Excellent car for long and short trips and day to day travel.
Excellent for short and long trips. Having a hybrid means 90% of the time we use electric, but long trips dips into the gas. Over all, we use a lot less gas than a standard car. Very comfy, reliable and quiet car. Love it!

The Chevrolet volt is electrifying.
The Chevrolet volt is a cozy speedy car that drives very smoothly and has great ease of control. I like the rear projection for backing up. Adjustable side mirrors are one of many great safety features. One of my only complaints is that the trunk is not as spacious as it could be.

Chevy volt purchase was my best decision.
Excellent mpg, sporty, comfortable and great acceleration even being a hybrid. Comfortable and has room for hauling items. The hatchback is an excellent feature and back seat flattens for easy transport. Vehicle design looks great and so many compliments. My choice for a hybrid was this car first, a friend has one and I decided to go for it after driving his.

Chevy volt the greatest car.
The Chevy volt is a great car. I only have to fill it up once a month and use it as only less than a half a tank that I have to fill up as long as I can charge it at work I do not use any gas going to and from work which is over 85 mi round trip. It is too bad that they stop manufacturing these cars when they are all electric.

Almost all motels have 110v plugins so they'll "fill me up" for free.
No problems at all! Great gas mileage, drives nicely; I wouldn't change a thing about the car. The cell phone app for preconditioning the car works great, too! The battery gets about 60--70 mpg, figuring the kw hours of electricity compared to gas. Running the engine gets about 42 to 55 mpg.

Ev with a gas engine back up.
Been really good until recently. I had to take it in for warranty repair. The egr valve failed, which is part of the emissions system. Aside from that, it gets great fuel economy and I can go an entire month without going to a gas station. I do wish it had more electric range though.

Best electric hybrid car out there!
The Chevrolet volt is my favorite of all the vehicles I have owned. The mpg is a huge savings. Acceleration is the best and would highly recommend this car to anyone. I average around 50 miles of electric charge and hardly use gas. The comfort of this car is beyond amazing.

Range on full charge/charge time.
The Chevy volt is a good reliable vehicle, my only issues are the ev range, and the charge time. On a full charge it only has a range of 40 miles and it takes 8 to 12 hours to achieve a full charge at home. Other than that it is a great car, comfortable and reliable. If you live in town where you aren't driving a lot of miles I highly recommend it, if you live out of town where you drive more than 49 miles a day I do not recommend it.

My Chevy volt lt hatchback plug-in hybrid.
My 2017 Chevy volt was my first comfortable, fast speed car that had a lot of space for my everyday routine. I bought this car in 2018 it is a plug-in hybrid which I loved. The interior and exterior looks very nice. It is run great on gas and it is runs excellent. I have no problems with my Chevy but I can save it save a lot of gas.

My Chevy volt totally rocks!
My Chevy volt is reliable and fun to drive. It looks great and it is really fast. I like the dashboard layout and the look and feel of the interior. It is a hybrid electric so it saves me money on gas. Also it is a very reliable vehicle. I have had no repair costs in three years of losing my vehicle.

Rear view camera and media options.
Great vehicle, comfortable for drivers and passengers. Has a rear view camera that makes it easier and safer to back up and out of tighter spaces, as well as parallel park. Connects to your phone through charger and/or Bluetooth to play any media and/or Spotify. Can also have Sirius XM.

I hardly ever have to buy gas given that most of my commutes use less than the electric battery range. At the same time, I have a full gas tank whenever I need to driver longer or if I'd like to road trip. The car is extremely responsive and drives well: it feels nice. There are seat heaters. The speakers are wonderful.

Comfortable, even for tall people. Great gas mileage, even when operating with no battery. Spacious plenty of room in the trunk, not common in electric cars. Looks 'normal' unlike most electric cars. Organized engine compartment.

Since it is gas and electric I rarely have to fill up gas aside from when I go on trips. I also drives very smoothly and I have never had any problems with it. The cargo space could be a little better since things are a little cramped.

It is rather small. It can comfortably seat 4. Though there are five seats, the middle back seat is not somewhere anyone would appreciate sitting for any length of time. I honestly cannot think of any other cons.

Heater takes forever to work - 20 or more min of driving. Engine occasionally makes clicking noise. Can feel the difference between running on electric vs gas. Common issue where car does not read it is in park, needs a part replaced.

There is not a lot of cargo space. You can only comfortably get 4 people in the car and it make it a little difficult to transport some larger things due to the size of the trunk space it would be nice if it cost less.

How Reliable Is The 2017 Chevrolet Volt?

We had one issue where there was something wrong with how it was changing and wouldn't turn on. It was a computer glitch and Chevy fixed it.
