on vacation a little over a month ago and everything went great for a six hour drive. I do wish that my traverse got better gas mileage because gas can get pricey sometimes but not a complaint at all because I love my traverse.

    The Ride Of A Mom of 4, who's 4'10

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

As a mother of four, I love the space in my traverse. I'm also short so the dash could be lower. I enjoy the convenience of my children being able to control the temperature in the back of the car themselves. This allows me the ability to focus on the road. I appreciate the ability of both back rows to completely fold down. It made fitting our fresh Christmas tree into to car this past holiday a breeze. I'd appreciate if it we're better in gas.

Basic car with two wheel drive problems.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

My traverse is a 2 wheel drive, and I live on gravel roads so anytime the roads are a little wet and sloppy I have a hard time making it up the hills and have gotten my car stuck several times. It is the basic model, I have Bluetooth but not all of the 'fun' features newer models have. It gets the job done for what I need it for but will definitely look for a all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle for next time.

a comfortable car you can drive everywhere with everyone

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

my car is a Chevy traverse from 2010, I bought It from 3000, it has many dents because it was my sister's. I think it's a good car if your looking for safety, it's big and it's from a good material, so it's pretty tough in case of a crash, has a lot of space and the sites are comfortable. since it's a 2010 vehicle, its features are not very fancy, but overall is a good car, feels good to drive.

The third row seating is a life saver for our family

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

We bought our car at a auction, it only had a few minor problems when we bought it, a sensor went out, and had a small oil leak, both were easy fixes. Other than that, the Traverse is a very spacious SUV with plenty of room for the whole family. The mpg is very reasonable for a SUV and the power from the engine is nice for going off road if you are into that.

3rd row seating is great! Such a spacious vehicle

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

I absolutely love my traverse! I have had 3 of these vehicles over the years. It is so spacious and comfortable and the 3rd seating allows us to haul friends around too. I wish our particular model had the bucket seats in the middle row instead of the bench seat. With having 2 car seats installed in the middle row it makes it difficult to access the 3rd row.

    - Jennifer T

roomy, and comfortable. Gas mileage isn't too bad for a larger vehicle.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

It has an issue with a sensor which sometimes makes my engine rev up. It only happens every once in a while but enough to be annoying. Overall it has been a great car, with no major issues. I have hit a deer twice, and it barely did any damage. I love how solid it is, it also has a nice DVD player, surround sound, and a moonroof and sunroof in it .

    2010 Chevy traverse...Love!

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Reliable, survived through the polar vortex! Meaning it started up just fine even though it was negative degrees outside. I love the room inside, 3rd row seating, option to put down the third row for storage space, the ease of use of all controls, easily accessible seat buttons, dash buttons. Tells me how much oil life I have left. Love it!

    - Amanda G

    Roomy, comfy, and reliable

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

My Traverse has been wonderful. It is a very reliable and comfortable vehicle. Even with a moderate commute, my gas mileage and cost is manageable. There is ample room both for passengers and storage. Aside from some awkward design elements that make maintenance and repairs occasionally difficult, it has been a good vehicle.

    - Haleigh J

The DVD player is the greatest asset.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

The comfort of sitting is amazing. It is great on gas and I love the DVD players. It does a great job off road and in water. It is a very reliable car. My kids love the leg room. The power windows are a great feature. I would highly recommend this vehicle for a family car. There is so much love trunk space.

    - Debbie P

Foldable back seats and middle seats.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Just bored with it. Want to get a truck. It's an okay car/SUV but not what we want. No sunroof and carpet is ugly grey. Interior is also grey. There is a few small storage spots but nothing fancy. Engine is okay but would not suggest changing your own oil as it is a hard thing to get at.

    - Jennifer C

    The Mom-mobile, stylish and affordable

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

My Chevy traverse is reliable. Always gets me where I need to go. It has the third row seating, which is you have kids like I do, is an amazing feature to have. It is a V6 which provides all the power I need to get me to work and my kids school but can also tow small things when needed.

    - Rochelle G

Do not buy this year model.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Timing chains in this year model go bad early. Suspension is not great and started failing sooner than expected. Do not like that middle row is not captain seating-seats are very hard to flip forward to get into bad row. Transmission has issues. Electronics have problems.

    - Amanda W

Best car ever!! Absolutely love the gas mileage versus a big SUV.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Great gas mileage, perfect for carpooling. Lots of room for sports equipment. It's not a minivan nor a big SUV for those who want a vehicle that is right in the middle of those. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone with families. I absolutely love it!!

    - Rachel T

    Traverse, the best little SUV.

    2010 Chevrolet Traverse LS

Great car. I had a couple problems but they were easily fixed. Lots of room, seats 8 and seats can go down for storage. Comfy seats. Great GPS and radio system. Great steering. Great braking system. Love the way it handles. Looks great inside and out.
