Chevy traverse, good family vehicle.
Been very reliable, with only maintenance needed have been brakes and tires. Would recommend this vehicle to friends and family. Interior is comfortable with heated seats. No problems with exterior rust. Vehicle has nearly 90,000 miles and is driven daily.

I can barely turn in this vehicle.
The turn radius on it is horrible. Parking is a nightmare. In order to pull into a parking place, I have to always overshoot and then correct. If it is a parking spot with a car on either side, I have to overshoot and almost hit one of the cars and then back up and then go forward. While this is not unique to the traverse, it does happen a lot more frequently than when I drove my old car which was a Chevy trailblazer.

Great features, great vehicle.
The only problem I have had with this vehicle is that it is not obvious what all the buttons do. It is spacious and comfortable. It has decent gas mileage, considering it is an SUV. I really like being able to listen to my Pandora account in the car. It is also great on the snowy roads that my locale experiences regularly.

2016 Chevrolet comes with features that prepare for almost any situation.
To be honest, my vehicle has no problems as of now and the comfort and reliability is outstanding. It comes with built in Wi-Fi which is also a plus in book. It also has seat warmers for every seat for personalized comfort for each passenger. In conclusion, I love my 2016 Chevy.

A review of the Chevy traverse.
I love the amount of space the traverse has. The gas mileage is less than ideal, but that is the trade-off for the capacity to move more stuff. I was excited to take a road trip with multiple people comfortably before covid happened. The dash and controls are largely intuitive.

Traverse not all the bells and whistles work right.
It is a very good vehicle. We got ours used so that is part of the reason I am giving it a low star. It does have problems with the electrical system. The dash light dims anytime. Some of the stuff with the radio doesn't stay on. It's bothersome when you can't read your dash! Things just fall off randomly. Its sturdy but to much plastic. Vents fall off and won't go back in. The seat belt covers come off. The lever for the seat adjustments won't stay on, and you cannot put them back on.

The pros of the Chevy traverse.
The Chevy traverse has been a very reliable car. I love that it has 3rd row seating decent on gas mileage and been mechanically sound. The Chevy traverse was also roomy when I moved the back seats fold down and gave me lots of room. The Chevy traverse is a great car for family. And multi children families.

Great family vehicle on a budget.
The cross-over is very spacious for large family and has a big truck space for shopping needs. There is hidden storage for safekeeping. Electric windows with heated seats and light around trim to glow at night on the inside interior. The model was in a great shape with tinted windows for comfort on the eyes.

Traverse is the best for families with more than one kid.
This is one of the best vehicles I have ever had. Minor problems with this car no issues with the exception of the a/c hoses but that is minor wear and tear with owning a car for this long. Would recommend this car to anyone. Only downfall is I chose the wrong color black because it holds the summer heat would have gotten a different color.

Terrific traverse! Perfect size!
I really like the traverse because it is big enough to fit my entire family if we need to travel together. I have a husband and 4 grown children. It is small enough where I did not feel like I am driving a bus. (I had a Yukon before and it was very big) the only problem I have had so far is that the windows get stuck. I need to replace the switch. It has been reliable and drives great. It is very comfortable and has easy to use features. It has a lot of room in the back for cargo if we travel. Overall a great car!

Chevy traverse 10/10 great car.
I love this car, it has the space you'll need. Drives and rides great! Never had any problems out of it. The 3rd row is great for a growing family. You can haul things, seats fold down. The price point is right on when buying this vehicle also! 10/10 recommend.

Easy to make room and enjoy my truck.
Well when I first bought my truck I loved it. I love to drive it every day. My grandkids love it because they have their own space and enjoy riding around. They love going on trips and love to go camping outdoors. They love it because they do not need to set up a tint they just lay seats down and go to sleep.

Outstanding drive with a few cosmetic issues. I would buy it again.
The only issue is part of the lining has come off the back passenger door. I love the car and everything else about it. I think it is super roomy for myself and 2 kids with plenty of room in the back. It is pretty easy to clean as far as kids go. I think it drives well and has many safety features. It does not take off too quickly, I feel like it could do better with a larger engine.

The room that there is to fit enough people.
It is really good and comfortable. We have 7 people who go on vacation and it is got the room to fit us all and fit all of our luggage plus a car seat and room for all of us to sit comfortably. The mileage is good and it works good on gas. I would suggest getting this car, it is the best one I have ever driven in.

Go with a different car! Not a family car at all.
Tons of problem for being such a new vehicle. The ac stopped working shortly after warranty. A lot of the wires came messed up on it. Not the best choice if you have more than 2 kids. Spent thousands of dollars fixing all the problems. The vehicle was not worth it. After warranty expired everything started messing up on it.

It works most of the time.
Had to replace the transmission and radiator under 70,000 miles. Will say she does hold up pretty good different terrain. Bluetooth compatible is worthless tho. Amazing storage space. Plenty of USB ports. Comfortable seats that are very adjustable for your comfort.

Wish for better interior quality.
There have been too many issues with this vehicle for my liking. Inside feels cheaply made, things are falling apart! Pieces of the interior broke off! Even the outer dials on the radio are peeling! So strange! It is very comfy inside though and we love the third row back seat. And amount of trunk space.
accountCircle James M on April 16, 2021
Chevy for me; an SUV that meets my needs.
I really enjoy my traverse. At times, the breaking can seem questionable, but it is probably from where and tear. I really like the stereo controls on the wheel and the heated seats. The only issue is that the trunk space, even when folding down the 3rd row, seems small. I'd like it if the seats folded into the floor instead.

Great family vehicle with some minor inconveniences.
This is a great family vehicle. I do wish the trunk was a bit bigger as we have a child's wheelchair and other equipment to put back there and 4 children altogether. It is probably the most comfortable car I have ever had. I do notice it is not a fan of the cold weather though, lags to start if it is below freezing.

Lots of space, good for large families. Very comfortable as a passenger or driver. For highway driving, I wish the ride was smoother and that there was better pickup. Had electronic problems and an issue with the window at a low mileage. The backup camera image quality is poor.

Great vehicle for my family.
It is very roomy. Seats 8 with storage space still available in the back. This vehicle has very good gas mileage for the size. I have used it to take my family on many trips to the lake, parks, and various states across the country. I highly recommend this vehicle for any growing family.

Matcha versus been reliable. I drive back and forth across the state frequently and I have had zero problems. And my entire family fits in the traverse. Play get good gas mileage for the car being as large as it is. The only thing we've had to do is change the brakes and tires.

The Chevrolet traverse: a perfect family SUV.
This is a midsize SUV that comfortably seats up to 7 people. The Chevrolet traverse drives and handles incredibly well and provides the safety every parent desires for their children. It is equipped to tow or haul if you require it. You will not be disappointed.

Hidden storage in the back and the front console can be pulled out for more room.
Had some issues with it pulling errors even when nothing is wrong. Other than that great spacious car. Has 8 seats and still room in the trunk. Has a ton of hidden storage compartments great for traveling and for car seats in there great! The back gets cool fast and can be controlled by the back.

It's' great for taking the kids and their multiple friends on outings as well as carrying them to and from various activities with all their necessary gear!
I love most everything about it. It feels more like driving a car, rather than and SUV. It has 3 rows of seating with a capacity for 8 people. The seat rows are adjustable making it comfortable for those passengers in the back. There are only minor things I miss from my previous vehicle (Trailblazer) like the shelf component in the back to organize items. I also miss the back glass not being separate so that I can open it and grabs stuff quickly rather than open the entire back of the vehicle. I also miss the back side windows that could be opened to vent air in the summer Texas heat! All in all though... I LOVE my Traverse and it has been a wonderful replacement for my beloved Trailblazer!!

Chevy Traverse Accessory Package
My Chevy Traverse has been reliable as a daily driver with many extended trips over 100 miles at a time. However, the car does not get the gas mileage I would expect or feel as the competitors in the SUV market are currently getting. Additionally, the lack of Bluetooth ability in the car for music, where the car can use Bluetooth for phone calls is frustrating. The Chevy provided OnStar is a good feature where the base model can gain GPS assistance, with map display showing the car has the capabilities to be better for the consumer.
accountCircle Scott H on March 4, 2021
Very roomy. Decent guess mileage. Family feel safe.
My wife and I really love our 2016 Chevy traverse. We love the captains chairs because we have two young children and putting the car seats in at those captains chairs is much more convenient for us than have there been a bench seat. The backseat still allows us to travel with other family members yet when we for them down we have room to transport items. My wife has specific things that she looks for in a vehicle and loves the traverse enough where she is stated that she would not hesitate to get another one.

It had plenty of room for my family. The captain seats are fantastic for everyone getting in and out. The back and seat warmers are the best thing for cold mornings. Best vehicle I have owned.
I love my Chevrolet traverse. It is really reliable and I haven't had any issues. Only thing that the traverse had needed is standard maintenance and new tires. The only problem that I have with my traverse is that it is a ls. Because of that, the Bluetooth does not play my music, but it does connect for phone calls. It also does not have a power liftgate which would be useful. If those are must have features for you, I suggest moving up on the trim.

Chevy Traverse is one of the best cars I've owned
So far had only a few problems with car. One is with the air conditioner where the air stopped working and second problem was the back hatch would not open but was able to get fixed. Overall the car drives nicely and has ample room for a growing family. Inside is very comfortable with a lot of room and comfortable seating for those long car trips. My favorite part is the features that lets me know of cars driving beside me that may be in my blind spots and also the sound that alerts when I go outside the lines of the road. I strongly recommend this vehicle especially to families and would definitely buy another one

Chevrolet traverse benefits and issues.
Very roomy vehicle for a relatively small size SUV. Low maintenance costs. Not the best gas mileage for the vehicle type. Have had problems with oxygen sensors going out. Luckily they were under warranty at the time (2 of them). Check engine light comes on now and again, but goes off after some time (usually within 48 hours).

Traverse review: good car some issues!
I really do enjoy my traverse. Though there are some things that I couldn’t like about this car. The first thing is how low the seats are in the car. Although they do have the opportunity to be raised I feel as though it should be higher. Keep in mind I am 5’4, therefore I think this car is better for taller people. The air conditioning unit always breaks and costs a fortune to replace.

2016 year Chevrolet traverse.
It is a good car. It does its job. It is roomy enough and if I put the seat down the trunk space holds all of my kids sports gear. The pickup is not amazing but it works well. It is large enough without being a huge car that takes up all the space wherever I go.

The seating is great, and it is perfect for everyday travel.
My Chevy traverse is the perfect size for families with children. It has seating for 8 people, but is not too big and gets pretty good gas mileage, better than larger SUVs that seat 8. I like the performance for the most part. I would like more room for traveling long distances since the interior is rather small, but it is perfect for everyday travel. The only real complaint I have is that several things break easily in the car, like the seats. My driver's seat is broken and basically falling apart, and I have no idea why. I also noticed one of the adjustment panels on a rear seat was coming apart, also, and no one really sits in that seat often.

The Family Functionality of the Chevy Traverse
The traverse is a roomy 7 passenger vehicle, though I feel only 6 would fit comfortably. With the third row put down you can fit a lot of shopping on the back. The car drives solid like a high end vehicle, and has pretty good mileage. I drive about 100 miles a day and with regular oil changes (I use synthetic oil and I am sure to change it when the car is below 6% or 5000 whichever comes first). The car has 8 seats and cones in handy for hauling people to events or vacations. And the seats all good in the back so I can carry all kinds of things from couches to bricks to groceries and the traverse handles it all. Great pep in the engine, and excellent driving and handling.

Problems I have had is engine light coming on randomly, with no issues appearing. It has been a pretty reliable car over all. The power steering did recently go out but had it replaced which was pricey. Comfort is not bad, but not the best. We have 2 car seats and a booster. We did have to buy a different type of booster seat to fit in between the two car seats. But we do have the third row option which my kiddo usually likes to sit back there. The middle row seats will move forward and back to provide more space in front or behind which I like. I wish there was an easier way to fold the seats down though for easier access to the back seats. Love the storage space, even with 3rd row up, there is still a decent amount of space. I find this car seems to have more space width wise as well compared to other SUV’s. Vehicle has simple “technology” features, I would have liked to have navigation, but it is not a big deal. You can sign up for OnStar with this model and hands free calling, which I have not used either. Overall I love this vehicle.

I love that our car is now big enough for our growing family. Having a third row ia a plus. However the seats are not very comfortable for the back seat passengers.

Comfortable, safe and great features.
I just don't like the style it reminds me of a minivan from the outside. I do like how it drives, that my kids have TV, we all fit comfortably, I have 3 kids. The captain seats also make my life so much easier. The navigation is good, it rides smoothly and I like when it tells me I am going into another lane (I hate that sometimes it scares me and flashes if someone’s headlights are too bright and it flashes that I am going head on when I am not.).

It has a backup camera and sensor.
Very spacious, takes about $50+ to fill up every 2 weeks, currently dealing with a transmission problem, technology is problematic. It does not always connect to devices. Smooth drive, does roll back when you put it into park. Comfortable seats, heated as well. Middle Captain seats move and 3rd row seating folds down.

Dependable, reliable and a great vehicle. I would buy one again.
I like the amount of cargo space and the ride. I wish it had a little more ground clearance but overall I am very happy with it.

The traverse is a safe mom vehicle that looks good!
Love the traverse. It rides nice. Leather seats are comfortable. It is very reliable. Looks good, family loves it! The DVD player is a huge hit for the kids. The back seats fold down for storage. I had a mini van for a few years and was happy to go back to a Chevy.

The audio in this car is not the best. I would want another type of audio system in the car.
It is a great family car. I enjoy having autostart and also the media component that we have.

Chevrolet family always. Very reliable.
Love my traverse. Roomy and very comfortable. Third row seats are perfect for those extras that needs rides. Driving my traverse is really smooth. I highly recommend this vehicle. It is only my 2 kids and myself but this is perfect for a family. The we-if in the car is also so useful for the kids and for when driving a distance so that they can use their tablets and watch shows.

The traverse is stylish and reliable. I love that it has a sunroof.
The traverse is a very reliable vehicle. I have not needed any major repairs. I wish I had gotten the all wheel drive instead of just front wheel drive. After driving the traverse I will not go back to a sedan. The vehicle is very roomy and my kids can plug in all their devices.

Great for family road trips! It's easy to drive, and a great fit for a family of 7.
I like how it's easy to drive. I like the gas mileage. I wish it had more leg room

The safety ratings are high. The car is extremely comfortable and has all of the amenities that you would want or need
It is comfortable and has all the bells and whistles that would need in a vehicle. Safety ratings are also very high

Basic traverse hate or do not hate.
I really enjoy my car, it is very spacious and big. It is very comfortable and the feature that I liked the most is that it is a 7 passenger car, and the layout of it. I do not like some features about my car like the fact that the seats in the back cannot go all the way back, or that the armrest in the front does not have a lot of storage under it.

It handles nicely and I have no trouble in bad weather in it.
I love my vehicle. The seats are comfortable. It drove really nice. The only thing I wish it had was apple play.

2016 Chevrolet traverse, the family car.
There's a good amount of storage capacity in this vehicle. It is very reliable as it has been driven across the country and back without issue. The service alerts are usually accurate and allow for maintenance to be provided accordingly. This improves the longevity of the vehicle and keeps costs the owner may have to pay for repairs low.

Good SUV who have big family.
The Chevrolet traverse is a good SUV. It makes for a great everyday vehicle, particularly if you carpool regularly or have a big family. The traverse gets decent gas mileage, has plenty of cargo space, and comes with an easy-to-use infotainment system.

Comfort advantages of Chevrolet traverse.
The Chevrolet traverse is a large size SUV that can fit a large families needs. There is plenty of legroom in all areas of the car that make long distance drives smooth and comfortable. Dual zone air conditioning/heating keep the temperature of the car extremely comfortable on those cold winter mornings or hot summer days. The only disadvantage of the SUV is the trunk space. For a large car the trunk is relatively small and often times we have to fold the back seats down when going grocery shopping in order to accommodate supplies.

Chevy traverse highlights.
Love the captain seats! Extra cargo space in the trunk of the car. When I have large cargo, both back seats go down for extra space. Not as fuel efficient as I’d like it to be. Has powered windows and powered driver seat. Powered passenger seat would have been a bonus.

Mirrors have a blinking light when a car is approaching on either side.
The traverse has a lot of space. Captain chairs in second row and very spacious third row. Captain chairs and third row go all the way down for extra storage. Easy to use touch screen for radio and other car info. Gets good gas mileage and easy to drive.

A family car that you'll like to drive.
We got the 3rd seat, so we're able to fit all three kids and our three large dogs in the car for family trips. It is also able to tow our pop up trailer, so we do not have to cram into my husband's truck. We purchased the car with optional Wi-Fi, the kids love being able to be on their electronics on a long car ride.

I love my traverse! Very good vehicle roomy and comfortable ride.
I have owned 3 Chevrolet traverses. I love this vehicle. It is comfortable and roomy. I have had no issues mechanically with any of my traverses. It is good on gas mileage, very comfortable on long road trips. The only problem I have had is that the drivers side seat gets cracked on the side.
