Toyotas are known for quality and being long lasting.
Great mileage with electric and gas modes. Fun to drive. Has more power than expected. Love Chevrolet products and dependability.

My amazing Chevy volt is the best!
My Chevy volt it is amazing. It was obviously a flag ship vehicle for Chevrolet. I have had nothing but good luck with this vehicle. And now that it is paid off I only pay about $10 a month to drive it as a local commuter vehicle. It is extremely comfortable and there is plenty of space to load supplies with the seats folded down and using the hatchback.

The right car for me to drive around the county.
I love the electric/gas hybrid. Low maintenance, enough cargo room for me, just use it for in city travels, shopping, doctors, etc. But have taken it on a longer trip on occasion, performs well on the highway too. Easy to charge but does take some time, not a super fast charger.

Electric Vehicle and EV Hybrids are the Future
I love the electric vehicle hybrid type of this car. Because I live in a city, I can charge it overnight, get 40 miles of a charge on it, drive around to work and backs, and hardly ever use gas

Fantastic daily driver. You will not be disappointed.
Fantastic car, great daily driver. Easy to switch between electric and gas engine. Only improvement would be if a spare tire was included! This has been the most reliable car I have ever had. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and plan to keep for a long time.

Good on gas, reliable, fun to drive.
There no problem with the vehicle. It perform very well. It very reliable. Lot of room in the front, not so much in the back seats. With the back seats down there is a lot of room in the hatch area for storage or a trip to the store. Gas in the tank is good for 3-4 months and up to 400 miles on one tank.

Great car, great concept, it is a Chevy, so inherently it has a few problems.
The Chevy volt concept is the smartest concept for an electric vehicle right now, so the infrastructure for fully electric vehicles is so sparse right now. The volt won me over to electric, and I'll never go back to a fully gas vehicle. It does have problems with a few things. The parking sensor has stopped working correctly and the charge door does not open on its own in the cold.

This is not the hybrid for a mom.
I do not like how unsafe it feels. I would like for there to be a middle seat in the back and more safety features. I have a 3 year old and I am constantly worried that something is going to happen to her if I were to get into an accident. This vehicle is very expensive to maintain, too.

My vehicle is comfortable and reliable.
My vehicle is nice I don't really like the noise it makes some times but I love the speed, I hate the fact that it does not have a back camera, it does not have somewhere to plug a USB key and it consumes so much gas. But in general, I like the car it looks beautiful, I love my blue color must. It is comfortable and soft. I love the way it was built up. Apart from the things I do not appreciate I'll recommend it.

Great vehicle with great range.
Great car with great mileage as well as good controls. Has problems when you surpass one-hundred thousand miles however, it does well with good electric range. Quiet with very little engine noise. Small back seats but spacious in front with decent trunk space. Easy to charge and operate.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Donald R.

It a plug in. Good on gas. Very easy to maintain. Oil change and total the wheels. Great for driving around town. Have different mod for driving. It only have one gear. 149 Horse power at all time.

Rarely need to go to the gas station because it is Electric vehicle. Only needs an oil change once per year when driving mostly electric. Acceleration of electric motor makes very fun to drive. It also makes me feel good to know that I am not using fossil fuels for most of my day to day driving. The car has also been very reliable.

likeFilled Donald R.

It good on gas, easy to maintain. Overnight charging and you good for 40 miles on electric. You only hear the tires on the road. It easy to recharge during the time one is shopping. It have a nice sound system in it.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Donald R.

It could use a longer charge, it get up to 42 miles. Not much room in the back for leg room. It only seat four people in total. Having a/c or heat on will wear down the charge faster. If you tall very little head room.

dislikeFilled Peter J.

It is small and low to the ground so getting in and out can be difficult especially for taller or older people. It does not handle as well as an SUV, for example, on slick or snowy roads. The electric charge port door sometimes gets stuck and is problematic to open. Apparently that was solved in newer models.

dislikeFilled Donald R.

Need a longer change for more miles. It give only 40 where other car will give 100 - 200 miles range. There very little room in the back seat, great if you have small children. You can only seat four people in the car.
