Chevy traverse 2011 nice red color.
It is comfortable, though the back row is certainly tight. I only put children back there. It does not have an automatic hatch and that can be frustrating. Changing the headlights' light bulbs is truly terrible and other maintenance is difficult to do yourself because of design flaws.

Spacious and reliable for my big family.
Have no issues with the car apart from the fact that it has low gas mileage. It is very spacious and comfortable for long road trips with the family. My car has a rear TV with DVD player and my kids definitely enjoy it. Rear ac and passenger adjustable ac.

Affordable hour drive family car that seats over 6 people.
The car has been great for us. There's plenty of space. And we have a third row that we use sometimes. Ok. It is all wheel drive. Which is nice for when it is icy out. It does not use too much gas. But it is a great family vehicle. It is been very reliable over the years. And we've only had a few minor repairs.

Very comfortable ride on a budget.
2011 Chevy traverse is very roomy seating 8 adults. Lots of cargo room. Smooth ride. Perfect for a family with pets. The second and third row seats folds completely down making large loads easy to move. Full size SUV tire make the ride comfortable with great ground clearance.

I love my car, and wouldn't change it.
I love my car just the way it is. There's nothing wrong with it. All the features are exactly what I need for my family. And all the extra air bags inside the car keep my children safe. I have extra space for storage if I need to carry dressers in it.

Most comfortable, reliable vehicle I have ever owned.
Very reliable, extremely comfortable and has plenty of room, whether for family/friends or camping gear. It performs very well, decent gas mileage. I like that it has controls for the rear of the car for heat and/or air conditioning. I have had no issues with this vehicle, and purchased for a great price.

Good car. Good sound system.
It is a pretty good car. It currently has 290,000 miles on it so it struggles sometimes, but that is to be expected when a car has that much use. It has a great stereo system, with a CD player and aux cord. It also has a good amount of cup holders. Overall, I would recommend it.

Great ride. Great on gas. No complaints from me.
Great around the corners in the summertime with my winter tires still on it. Handles like a dream. Would be nice if I didn't have to replace headlights so often. Other than that, great ride, great on gas. No complaints from me. Cannot wait to get another one.

Window switches go out frequently.
The only problems I've had are the window switches go bad a lot and have to be replaced in order to roll the window down or up. We have replaced the water pump once and the alternator once. Those were not problems. Just things that have to happen as a car gets older.

The family vehicle. I love the entertainment package that comes with this Chevy.
The motor had to replace it. I really like this vehicle and the gas mileage. I like the DVD player on my car and how it keeps my grandkids entertained. I have enough room for the three car seats. Have enough room for a small ice chest with snacks for my grandkids.

I like the inside room it has and that it can pull a boat.
Has had a lot of recalls. Other than that the car has been pretty good. I do like the seating adjustment. It can fit 8 people or you can lay done all of the back seats for lots of room. It is great for solo camping. Plus it can tow trailers. Has a nice outer design also.

Chevy traverse: great family car!
Only have had one problem with the car, when it overheated. A pump was replaced and it was good to go. It does well in snow up to about 12 inches and can tow our 5x10 landscape trailer. The trunk space is awesome! The only negative is when I am on a hill the car tends to roll, which can be dangerous.

Love my traverse!! Seat warmers for the win!
I absolutely love everything about this car. It is very safe and reliable. The seat warmers are a big plus too. My model has remote start and a backup camera which I have never had before and really enjoy. Being a slightly lifted vehicle makes it good for night driving because oncoming car lights are not right in your eyes.

Chevy traverse is a great vehicle.
Love the backup camera. Performs wells. Love my sunroof and moonroof. Spacious. 3 booster seats fit on the back row. Smooth ride. SiriusXM radio. Power seats. Reliable. No problems so far. A great vehicle. Trunk space is very good. No complaints at all.

Great vehicle for our family.
Never really had a problem with my vehicle. Great if you have kids. Plenty of storage in the back, easy for loading and unloading groceries. The back is also a good place for the kids to change clothes if needed on those busy days. We always make sure we do the scheduled maintenance on our vehicles and it has always ran great. Also great for vacations with plenty of room for our family of 4.

Traverse Chevy 2011 review!!
Great car just bad on gas in city a lot of leg room and if the maintenance is keep up it runs great but once a problem happens then a couple more is going to follow and the price drops as you leave the lot when you are on the highway it is wonderful an amazing car for traveling.

I love my Chevy traverse!
I love the ground clearance provided by this automobile. I am able to drive into areas which would be inaccessible by many vehicles. I do wish I had been able to purchase the all wheel drive option or one with a tow package. The seats fold down flat and allow for lots of cargo space.

2011 Chevy traverse review.
This is a very reliable and trustworthy vehicle. The only thing I miss is having 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. I love the spacious room the traverse has. My traverse has captains seats and third row seating, which accommodates so many people. When the third row is down, there is plenty of space for storage and hailing! We just added a tow package to tow a small trailer, and I cannot even tell it is there. I would highly recommend this vehicle and I will definitely buy on again!

A brown van-like vehicle with normal black interior with reclining back seats.
I absolutely adore my Chevy traverse. It is big and comfortable and I think my fav thing about it is that in the back there is a huge space for things; it is like an enlarged trunk. It drives great and I have never had any issue with it. It is pretty looking and its stereo system is really nice also. I think the only thing I’d prefer with the stereo system is if there was a USB port for your phone to plug in for music but I got to take into consideration that it is a 2011 and will not have a lot of the amenities a newer vehicle would have. That is about my only complaint. The seats are comfortable and it is easy to drive and park considering how large it is.

The Chevy traverse is family friendly and spacious
I've had several mechanical issues with the car. I've replaced the water pump and a radiator hose. It is costly to fix. I do like the size of the vehicle and I like the way it drives. We have used it to tow a camper and have taken it on several road trips. I would purchase another Traverse.

No Bells and Whistles, But Reliable
Traverse has been very reliable over the years. I wish it had some more technological features such as automatic lift gate. Mine is 8 years old now and has no major issues with proper maintenance over the years. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who doesn't care about all the bells and whistles.

It's got plenty of room and having the third row seating is a blessing.
accountCircle kaitlyn k on March 27, 2021
It is very large. I only have one child so I don't really need a huge car. It has three rows so it's a little excessive for my small family. Being so large, it makes parking extremely difficult.
My car is the definition of a mom-car. It is perfect for toting around children and groceries.

The Chevy traverse- the secret to all your SUV needs!
Absolutely love my Chevy traverse! Found one at a great price! I was ready for an interview so I can get around in wintery conditions better. This has definitely made that possible! I took a huge liking to the cool, black interior, and the third row seating is the icing on the cake!

I love that is it a family car but doesn't look like a minivan.
We got the traverse because we were expecting our third child and we needed the room. I love how much room is in the back. Very comfortable and great running car. Only thing I don't like is when the third row is up there is not much space. But other than that a great family car
accountCircle Amy R on March 24, 2021
It is a reasonably priced small SUV with three rows of seating.
I like the flexibility of having three rows of seats or extra cargo space when the seats fold down without having to drive a huge vehicle. The gas mileage is good and it's easy to maneuver. There is not much cargo room when the seats up all in use and that is a drawback for a large family.

We have had very few problems with the Traverse. It easily fits our large family comfortably and has been used to transport larger things on occasion. It is comfortable and reliable, which is great for bigger families like mine. OnStar is our favorite feature in the Traverse.

I would get the model with captains chairs.
We have had some problems with this car. We needed to replace the cooling system and the ac unit. Other than that is has been good! We love the captains chairs, it made it easier with car seats. The back row completely folds down to make huge trunk space. The captains chairs slide back and forward to allow more leg room for the back row. They also fold down in case you need extra trunk space.

Positives and negatives of traverse.
We are running into many problems recently. Replaced whole air conditioner because of a hole. The electric windows are not working. The electric panel on the driver's side cracked and needs to be fixed. Plus sides it is very spacious. We are able to fit all five of us plus our camping gear! The running boards have been a big help with children and older family members getting in and out of the car.

Chevrolet traverse timing chain.
I have problems with the timing chain and motor already. But after replacing it I really love the way the vehicle drives and space it has for my kids and all of their stuff. I wish it got a little better gas mileage. But for my family it works out very well.

It seats eight people. I got it because I have a largish family and my best friend has a large family and we needed to fit as many people as we could in the car.
It's an okay car, but I think it was a lemon year. In the first few years I had to spend thousands of dollars in computer repair.

StabiliTrak issues and power steering pump. The car sways way too much, and it seems like it makes a horrible grinding noise from the front shock area.

Room for adults, but no remote start.
I like it but I have an emissions light that never turns off. I have taken it in a few times, but it is not an easy inexpensive fix so I live with it. In doing so I live with not being able to use my remote start and I live in Minnesota so that has been a downside. It is comfortable and you can seat 6 adults in it.

I really love my traverse. It's spacious and dependable and very good on gas. I had to fix a few minor things on it and it didn't cost that much for parts and labor. I've been on the highway a few times for travel and she purred like a kitten. This is one of the best cars I ever had.

Chevrolet traverse give it a try.
Problems used too much gas. Need to change oil before time. Breaks do not last too long when I drive I feel my car to heavy transmission to slow every time I put gas wouldn't turn on normally I need to put gas with the engine on but not all the cars are the same maybe because this car is used I do not buy it brand new but is a good car have a lot of spacious for a big family very secure comfortable to travel or to go out with the family.

Wow! Replacing a headlight.
This car is extremely easy to drive. It holds the road well and is not a walker. This car has lots of room for the family as well as plenty of cup holders. It needs to have more places to plug in phones and tablets. The exterior of the car is not built well. It does not hold up well. To replace a headlight requires taking it to a mechanic. The entire fender must be loosened and depending on the size of the mechanics hand may have to be removed entirely to replace the light.

Smooth ride and great durability.
Drives well - very comfortable although leather is not long lasting but feels smooth still over 120,000 miles later. I love the features and there is not a ton that needs checked on every year. Gas mileage could be better but still a fantastic vehicle.

The problems of a Chevy traverse don't waste the money.
It seems they have transmission problems, along with power steering problems, and the parts for the car are costly. And every person I know with one the speakers have went out on them. I would not recommend this car to anyone. 2015 model and up are good.

The Chevy traverse is all you need in an SUV, and then some!
The Chevy traverse is a very nice vehicle. It is roomy, drives great, can seat up to 8 people. The feature to fold both back rows of seats down is wonderful. Decent gas mileage for the type of vehicle and a v6 engine. I love how much space it has inside, it is nice for if you need the space to haul things, or for the kids to all sit comfortably with space in between. It has a very good field of view, with large windows and windshield, and nice sized mirrors with small utility mirrors in the corners, blind spots are virtually nonexistent.

The traverse is great on gas both in town and on the highway.
The traverse is a good car but it has several problems with water in the plugs in the door and traction control, and water in the head and brake lights. But other than that I really am pleased with my vehicle. The car handles good, there is little to no noise inside the car while driving. The rears seats are easy to lay down and get back up.

My traverse is an awesome ride.
The gas mileage is great. One of the smoothest riding cars I have been in. I love the Bluetooth hookup for my phone so I can talk to people without having to hold my phone. The only thing I didn't care for is the second row seats are a little narrow and I find it difficult to hook up my grandsons car seat.

Amazing family car and every day driver.
I purchased my vehicle because we outgrew my previous vehicle. It is easy to drive and has held up very well in the 5 years I have owed it. With regular maintenance, we have not had a serious issue arise yet. The captain chairs in the middle really make it nice when my kids are getting in and out and helps prevent issues of feeling over crowded. The seats are very comfortable and allow you to adjust lumbar, etc. For maximum comfort. It handles well in all weather driving.

I love my traverse. It has been a reliable vehicle. I love the spacious inside. We have two children and they love the bucket seats in mid-section for themselves. We have plenty of room for guests. I love that I can lay down all the seats and fit large items in the back. We like it better than my husband's truck for transporting large items because they are out of the weather and can be locked in safely. Great quality that was built to last.
The traverse is a wonderful car that I feel safe driving my family. It is large and wonderful for long distance travel as I can fit a lot in the trunk and in the seats. It is also an attractive car in design. The ltz has many features and while I have a 2011 which was purchased certified used, it is still impressive with rear camera and air conditioned seats. This vehicle tends to have a lot of electrical issues specifically with the windows. It definitely takes up a lot of gas so it is not very fuel efficient. The rims are standard twenty inches on this model, and the leather interior feel like butter. I have had issues with the wiper fluid dispenser. Also the serpentine belt has given me issues, but that was minor.

It is a very good family vehicle.
This vehicle is so comfortable for my whole family. It has captains chairs so no kids have to be touching each other. My car is very good on gas. Only issue I have had was when a sensor was bad and anytime I would get gas my car wouldn't want to start. Changed the sensor and it works like new.

The third row is very helpful and allows me the extra space we need.
I love the size of the vehicle. It allows me to carry 7 people and supplies comfortably.

It is powerful and has a smooth ride. It is it very dependable and roomy.
I still love my 2011 Traverse. It is comfortable, has pickup. I was roomy enough soccer carpools and family trips. Only real big expense was when my A/C died in 2017. Otherwise I have been very please with the quality and performance. This is the longest I have ever owned a car before trading it in for a new one. I hope to have it for a few more years.

Perfect size for any situation.
I like the size of it. I'm able to carry tons of groceries. Traveling is a breeze. We are able to fit our luggage plus a dog kennel, and even our golf clubs. It's perfect for an active 20 something like myself. I see a lot of value in having a vehicle like this even when I have children someday. You can sit up to seven or fold the back seats down for extra space for cargo.

Good for long and short drives!
With the traverse the I am driving, it is very trusted with long drives. I have driven up to 300 miles a day but it still performs well and give us comfort. Though it is already old, it is still very reliable and durable. It is also very spacious that a lot of people (up to 9) could fit in. The back part has a wide space where we can put some of our things in. It is good for short and long drives.

Great space, not amazing performance.
We have had numerous performance issues and repairs made on this vehicle. After less than a year it needed an entirely new engine! The car needed new timing belt and would shake over 70mph. We have had holes in the ac pipes multiple times. The radio aux plug broke after about 5 years and it is very difficult to replace the front headlights, we have to take it to the shop every time because the car nearly needs to be taken apart for something so simple.

It is such an easy car to drive with plenty of get up and go.
Love the zip the car has for such a large SUV. Bought the car so we could transport grandchildren. Still a fun car to drive.

It drives amazingly and you can fit quite a few people in it.
I like how it drives. I love all the room it has. I love the design of it. I do not have any complaints of this car it meets everything we like.

The timing chains are known for going out of this year and model.
4 months after we bought it we had to put $2200 in the motor. The mechanic said it's very common in this make of vehicle.

Not happy with a traverse.
Since buying the car used we have had several issues with it. Lucky for me, my husband does a lot of the work rather than taking it in, but it just seems to be one thing after another. I would prefer a much more upgraded car. One with heated seats, a sunroof, a better display where the radio is.

This spacious comfortable and stylish vehicle is the best!
I haven't had any major problems other than wiring for my radio is messed up. It is nice and roomy, and has comfortable seats. The battery lasts forever because it is inside the car. There are no real blind spots. It fits my family of six with room to spare too.

It has seating for 7, however the rear 5 seating spaces are not ideal for an adult.
There's no back up camera. Although it has seating for 7, it's not comfortable for 7 people. If you have 7 occupants there's no cargo space.

Chevy traverse: the truth!
I love the Chevy traverse. I was iffy on how much gas it would take it fill it up every week, and to my surprise it was an awesome price. I am so happy I got this car, I definitely recommend if you have children! The 3rd row seating makes a huge difference for road trips.

Good on treacherous road conditions and it's a six cylinder but powerful SUV.
What I like about my vehicle is that it's all wheel drive. Good on treacherous road conditions. Very roomy fits seven passengers.

It is a smooth ride and easy to control.
I have owned my Traverse approximately 3 years now. The interior is comfortable, easy to keep clean and appealing. From the outside my Traverse is sleek, rounded and looks great. My favorite features are: my remote which I am able to start my vehicle from, also the auto back door opener and all the drink holders throughout the vehicle.

Chevy traverse: the good and the bad.
I have a 2011 Chevrolet traverse. I feel it is great if you have children and offers a lot of space. You can store a lot of things in the back. My car has had issues with the CD player but that might not be a concern to some that stream music. We've had to replace a lot of things but it is a great car otherwise. I’d rate it a 3/5.

The safety record and having won the j d power award.
I like the overall interior with the 3 rows of seats holding up to 8 people. It won a JD Power safety award. I am able to lay seats down to haul large items.
